Anyone ever been? Might have an opportunity to go soon.

Any tips, must sees, highlights, etc?

I read it's ok to visit the major spots, and its only the borders and rando places which require permits, etc.

Thinking of flying on to Astana next. Fly Arystan has flights for like 80EUR, which is prettty decent.
