That's just SAS's scale, but the sculpt is more evocative of the art and somewhat sharper in general. I prefer the outfit Bandai chose, though, and I prefer how they handled the shouting head (SAS is oddly unexpressive). The SHF outfit is more like what Kenshiro looks like most of the time, whereas Medicos chose the look exclusive to the Raoh battle, for whatever reason. I have other gripes with the SAS and how Medicos tends to do things, but the three (well, four) figures I have are nice.

It looks somewhat better than Jonathan or Joseph to me, but a similar case of Bandai overextending and landing with a thud. Not terrible though. I can see why someone would prefer it even if I definitely don't.

I think my biggest problem with this release is it feels like it was meant to be like $65 and the start of a "DLC line" of figures but for some reason they made it $100 while still including what is essentially nothing more than what you'd find in a $35 release(sometimes less than those)

This. More posters and more engagement means more sales which means more figures. As a Jump fan since the 90s, this sudden resurgence is a dream come true and a new generation "gassing" shows i loved as a kid like DB, Jojo, HnK, etc. is alright in my book.
Only downside is no more bargains/sales, crazy aftermarkets and now companies getting greedy because there is enough demand they can put prices up.

I think she is fine, most Jojo characters are kind of ugly anyway. Imo Jolyne, Giorno, and Josuke look way better than Jotaro, Joseph, and Jonathan. And I think it is just due to their designs having better colors and more detailed elements and colors to break up the sculpt. The first three look very plain without much detail which highlights the unpainted glossy plastic more if that makes sense.

I like her! I did however only pay about 34 for her, so I’m less picky than I would be with a full price figure.
Articulation is okay, and she does hunch well which is really nice. She’s pretty matte and feels good quality in hand, no shiny plastic covered in sprue marks like some Bandai offerings.

Nice faces and a couple accessories with her phone, the plot device and Haru. And she can wear Nyaan’s shades. I’ll pick up Shuji if/when he bins but I wouldn’t pay P Bandai prices unless I genuinely LOVED the show and character, and he was the least interesting of the main characters.

What do you look for in Ultraman considering you haven't watched any of the mainline series? If it's just cool designs you're looking for you got quite the selection to choose from. If you want the basics, there's Ultraman Zero. If you want your Ultra to have a weapon, Ultraman Omega Rekiness Armor (pic related) is a good start.

I also wish they didn't take two episodes to show OYW stuff and should have kept it as is in the beginning movie or make them specials
they could have used some of that time for something else like making machu and nyaan interact with shuji more to make them falling for him believable

I think the first three look wayyyy better. But that probably comes to my preference of larger characters. I think SHF just tends to do bigger characters way better on average. I didn't like the look of the first two at first from promos, but I got Jonathan and he is so good.

And I think Jotaro is selling well. Hes the only one I've actually seen sold out anywhere. It seems part 1 Jonathan is discounted the most. That one has by far the best accessories and could be argued as the best release lol.
