I still consider Finding What's Lost (by greenanon) to have my favorite vore lore of all time. I love everything about the story but to not clog the thread I'm just gonna talk about my favorite part: the Naga intestines.

the Naga/Lamia/giant snakepeople race that the series basically centers around has this really unique ability where digesting a person stores the memories. To access the memories of the digested.. the 'priest' (most trusted Human partner of the lamia's) must go through the human and tail stomachs (both dangerous if the human has not mastered the art of taming the insides of their partner), and go into the intestines, where it essentially functions like a cassette tape, the human getting put to sleep and seeing the memories as they are pushed through the intestines. It's great.

I also mentioned the whole 'taming the inside' bit, which I love too, but it'd take many paragraphs to explain that and why I love it.

I've mostly only seen it here but the idea of reformation insurance is just hilarious to me because of how mundane it makes it sound. Like you have a plan and everything that you just pay for like any insurance plan.
I just find the concept very humorous.

I'm still looking for my ideal post vore effects. Normal reformation feels like a cop out, death makes it too dark to get off to, sentient fat is fun, but doesn't feel like an ideal end state because either sentient fat gets burnt or a predator can't eat too many people or they'll be permanently hyperfat.

I don't have any strong examples, but the most ideal solutions would likely be soul play. The Prey's soul is captured by the pred, and from there, there are many ways it can go, some I love, some far worse than death.

Pic related is Phyla, a vtuber who's lore states that anyone she eats with her tail has their soul stolen so she can place it inside a set of robes and a mask which animates them as her loyal servant. Something like that works really well.

I've also seen images where once a pred eats someone, their next child resembles their prey closely. I think that one also works well, but it feels like that's steeping on unbirth's territory.
