Whats the best way to share shit from your travels nowadays?

I refuse to be a part of the google/meta/tiktok/x/etc brainrot ecosystem.

Something easy to share a pic or 2, follow others, and have a general comfy vibe.

Only boomers and out of touch millenials share now.

No one is impressed by your travels, they see the sames on youtube and everything could as well be AI.

I just keep mine on my phone for myself (with a copy on a HDD). If we talk about something i've seen (like how was food in X country) then i show the pics on my phone in person.
But i don't share it online for random upvotes or comments.

also, it's not like you can chose your app.
If all your friends are on whattsap, you can't tell them to creat a geekloo account or whatever.

Don't really careabout family and friends, I'll share that shit on whatsapp anyway.

More just thinking back to when it was comfy to look at peoples blogs and read about cool shit they were up to on travels.

Surely there's gotta be a way to fight against AI slop and social media brainrot.

AI videos are not there yet, so if you want to share your experience open a youtube channel and post raw stuff,

refuse to use google where possible, unfortunately. bigtech is a fucking cancer.

What you're supposed to do is take a few pics to show your friends and family, maybe frame one on the wall that's particularly memorable.
Travel for yourself, not validation from others

You could blogpost here
>>

Do any good blogs actually exist any more? Seems its all 'muh top 10' shit with links to tripadvisor.
>>
if you want to be a narcissist then use social media. that's what its there for.
>but muh evil corporate internet system
tough shit. you want attention, give up your personal information. that's a fair deal. otherwise, yes use /soc/ if you really insist on pretending you're not a normie.
>>
You could use neocities to make a photo gallery or travel blog. Here's an example

I know a fantastic place here on 4chan for travel blogposting purposed but you pretty much need an IQ of 130 to post there, it might not be your case

I recommend https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ .
>>
what you're looking for is a different internet before the iphone allowed it to become flooded with retards, not a different website. nobody's stopping you from making a blog, but nobody's going to read it either

Federated spaces? Kagi's small web?
>>
Don't travel blog at all.
Keep your personal experiences personal, leave information that's factual.
>>
I take a decent mirrorless camera on all of my travels, and with all the photos I am going to purchase a digital photo frame and hang it in my house somewhere on a slideshow of all my pics. Will obviously turn it off to converse power when no one is home

>just use meta, goy
>>

>faggy blog for the world to see
>photos inside home for close family and friends to see instead of pictures rotting away on an external hardrive in the wardrobe under a few pieces of cardboard
easy choice

>>
>>2857008
Yeah okay I will just print my 2000 photos out and put them in 30 photo albums in my 10x10m book case. Sounds good

Not a glowing recommendation tbf.
Storytelling is the true OG, followed by pPainting memories.

you dont have 2k photos worth anyone including yourself, looking at your massive faggot. How about 30 from each trip at most?
>>
I hate taking pictures but I get family that says "take lots of pictures!" so I feel obliged. Shit is such a hassle to take pictures of the same shit thousands of other people have already taken pictures of. I'd rather just soak in the moment and do a personal journal on it later.

>thinking 2k photos is a lot....
have you been outdoors ever?
