>>11790497 I'm interested in trying to get some minifigure parts in colors which they aren't available in; is there any service or so I could turn to to try and ask about this? I know there's guys like CitizenBrick or Firestar toys who make some custom parts or prints, but I'm not sure if they'd be down for what I have in mind, namely some simple color variants on things like naga tails, without anything like printing.

>another 50 threads to the catalog The frenchie is really upset nobody likes him huh, sickening, the nulego goyslop isn’t much better to look at either with his shilling
>>11792116 Im sure he has one but apparently he likes the dark meat. I went back and looked at a thread from 2022 and man it was depressing seeing just how much OC has been lost. We never see anything original anymore and when we do it gets lost in the “NEWEST FUCKING LEAKS!”
>>11792122 No funposting allowed either, also the guy who said he would hotglue his pokemon center never delivered Back on topic yeah its depressing how bad one pedophelic shill can completely destroy a community, maybe lego saw people actually having fun instead of playing with them as The Pl𝐚ystyle, and sent in that noncet to ruin everything, wouldn’t be surpising with how much eurocucks hate fun being had by anyone
>>11792128 Oh yeah dude was gonna jizz on it too for the lulz! I knew he wouldn’t do it. I just miss the before times, the long long ago, when we could have a legitimate discussion without it getting derailed immediately.
>>11792133 I remember some of the sagas and shit, and remember having fun being able to casually post on a library’s pc here, shits sickening with how raped it got from the creature, also lmao at noncet attempting to make a pokeshart image thread after seething about the funny word in optext
>>11792042 I can't believe there is a timeline where I kind of hate Lego...and it's caused by Pokemon sets of all things. What a weird world we live in. Sonic and Harry Potter fans are so fortunate to have those cool sets with awesome minifigures and play features. It's already visible for Pokemon they will be making either scalped afol-sets or ultra kiddie-sets like with Mario...
>>11792155 Smartbrick was probably the worst thing Lego has ever created. They're pushing it so hard because they spent so much time and money developing it. If the SW sets' sounds and interactions were as bad as they are, I can't imagine how bad the pokemon will be. I don't even really mind the concept of big buildable pokemon, but the huge size and price they made the starters at was retarded. They should have be separate and fucking axe the big elaborate stand.
And gouging the price on the set that is going to come with minifigures, and how they've already gouged it from $260-$300, as far as I am concerned, just reveals that they're not even trying to hide how greedy they are.
>>11792042 Honestly the funniest possible out come with these sets is them selling out instantly on pre order because of scalpers, but then them becoming shelf warmers because people don't want them and scalpers being stuck with so much stock they just can't possibly shift.
>>11792081 b-b-but... new m-m-m-molds! it's your only option for Minifigs and tiny Minifig-scale Pokemon!!!! (they did the exact same thing with Legend of Zelda!)
released a long side the goofy blockemon embarrassments, this set will shine even brighter lol. are all those lame sets there just to make the one we actually want seem better? even if it is hundreds of dollars???
>CMFs were restocked >half the boxes opened >ninjago guys left in some open boxes >not a single fucking Tahu I don't want to get him on the secondhand market but holy fuck the demand for this bastard is sky high
>>11792244 Yeah man bionicle nostalgia is a hell of a drug. I'm a fan of the original toa, toa-nuva were a slight downgrade and imo everything after was trash. I got very lucky yesterday and found one at the first store I found with CMF. Me and someone else helping me scanned through three boxes, was in the last level we checked, last one. As you can see I'm no scalper / investor though so rest easy about that.
>>11792323 Got any interesting bionicle bits (regular) in your collection? I just got a growing collection of that stuff, even if some ratchets or whatever are harder to find
I hope WB/TT games give lego an ultimatum. Make more sets or they stop making lego games. They're the only successful studio to make Lego games ever since Lego ended their exclusivity license back in 2022.
Jesus christ EVERYTHING Is fucking security taped at walmart even random stupid sets, like a nuclear bomb >>11792391 I see some bright yellow in there, frankly makes me winder how it or the long dead dark yellow could be used to represent a tan or something on a minifigure, too bad dark yellow was a duplo only color, also those vented slopes are bootlego I can tell lol
>>11792499 >those tiny sets for 20 bucks lol, lmao, rofl even >>11792502 I heard that it was originally gonna be an actual shooter with real aiming but that was scrapped for being "too violent", shame
>>11792499 >EVERYTHING Is fucking security taped at walmart even random stupid sets, Walmart did the glass-wall for a while. like you had to ask mommy to open the closet so you can buy legos pweeze. it must have tanked the sales since a lot of those went away.
the wraps are also hilarious in that they leave marks on the boxes so "collectors" won't want them for mint-box purposes
>>11792512 the Walmart near me gave up on converting the entire aisle to glass cabinets, and they don't even put the larger expensive sets in there because it takes up so much room. it gives me a good laugh seeing the turbo tank on a bare shelf but an $80 botanical under lock and key.
>>11792207 they're making more accurate play sets, on an actual construction site the spotter has nothing to do so they're likely in the shitter smoking or fucking around on their phone 90% of the day between the two or three times they have to hand-reveal gaslines/power lines. they should have given that minifigure a smartphone tile to reflect real life.
>>11792291 The funny thing is there's a variant of that Mega Construx Gengar with glowing eyes. Which I really thought the Lego one would have as a smart brick set.
>>11792545 you know how people "collect" Lego sets and leave them un-opened in boxes in the closet? well, people do the same thing for shoes now. yeah. who would have thought? shoes.
somebody who works at Lego must be a "sneaker head" and pushed to get these made lol

I just finished this rebrickable MF alt build of the Otana: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-235703/Tomasso/otana-from-75375-falcon/#details I highly recommend it to anyone with nostalgia for X-wing Alliance. I took a picture of the rear because I replaced the tube the MF comes with with 3 rows of 1x2 clear blue pieces. Even without the minor mod I did, I think it's absolutely outstanding for an alt build (I'm still waiting on my mail for those goddamn 1:1455 container transports).
>>11792908 No problem. Personally, I've never liked the Millennium Falcon very much simply because it's just too iconic, and a main character starship. I usually prefer military vehicles or whatever capital ships and starfighters the rebels get their hands on (especially the CR90, DP20, and ships of the line from the OG comics, which were a mix of the two). The Otana feels like more of a glup shippo, so it passes, and gets much love from me as well. I'm not even some sort of hater but I'd feel embarrassed personally, to own the UCS Millenium Falcon. That said I'm hoping to get the Executor this year. Thanks for your time.
>>11792856 >>11792939 That's probably more to stop all the bag gropers that used to be around when the CMF minifigs came in this foil bags instead of the boxes.
>>11792605 Same. I thought I preferred the ones after that with the striped mouths but after having them both in person the classic stormtrooper just can't be beat. Probably a major bias because they are also the ones used in the original lego star wars game but still.
>>11792562 Yeah, it's weird that these sets don't seem to be using the leds on the smart bricks (as far as we can see) >>11792244 I've still only seen the new cmf series in one place and they were already decimated (no bioncle, ninjago, or robo rexs, dozens of the others)
>>11792042 These are genuinely fine, the Gengar is neat and that Geodude is perfect, don't know why people are so angry that Lego pokemon are in fact made of Lego, or are you all just minifig fags that refuses to collect the actual small figures of pokemon?
>>11793261 Lego makes sets that literally say "18+" on them when are they -really- going to go all-in on the adult market?
-it's a little silly that a toy company sells -to- adults -it's a little silly that everyone pretends the $X00 sets are "still... kinda for the kids" even though no child should have $1000 to spend on Death Star Legos and no responsible adult would get it for them as a gift
I'm guaranteed to get this gifted to me soon, and I'm an old fart that firmly believes that a TIE fighter without the OG glass piece is not a real TIE fighter. So I will immediately take a massive shit on the original build and post the results here the moment I have it.
>>11793273 >no cloth kamas >not even the rigid plastic ones >half the appeal of galactic marines kamas and being snow trooper predecessaors Unforgiveable when they still do capes, even in stuff like dreamz, especially given the mark up on sw stuff.
>>11793394 It doesn't necessarily have to be "bad", I am just not a fan of it most of the time because when you actually do more with the minifig than having it stand straight you'll see that ugly gap. It's not as bad when it's only minor/minimal prints like pockets/lines and such.
they know Star Wars fans are slop-slurpers so they can do whatever is cheapest (that is, sales data shows that the sets sell regardless of quality, so they don't have to deliver that much quality)
>>11793351 >>11793405 I miss when people were still expected to use their imagination to fill in the blanks, nowadays some of these "premium" minifigs are so overloaded with details and printing that it just ends up looking tacky as hell.
>>11793435 I will never understand the "they can't properly print white on black" argument. No immediate examples specifically with black come to mind, but when shit like pic-related exists I really do start to scratch my head.
>>11793437 this is what i don't understand, I'm completely fine with a minifig just being a general representation of the source material, like the OG stormtrooper figure to me is perfect, you can say its nostalgia bias or whatever but the whole point of lego is to be a toy you can make believe with. The amount of literal grown adults that actually foam at the mouth over the smallest details is just bizarre
>>11793514 Pull out the random non lego stuff that somehow ended up in there. Sort the lego in a way that makes sense since you're pulling stuff out anyway. Then clean the piles.
>>11793072 I remember getting my Hot Dog Guy that way, good times. Ironic in how the move to boxes to prevent the groping has made the ability to know what's inside much easier now.
>>11793514 Brushes and a vacuum cleaner at a distance if it's really bad. If by "dirty" you mean actual nasty instead of dusty then into the soap bath they go. But if it's really grim then you may as well wash all of them before sorting them.
>>11793570 I have no clue man, I haven't touched the pump in like a decade, and I don't even know where it is since all my legos are in boxes and disassembled
Prove you're an /lg/ expert and tell me what set this is. Disclaimer: some colors are off because I didn't actually own the set but tried to replicate it, or I did own it but swapped things around.
>>11793072 I remember some faggot at toys r us got in my face thinking I was trying to rip open the bags. I got the entire Simpsons Wave 1 and 2 this way and other figs. Also at a Lego store I had a cute girl employee help me grope and I made a fool of myself.
Here is the good news about Rare and Playtonic: >DK Island was in Bananza >Yooka Laylee 2 is confirmed
The sad news is that Conker's Big Reunion is in development hell, so is Banjo 4, but Microsoft says they hear us over Banjo 4. So here's what I say: Will we get Lego Rareware? Yes, but Microsoft doesn't seem to care about their fans.
>>11793443 They can, it's just that it requires more paint and a slower process. But they have to churn out the pieces fast as fuck now so that's why sometimes new prints don't look aligned.
>>11793978 Honestly, if this one does well, I wouldn't mind seeing other pinball sets based on classic themes. I'd love to see some based on Adventurers or Time Cruisers/Twisters.

>>11794256 I like seeing updates on this regularly. Is the gatehouse just sitting on top of rocks or is it being held in place with jumpers? You can probably add some vegetation to cover up the gap easily
>>11794356 Did you really reply to that post six hours later… early ass in the morning… 30 or so replies later… to accuse someone else of being a whiny little bitch? Lol. Lmao even!
I just had these guys arrive from aliexpress. I am really impressed with the print quality. I think I'm going to build them some cool lego wunderwaffen.
>>11794016 I have no idea! The heads are brand new from Lego PAB, however, I was just sorting through some old bulk lego and there where some gross hairs and things in there so maybe the room is a bit dusty after that.
>>11794239 at $35 I feel like these need to start including a 2nd minifig already. $20 was fine with 1 figure, then $25... $28... $30... ugh. There are other $35 Lego sets that come with 3 or more figures. Either keep them down below $30 (muh-piece count) or give us another cool figure, please
some kind of passenger or mechanic or... something...
I like that they do hairpieces in new colors though. even though that pink seems more like an anime/space color, it's new. might be cool for a fantasy MOC
Wtf is up with cmf boxes? I found a full box of cmf animal series and scanned like 12 of them, majority of them were the peacock guy, only found 1 croc, 1 monkey and 1 lion, didn't care for cat or koala. I didnt find the frog after scanning 12 packs, neither the fish. But peacocks were like 6-7. Isn't it guarented that every box should have atleast 1 of each of the said series? Too many dupes imo
I could've scanned more but got bored and was in a very open spot and got embarassed
>>11794609 I hope they sold enough $300 trees and $100+ other things to finally give us a reasonable $30-$50-ish set
imagine pic-related but something Zelda
they skipped the keychain step, normally when Lego does a $300+ set, they would do like a Link keychain and try and sell glued-together, you have to remove the pin but at least you kinda have one, version of the minifig
>>11794606 What child porn? You must have this thread confused for another site. All I’ve posted are heartwarming anecdotes about my smoking hot, smart interracial wife
>>11794652 This, my most wanted are Hyrule Castle (hopefully somewhat based on TP), and King of Red Lions. It's honestly hard to think of anything else they'd realistically do. I didn't buy the deku tree and will not, but I did buy the OoT final battle (and still like it).
Where are all my bricklink orders. These are all coming by national lettermail (which often shows up in two days). I ordered some of this shit three weeks ago. I just want to start building, but each one of my projects has at least one outstanding shipment.
>>11794701 You seem to be confusing me with someone else. I only have sex (consensual of course) with my beautiful wife (who is interracial, by the way), and I would never EVER be disloyal to her, not with an adult, not with a child, not ANYONE, because she is smoking hot and my entire world and we are deeply in love with each other
>>11794609 they won’t do it because it’s not displayslop but a “Zonai Parts Pack” with plates, fans, wheels, etc. and a TotK Link minifig so you can assemble your own Zonai vehicles would be neat
>>11794603 clutch power in the arms and feet are a bit tighter than official lego. Their wrists don't swivel as easily, but clutch power between the legs and torso seems to be a bit looser. I tried removing one from the plate they come with by pulling on the torso and instead of it disconnecting at the feet, it disconnected the torso from the legs. So overall I'd say worse clutch. But plastic quality feels identical and printing is arguably better than official lego.
>>11794239 I like the car but not the racing style bodywork. I wonder how easy it will be to remove all the decals, I imagine most are stickers and prints can be replaced with blank alternate parts. That windshield looks quite specialised and likely printed though...
>>11794699 I'd love a small simple Clock Tower build with Link and Skull Kid minifigures but you're probably right about there being a massive moon, and probably a fancy black base too and all sorts of other bullshit to make what could be a £30 - £50 playset into a big £100 - £200 adultslop piece of shit.
>>11794779 I like your moc but there's no way it cost you less than £20 to build considering Young Link goes for more than £20 on his own. >>11794775 Why? Most of the piece count will be wasted on shit you could make yourself for way cheaper, it only exists to artificially inflate the value of set exclusive minifigures, molds and prints.
>>11794812 If this set was just Ganon, Zelda and Link it could have been around £40, instead it includes a bunch of terrain, and a black base and now they can justify a £100 price tag because £100 for nearly 1000 pieces fits into the established 10p per piece ratio. So in this set's case, it likely doubled the price.
>>11794820 the $200 pikachu is even worse, especially since its face looks like absolute shit the bricks that could've fixed it rather wasted on the black base
>>11794811 I’m not convinced I could build XYZ Lego set for less than Lego would sell it for. Most of my custom builds are far more than the ideal ~10 cent per piece ratio, usually because a small minority of obscure pieces drives up the cost (also, shipping from multiple sellers drives up the cost). >>11794820 I like the terrain and the setting.
>>11794545 >>11794239 In all fairness I'm not %100 sure this is Lego's fault. Similar to the Disney tax on Star Wars sets, Car Companies are notorious for charging a hefty sum for using their brand. Video Games have to pay a good amount to license their vehicles and there's strict guidelines to how they can be portrayed. This is why Grand Theft Auto uses fictional cars
>>11795015 I think the point is that Lego is adding extra bricks to inflate the price and "value"
take the Editions sets. while they do look like good display pieces of your favorite players, it also seems like those displays could have been a little smaller, too. yet Lego makes them as "big" as they think they can get away with, for MAX PROFIT.
some people think the whole display is "worth it" and some people simply want the minifig and complain it's $35 per player while a smaller display could have been half as much and still looked as nice
Please after the castle one reaches close to 140 images, thats when you can make a new bread so we dont get more new threads, we have too many. Also stop your autism against leaks because there are no shills you idiots, I personally enjoy leaks because I can plan my lego economies ahead to save up for a set (such as the x files or pokeball).
>>11795447 You don’t get to determine the rules frogboi. >stop your autism against leaks because there are no shills you idiots Why lie like this? I’m sure I won’t get an honest reply but still… Why are you like this?
>>11795503 We’re not talking about if I do or don’t want leaks, we’re talking about you sperging out and trying to prematurely start or dump into a new thread. I’m asking, why are YOU are like this? >new thread But why? There’s a lot of post and image room left here why try to generate hype or hate by trying to migrate early? Again, why are you like this?
>>11794552 Each box should have 3 of each in but some retail worker probably consolidated several boxes into one after some scalper made a mess of the display looking for the popular ones.
>>11795504 Did I make the castle thread? I didnt, the last thread I made was minas tirith and there was no need for this thread to be made or the castle one. I didn't do the pokemon one either, you believe everyone here is your boogeyman. Newsflash mf, we aren't all the same guy.
I find it really interesting how you can go to pretty much any general on any board and they all have there own unique little sperg, anyway I buillt this f1 car.
>>11794609 watch Lego blow everyone's minds with a random Lady Riju throne room set. lol
we should be getting sets like that, not "iconic display pieces" there's hundreds of sets Lego could (should?) do for The Legend of Zelda. pick up the pace! how does Wednesday and Wicked have 10 sets each but only 2 for Zelda?!!
>>11792499 We're about to have to start wrapping ours or build glass cases. In the last month a fuck huge family of nigs have begun hitting the store nightly and every night without fail 1 lego set gets stolen. Sometimes it's a $10 set, sometimes it's a +$60 set. They just rip the back open and shove the baggies and instructions in bags amd run out.
We're talking about +10 troop of monkeys from toddlers to the elderly that hit the store like a hurricane while AP "attempts" to stop them
>>11791116 >auction going on for hefty bag of ordinary pieces, very good ammount but nothing special >no one bidding because its nothing eye catching >bid and win >arrange with the seller to meet >2 hours before we meet he says his dad accidentally gave the legos away >tries to compensate by offering random ass lego sets and figures
