This place sucked ass. I went to Epic Universe about a month or two after it opened last year and half the rides were broken down. Same thing with the regular Universe Studios park. Caught covid while I was there and flew back feeling like shit.

As much as I hate giving my money to the Mouse, I doubt half of their rides would be broken down.

Sorry you had a bad experience. It is a brand new park and they're still working out the kinks. A lot of time when a park opens a new ride, there will be a lot of downtime for a while after it opens. This is an entire park full of new rides, plus they're still working on efficiencies.

You went to a brand new park? What did you expect?

Disney rides, particularly RoTR, have been incredibly unreliable upon launch.

If you want world class innovative rides you are introducing more chances for failure with less experience to avoid issues. This isn't slapping down a B&M Batman the ride where it is tried and true.

That being said, it seems that the riders per hour combined is not really sufficient for their attendance volume. Disney are very demanding with manufacturers when it comes to capacity, that is why their coasters have a million block zones.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop a train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.

So I shouldn't go to Bing Bing Wahooland?

I went there over during xmas and frankly the ride to rider ratio is WAY off. most rides took like over an hour on average to get on with the ministry of magic one taking over 6 hours! They need to at least double the rides. I will say that the roller coaster that the one dude died on was extremely good and it hits my top ten coasters list. A lot of the parks are really well themed though i will give them that.

There is nothing to do. It’s normally so crowded it could take you all day to ride all 7 rides but if the park was ever empty you could be done with it in 2 hours. I’m also getting tired of these loud soundtracks, having fire shot at you, having water shot at you, etc. and the talking mannequin robots. The only good ride is the coaster that killed that crippled guy.
