My wifwolf girlfriend gets really anxious and depressed during and after a change, and I don't know what to do. Has anybody else had to deal with this?

I mean, I get that changing is painful and involuntary, I get looking forward to it, but sometimes she says things during and after the change that don't sit right with me. Things like "I want to die" and "I'm an affront to God" and "everybody who loves me is wrong about me".

Last night, the full moon, I sat with her through the changes like I usually do. She started crying about when the fangs started coming in, told me I deserved someone who wasn't a freak like her. I tried to tell her what I've always told her: that I love all of her, both sides of her are beautiful, that I was so lucky to be trusted with her gift. That just made her cry even more. She said something about not even being a real person, then she jumped out of the window and ran into the woods behind our property.

She came back this morning covered in mud and dragging a buck behind her. I guess as a sort of apology. She let me wash her fur, but she clammed up when I tried to ask her about her feelings.

She's awkward but her damage seems fucking huge with strong burst windows.
Her ult causes her to automatically transform when her bloodlust gets high enough, which is only increased by hitting enemy heroes. When you hit the threshold you have 3 seconds left in human form before she automatically transforms. It's an interesting choice to say the least
Her werewolf form m1 is just her claws, but it does fucking insane DPS, and her gun burst in human form is gnarly. A full 3 hits from her shotgun's Slam Fire is enough to instantly transform her. I think Extra Stamina and slowing items are mandatory on her, particularly Mystic Slow and Cold Front. Mystic Slow + Bola lets you grab them for an easy 3 hits with her Slam Fire, and then you can dash in before you transform, reverse kickflip so they can't get past you, and start belting the shit out of them with m1's. Maybe Superior Duration might be good on her too, to keep Bola on the enemy for longer, since it completely disables stamina usage
