GF left me. Lost job. Feel like meaning is gone.
Have a few hundred on hand and a car that runs.
Where should I go in the USA?
Any small towns around that are good for loners?
Any nice snow fields around?

Not true. Ive been all over and by far the small towns are much better than being anywhere close to a university or college.
I drove from little rock to san francisco and the small places were a lot more safe and comfortable to be in.
As in, less blacks.

yeah, you're a dirtbag. I'm going to do my best to be helpful anyway: you want that lake effect snow. western Michigan or western New York. like anywhere around grand rapids that isn't grand rapids or somewhere around batavia to cuba, springville to bath, avoiding the reservation.

humble yourself and take the advice, bro. You're down and out, the quicker you accept that, the easier it'll be, and the quicker you'll bounce back.
you're going to meet far worse people down in the underbelly of society on your off grid travels

Drive to slab city. Give yourself a new name like Moonbeam. Take psychedelics and meth. Tell people you know how to remove bad aura. Charge service for more meth and anal sex. Take pics and show your ex your new life. Win.

No it's not. There's even a sign in the Nederland library that basically says "hey bums, fuck off down to Boulder, you ain't getting shit for handouts up here". There are some great dispersed campsites in the vicinity, however.

>wagecucked in the highest-paid country on earth
>has a grand total of one week's wages to show for all that labor
Your financial discipline is appalling, but typical for the obese poor Amerimutt. I bet you even shop at convenience stores, lel

While I agree that part of Michigan is nice, it's still pretty populated. Down near Saugatuck etc is just rich people or meth. Holland is mexicans and nice. Grand Haven is rich people again. And then never go to Muskegon. Similar nice atmosphere can be found in any state across the midwest. If OP wants snow and isolation, the UP is the place to go. Winter will also last longer in the northern states. You'd probably be coming up from the lower peninsula, but I say take the super scenic route up through Wisconsin since you have the time, or failing that, up across eastern Michigan (past the thumb) to get to the bridge. The straight-shot highway up the middle of Michigan is the most boring thing. Source: Have done it dozens of times.

Look up national and state forests. There are plenty in the northern part of the mitten, and nobody's gonna bother you back in them woods. (Except one time near Ludington somebody attacked me with a high-tech invisible nanodrone that shot painful rays at me while trapped inside my van).
