FAQ:
>Are Blokees 1/12?
They are non scale toys. Blokees come in series rather than scales
>Blokees Series
Blokees has lots of them but the most typical ones are:
-Wheels (1/64)
-Defender/Hero 5 (2 in)
-Hero 10 (4 in)
-Champion (5 in)
-Legend (7-8 in)
-Fantastics (7 in)
>Are blokees regular figures or model kits?
Depending on the series they can be just dissasembled toys (Hero 5-10, Fantastics, Daalamode, Dadoos..) or actual model kits with runners and everything (Champion, Legend)
>What the fuck happened to the Pokemon line
Due to political controversies in China the line has stopped at least for now, we hope it returns soon. Product is still being sold in other parts of asia at least

How are the Evas? Are they solid and sturdy? People have mentioned they're model kits rather than build a figures like the large Pokemon. But do they feel like figures? I really want figures of the TV Evas.

Godzilla will be Legends class when Blokees' releases, nothing firm AFAIK yet - but allegedly a China only availability (so Ali Express and other importers, although we've seen some of the e-commerce mom-and-pop sites in NA and Europe carry this stuff, as well as at least Australia, so probably other sites in Asia will also have imports for sale in their countries, with any markups.

Because it was Pokemon attempting to held a tcg event at a japanese shrine full of war criminals. After that the Chinese military took advantage of the whole drama and published an article about how the "evil" japanese agenda is trying to return japan to it's military past while infiltrating their culture into the chinese youth. They also included Detective Conan and My hero academia as examples by the way. Many chinese cons prohibited Pokemon and MHA cosplay (A Mirko cosplayer was beaten up in china after that). Basically paranoid politicians fucking everything up as always

Blokees Barbie and Harry Potter will both be, again allegedly, DaaLaMode class, so about 5.5" and fully articulated with accessories.
HP presumably based on the 20+ year old movies, not the new HBO Max series, although more likely based on book art and cover arts. And quite likely based on the UK art and very chibi looking, like some of the SpinMaster releases.
Barbie wouldn't surprise me if they do something based on the movie, even if the movie is now going to be nearly three summers old by the time they release.

The Blokees pokemon are all about 11cm/4.33" inches tall. So they are about an inch shorter than the SHFs so they do scale with those trainers. I assume the Figma and SHF scale with each other, so those should also work?

If you're strict by dex height I think only Lucario and Nidoking are perfect scale out of the large size figures. The others would ideally be somewhere between 1 to 2cm taller. The Snorlax is a bit small next to kid size trainers and will look off next to an adult size character. The small size figures like Squritle and Charmander are a bit big even just next to the other larger Blokees.

>Moon Knight. Rocket Racoon.
The pre-orders for these are up at BBTS, $27.99, so way better than the scalper pricing on Amazon or Walmart has been.
Am surprised EE hasn't gotten them up. And nothing yet on the Blokees Official US store.
Nothing yet at GameStop, but if they do list them at GS and you have a shop nearby, that's the best place to do your pre-order since you can do ship to store, put down only $5 and not pay until it arrives, and save on shipping fees. Next would be POL at BBTS, followed by ordering both and something else at EE to get their free ship at $79.
>>11770633
>>11770555
Rockets have been in hand for about two months now, MK now less than a week, so I suspect BBTS will still service in June, hopefully early in June.
>>11772361
Moon Knight released in Malaysia (and elsewhere in China) on (and a few before) the official 30th street date so people have them in hand.
You might get it in ten days to two weeks from Ali if you are really that impatient. It doesn't look like you'll really save much money unless you qualify for a welcome deal.

>>

>im getting fucked in the ass
Depends on where you are, what store you used (I assume SHOPPE?), etc. $10 is not nothing but you've already paid so why fuss it. I got screwed on a case price and then got fucked over on the shipping. It said FREE when I hit "pay this amount" on the "CC" order, but they claimed they didn't know the box size until it arrived and wouldn't know how much to ship it for till then, so I get charged shipping when I ship.
They ripped off the BBTS pile of loot but it's not a flat rate, it's whatever they feel they can get away with when you ask for your stuff. So I got raped a second time when I went to ship. What can you do?

I think newer Blastoise doesnt have teeth. Just the toes are really weird. Which art has only 2? I wonder what art they used as a reference?

>>11775250
Much of the early artwork was 2 toes in the front, 1 in the back and no teeth
This is reflected in the anime too
3 toes in the front with teeth is a later standardized revision to the design
Interestingly in the first movie the blastoise has teeth and 3 toes tweth design, but later in the ash versus Gary battle at the johto league it's the earlier 2 toes no teeth design

not really fussing about it, just that I can't find similar prices anywhere. FYI I'm also in SEA and none of the official stores have it at $15. I can't even find any chinese listing on AE for anywhere near $15. I think the guy either had some kinda welcome voucher or it really was a typo.

I also know what Shopee is, although funnily enough, we have this shitty thing called SHOP which is just a scammy version of PayPal used by some sellers on line because they aren't large enough to afford their own credit card processor and don't want to sell on someplace like Crapazom or Walmart/Target/BestBuy e-commerce sites.

Saint Seiya kits (the Galaxy, small blind boxes) get sold by 3P sellers on line (Target, Amazon, elsewhere) for $19.99, or what people are selling the CHAMPION class figures for Marvel.
At non 3P sellers (BBTS), the Champion Seiya's get sold for normal (North American prices - $19.99 at the low end), but you can also find - again 3P sellers at someplace like Walmart not too far from what you paid in Brazil.
I wonder if it's worse for someone in Bolivia or Chile?

There are licensing issues with the Resident Evil IP so you're best bet for Resident Evil action figures are all the unlicensed third party ones from China.

Kinda a staple of blokees having a mess of names. Some years back everything was separated into a fuckton of classes like how the pokemon line used to be Classic Version S and Classic Version L and then just before it went dead they moved the CVL to the Fantastic Series
And now with this we have:
>Champiom series
-Small/Medium/Large
-Lite
>>
>>
File: IMG_2755.jpg (79.8 KB)
>>11777375
>>11777393
So the L is the Superman and the Absolute Batman when it's released, PICREL is the M (medium), what's a Champion Class "S?" And Lite just means "accessory?"

File: telos.jpg (118.0 KB)
>>11777251
>>11775371
On the topic of the greebles, that's definitely thanks to the original Zero artist Toru Nakayama, who began adding more and more greebles into his later works as a sort of trademark.
I actualy don't mind it, it helps if you wanna repaint Zero into looking like the Telos album art (or panel line him with fluorescent blue energy lines).
>>
>>
>>
>>11777399
For S/M/L depends on the line. For rivals, Moon Knight is L, Venom is L, Peni is L, Rocket is L, Spiderman is M, Invisible Woman is M. Stormtrooper is interestingly S, Darth Vader is M. It's probably referring to the amount of plastic or height.
As for "S" versions, I think this only applies to Galaxy lines of toys that have the new updated body.
Champion Lite for now just seems to be accessories that are model kits for the Star Wars Galaxy line

Never understood the Pedo Misato meme. From her perspective there was no "after" because se was already dying. She tried to boost Shinji morale as the only thing that remained was him stopping instrumentalization and he actually did it.
Barely any different from any other anime where attractive adult women are used as sex symbols around kids and teenagers: Yoruichi, Boa Hancock, Tsunade, Mai Valentine, Future Mikuru, and probably most anime female teachers

And you could probably have been more patient on the paneling but it's mostly looks fine; it looks like you can touch up where its not too neat as far as fill-ins, not sure about what to do with a line. That's a Gunpla pen you used? I want to do some of that to a Marvel Legends Spider-Man.
I haven't taken the Rivals Blokee out of the box to think I want to do anything to it, but I'm down with putting top coats if it's just a spray and doesn't need a lot of ventilation? Or did you brush it on and it's some kind of 'glaze' like paint application?

the topcoat removes the shiny plastic look that model kits have and protects the colour correction that I did on the legs and torso. I use this wash-free airbrush for topcoat. I used semigloss topcoat. if youre doing this indoors, youre gonna need ventilation, something to pull the sprayed particles away from you. you can also do it outside. You can also use a spray can version and do it outside but make sure youre not doing it on a high humidity day or it will frost. I dont know semigloss will frost but matte topcoats usually frost. as for panel lining, i used a dipping style panel liner. it comes in a pot style bottle.

I am thinking "imbecile" is the polite way of typing "retard." Someone wanting to actual "woke" political correctness would not use either or.
"Idiot," OTOH, could be used either or with stupid or "dumb," which are not, either or, the same as "retarded" - - even when Anons want to use them like "nigger" or "faggot" - - and they do not mean "black" or "homo."
Personally, why use "idiot" when "you ignorant cunt" is actually available.

I got the Han Solo Disguised As Stormtrooper figure at Walmart yesterday. 14 bucks, cheaper than a black series. I didn't know that the "disguise" figures couldn't actually wear their helmets, though, that's stupid. Also stupid is their molded holding weapons hands.
Biggest problem I had was he came with three wrist joints and only 1 ankle joint, so for now I just have a headless stormtrooper with only one foot. I'll just say he had an encounter with Kyle Katarn.

NTA - But I personally went to a Walmart, which was a fucking schlep since my area has none near by, one trip was in a fucking different NEARBY County, since I had other shit to try to accomplish.
And I tried that twice - specifically to try to buy the current wave 03 Dino/JW Teraventures case, to get no dupes. And Walmart is selling cases, you just have to ask them for one on the top shelf or from their back stock, because other people have posted picking up and buying the entire case.
And you have to get them from Walmart. Because right now, Walmart is the only store currently selling this wave as an exclusive, you can't even get them from Blokees Official. Or Crapazom.
But you can't. You can't even order a case on-line.

The distributor in the USA is Entertainment Earth.
Walmart is a global partner - so that must mean China - and I'm guessing India.
We don't have enough people posting yet, but I don't know if that means people in Canada can get Blokees from their Walmarts there, or people in Mexico, Chile and the other countries in LatAm can get Blokees (at least the TFs, the dinos, and now the Star Wars and Marvel Rivals stuff).
Someone from Brazil posts regularly but it looks like Walmart isn't in Brazil.
And someone from Canada was posting about where to buy internationally in their country, but even EBGames doesn't seem to be letting you order like GameStop is, and the one e-Commerce site carrying more than TFs is clearly carrying imports in Chinese or other languages.
I think there are a few other distributors in NA but I think they only do hobby shops, comic stores and mom and pop type retailers like that? And no clue who handles distribution in South America because a lot of people seem to post that they are buying from Ali and it's not cheap to South America.

>Misato as a pedo
The funny thing is that all Eva pilots and their classmates were of legal age by Japanese law even if you were going by IRL laws. IRL Japan only raised the age of consent from 13 to 16 a few years ago, so unless someone retcons the history of post-2nd Impact Japan in the Eva canon to state otherwise, Shinji was legal for Misato to bone. Is it creepy for a Christmas-cake to have the hots for an 8th grader? Yes, but not much more than a Christmas-cake being horny for a 10th grader.
The meme about Misato being a shotacon is funny though. Especially when the artist Khyle makes pics parodying it.
>>
>>11781724
Technically 13 is the federal minimum and IIRC is enforced at around 16 or 18 in every prefecture. Also it was always intended to avoid horny teenagers being accused of statutory rape; 13-17 year olds could do it with each other but if you were over 18 you'd still be breaking the law.
Khyle's shotacon Misato gags are amazing though.

>selling toys on livestream
They sell stuff on TikTok and elsewhere all the time. Do they sell toys? No idea.
Since I went back on eBay to dump action figures and other stuff, they are persistently trying to get me to participate in their LIVE shit and I know Facebook does it as well, but I don't have or want to have a FB account.
I'm the wrong person to ask or to know because I tend to avoid all social sites. 4chan is about as close as I get.
>>
>>11781854
if by they you mean people in asia, yes they sell toys on livestreams. they sell anything that can be sold. for blokees tiktok, at least the malaysian distributor, they simply have some guys reviewing and building stuff on stream. basically, just some guy hanging out. they'll answer questions on the products, point customers in the right direction, etc. sometimes they'll have promos and run those on the live streams. its more like a community hang out if I'm being honest. if you buy something while theyre live and they have a giveaway going, you can join it. im still waiting for my 3 galaxy boxes giveaways to arrive. should be either tomorrow or the day after
>>
>>
>>
>>11782072
>they you mean people in asia
No, I meant that there are actually sellers in the States that sell on-line, live. They do it on Instagram (live shows, live 'demos,' etc. A friend I know works as a PA on the east coast for someone who does cooking classes on line and she (the person my friend works for) sells her own sauces and other crap via the internet, mostly during these live shows, for example). I also know it happens on TikTok. I know someone in California who sells auto insurance on TikTok. Mostly to people who need it to register their vehicles or to get their license renewed and then they cancel the insurance so when they have an accident, everyone who plays by the rules gets screwed because the driver was uninsured. It's a big scam but it happens and no one does anything about it.
I just don't know if anyone does it for toys? I know one of the guys who has started working with Blokees does live chats on YouTube, he does toy photography and won one of those Blokee Creators Awards. He does live chats where he answers questions and interacts with people, does shout outs, gives opinions, and he's talked about Blokees and has done thing like posted links - but at most, these are referral links, if that, like a blogger story would have - those 'if you click on our affiliate link,' we might get a payment if you buy something, but I know some of his links are just to import stores that sell things and I doubt they are giving this dude anything other than maybe the occasional free toy to review - just like any other youtuber does. He's not really selling. I've never hoped on one of these when he is live, just seen/fast forwarded through the videos afterwards. Since I don't give a shit about his shout outs.

NTA but blind boxes and gacha, especially limited import stuff, isn't the same as expecting anyone to be interested in their stuff globally.
I don't play vidya - which I know makes me an outlier - but I do pay attention and am aware of popular culture and I had to look up what franchise and IPs Nintendo has/owned/controlled.
The stuff that is truly insanely crossover popular, like Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, etc., is already out there. Wikipedia claims Animal Crossing is hugely popular, especially apparently enough with people who don't normally play vidya, like females and older adults but I don't see anyone wanting to exploit the IP for cartoons, animation, etc. And what's been done barely broke out in Japan. So I doubt it's huge in China and elsewhere even in Southeast Asia.

>but I don't see anyone wanting to exploit the IP for cartoons, animation, etc
you don't know much about gaming so I can't blame you. animal crossing only exploded in popularity, and I really do mean EXPLODED in popularity, during the pandemic. It's basically a core Nintendo IP now. Nintendo isn't even shy about it either. its fucking gigantic now. it also did have an anime before
>>11783335
who are you talking about anon
>>
File: Blokees-DC Defender Wave 2 - The Murderverse of Cultdom.jpg (146.5 KB)
>>11783365
I'm going by what's reported.
Yes, I can tell you I knew the name "animal crossing' but that's about. Even though I don't care for anything else, I at least pirated the last MMPR movie and know what the toys look like. I've never played HALO but I at least know there's a movie and they've tried to reboot it, and that there are toys.
I only knew there was a cartoon released in Japan that didn't make much money. Sure it takes a while to actually get things out. Detective Picachu was viewed as a success and a sequel was supposed to happen as long back as 2019 and there was even stolen scripts and other shit in 2024 so it was actual development, not just bullshit and talk, but it's not actually happening and doesn't look like it will. And this was a very successful profitable film.
Nintendo is either being very shy or very picky like other anons said. There's no reason to expect Blokees to want to do ANOTHER blind box. They aren't even doing blind boxes because of their price points and size of things like Defenders that someone can afford an entire case.
Justice League is a far larger global audience with TONS of characters and even though they have had the license for over two years now, they are barely doing a first set of defenders that are not Batman vehicles, and that's a line based on a nearly ten year old movie. Partially because that movie is still popular in the SEA and partially because people elsewhere will still buy them, as cheap as they are, for Batman, Superman, WW, Flash, etc.
Anyways, instead of arguing with me, or other anons, post this on their FB and other socials and try to get a public support thing going and write to the company and suggest it.
>>
>>11783385
you are taking this very badly. to you specifically, i only pointed out animal crossing's popularity, which the latest game has outsold every single DC game ever made. hell, there's no point to more people knowing batman if they don't care to buy his shit. DC has been in a slump for years. that's not blokees' or nintendo's problem though.
to the other anon I responded to, I was replying to how retarded he is about his schizophrenic Nintendo reddit rant. i only brought up animal crossing as a fun discussion until the nintendo schizo got triggered and derailed it. and for you, i dont know what your deal is. and yes, I will suggest it to them on their socials.

Didn't order Deadpool from Walmart when they popped up for $15 and it appears to be the one that they can't keep in stock, surprisingly. I was sure it was going to be the Wolverine so did order that, and then an extra since they were discounted. But figured the DP would be there.
But it's just fucking scalpers wanting 25+ for it. And asking WM to notify me when it is back in stock is pointless since they keep sending me emails that these scalpers will take my money via Walmart....

Yes, and actually so does Entertainment Earth, both for $19.99, instead of $14.99 (Walmart's regular discounted price), but EE's free shipping requires $79 in purchases (or 4 of the Blokees Marvels or Star War's figures) and the official site requires $100.
IF the official site was selling cases of the second or the new third wave) of Dinos, I would actually order from them because I could probably get to $100 with that two Deadpool's just because - as that's $80 right there.
But for some reason, they just have the first wave.

i cant tell from the photos but is this just the same as galaxy class mandalorian? or is this actually a new scale of figures? if it's the latter, I guess it would make sense for the 13cm champions to be relabeled as champions lite if the champions class as a whole is moving to proper 1/12 as shown with the champions star war and rivals (humans only) kits
>>
>>11785076
Has to be better plastic. Corensupes, a 2024 release, has a cloth goods cape. It was one of the things that impressed me and first focused my attention on Blokees.
There's probably a vocaloid or other franchise that had soft goods longer. People have also already reported that some of the big figures - like the Naruto nine tails - feel a different, more stable feel, I remember one reddit poster or a tik tok, or something else stated. And somewhere or someone else said/wrote something else about how heavy that box and I think the finished figure felt in comparison. I want to say I heard/read the same thing about the SP//DR? There are actual video reviews so that might be it. The biggest thing I own is the Venom and I have not built him yet because I have no place to put it until I assemble some furniture.

I want two of the Saint Seiya figures to have without all the armour and crap on them, just to have two Blokee type civilians on my shelf.
But they are apparently still too popular that the only people are selling second hand, or on auctions, is Transformers, in every class from Defender to Action.
I bid on and won a CT Transformer for $1.25 without realizing it didn't have the front cab of the semi-truck, and instead of getting this at a bargain price, I have just the rear part and need the front or it's a wasted $3 (shipping). And there's no place I can really just go buy that on retail.
I can't wait for some retailers to wake up and carry more of these in person.

So my last egg had the jeep, and a few pieces for the fossilized triceratops so that's cool. I found part of my zuru collection so I decided to group them together for a crummy picture.
I may try to finish some of my TF models, the ease of assembly on the eggs has given me a sense of optimism that my eyes and hands can work together and get the job done.
I think it's time I try the champion sized stormtrooper next week. I like blokees, and even though I'm winding down my participation in action figure collecting I may keep up with blokees since they are cheapish, fun, high quality and I enjoy the blind bag aspect. I like blind bags more than scratch off tickets or buying a pack of cards, it gets the gambling itch satisfied and I get a lil toy I'll enjoy instead of a ticket to throw away or a few cards for a game I don't play.

Plug suits being basically no clothes really show blokees shortcomings with sculpting, a little bit too disjointed. As far as I remember, the prototypes for these figures were completed at least 2 years ago so they are relatively "old" and don't really represent what Fantastic series offer nowadat (they all still lack ab joints tho)
I hope they make tv versions of both eva girls. These rebuild ones are just too outdated

Man, I'm so mad! I got two boxes from a galaxy wave transformers, thinking it was a fresh case, but it wasn't as I got TWO iron hides!!! I went out of my way to get from the same case so as to avoid getting dupes!!

Apparently there are some sellers that were re-shrink-wrapping case boxes, but there's particular seals that tell you it's a factory fresh box versus someone doing shit like >>11786022

China Doing China things
That said, Blokees could be McFarlane, releasing Elite, Platinum, Red Platinum, Gold Platinum, Digital, yadda yadda
Or they could be Mattel, releasing MOTU Chronicles, 200x, Eternia, Revelations, Origins, Cartoon, yadda yadda

>canon
canon is a strong word. rebuilds are essentially their own self-contained story. eva is kind of like ultraman where subsequent entries into the franchise just make up their own continuity while also acknowledging the continuity of the past works

It's not really 'canon' she is in a separate retelling of the story. In comic books the re:build series is like an elseworld or what if type story or more currently the absolute series, it's canon to its self and can be ignored without affecting the source material.
I thought she was just some cheesecake to keep things fresh personally. >>11787001
I haven't heard of these, what's champion class lite? Just blind box champion figures!

The DC Defender Wave 2 case is up for pre-order at the likely best domestic (North America), non-scalper price ($29.99) - since apparently DC is never allowing Blokees to legally sell their licensed stuff outside Asia - at BBTS, especially good because of the pile of loot shipping option, and unlike some sellers, you don't have to pay for a pre-order until it arrives.
Entertainment Earth, Walmart and Amazon won't be carrying these because they can't list them legally. So just the smaller domestic e-commerce shops, none of which will be able to beat BBTS on shipping fees on a case. Although if you just want one or two, they are already popping up on EBAY and elsewhere as 'identified' singles. And, Ali has been selling the "identified' singles for a while.
Got my pre-order in today since there's currently other stuff out now that I can probably add once my Loot timer starts counting down, in June I guess?

Sadly, I'll probably get the fucking Batman chase in my case and will need to either pay half of what I am paying for this entire case, for the Flash chase I want or hopefully find someone who wants batcrap AND - doesn't want the Flash - to swap with me.
Sigh. Not being a batfag in this era is suffering ....

Yeah, its as bad as Superman in the 80s.
DC has a wealth of characters yet you only get Batman. I know that's what the casuals want and I can't disagree with a company selling products people want but c'mon man. It doesn't have to be a deep cut like say a starman jack but what's wrong with green latern every now and then?

They will probably continue to do blind boxes since those seem to sell well in the SEA markets and the Transformers galaxy waves did well in other markets.
IF the actual larger Champion and Action class waves do really well, we can only hope that becomes MORE of the product lines, but I doubt we will ever really see production numbers or sales numbers to know the real truth.

No, we saw these a while ago, they just posted the official pictures a few days before release, like they do with almost all of their products. Action Edition Optimus Prime has been see in color for three months now and it's still not released, be a bit more patient, Sue will release in due time.

So cc lite is what theyre calling Galaxy class with the articulation that the Spider-Man wave introduced? Should have just been Galaxy+ or something, since it's the same scale, as opposed to Champion which are bigger.

This just really highlights that Blokees need to work on their naming.
Makes it damn near impossible to find the correct stuff online in some shops.

I remember what my issue with blokees is and why I became discouraged in my ability to build simple models. It's the two piece joints, and pretty much only those joints. I'll admit to having vision problems and a tremor that can be frustrating but I just built a Megatron and half way through the bot mode version of swoop and having a fun time. But when I opened a constructicon I saw the two piece joints and I just sighed as the memory of frustration hit me. Ah well at least I remember why I enjoy the line again.

Pokemon will sell. I don't care for the franchise but I would like some Blokees of things other than Transformers just to have a shelf with a few other Blokees
And I'd prefer a Snorflax (sp?) for the look over say a Minion or those Chinese hero things
