I heard laying perpendicular to the motion of travel makes people sick. China have started new sleeper wagons with beds parallel to the motion of travel.

I've slept in sleepertrains with no issue, but I'm wondering whether scaling flights to such a sleeping system might result in lots of sickness, especially when compounded with lots of claustrophobia, which could end badly without cabin crew being able to keep an eye on things.

Shit like having to put on seatbelts would be unenforcable, too. People would get rekt in hard turbulence if not strapped in.

Also, the experience would be terrible, people would be freaknig the fuck out being stuck on such a closed space.
