These are countries whose citizens are fully banned from entering US. I don't care about politics, I was wondering if there are any rough diamonds that can be digged from this pile? Is any of them livable?

Are there places in any of these countries where you would spend not just few weeks, but few years?

Laos is completely livable. Iran is in a different category as well, obviously it's listed for political reasons.
>>
Ive been to Iran and Laos. Both were more developed and clean than India despite the sanctionson Iran. I don't understand how the Indian government can be so god damn incompetent and terrible. I dont think there's a worse government on earth.

The Philippines is a strong contender.
>>
>>2858041
Their culture doesn't allow for them taking any responsibility. They'd rather keeping seething and blaming the British for everything than every admit anybody is wrong in any way whatsoever. That's why they thrive out of their country, as they can maintain their subbornness in a framework of people who work together to create a society.
>>
>>2858060
>They'd rather keeping seething and blaming the British
You mean the US and Israel?
>>
>>2858064
>You mean the US and Israel?
India is different kind of shithole than all these muslim countries around.
>>
>>2858048
I haven't been there so I can't say. Ive been to Jakarta though. People don't understand how bad India is until they go there. It's truly 10th world. >>2858060
I think the government isn't centralized enough which doesn't give them enough power to do anything. Every state and municipal government treats their jurisdiction like their own personal corruption fiefdom. I think of India collapsed to seperate states they would all do much better. That or they get a Stalin.
>>2858066
Even Egypt was significantly better and nicer than India. I actually quite liked Egypt really
>>
>>2858073
Mismanagement between layers of governance can be crippling. If people believe the state is the provider of all, it allows middlemen to cream from the upstream and downstream with little accountability. It's probably encouraged by central government to keep order, similar to in Russia.
>have your comfy role and skim a little in exchange for blind loyalty and shielding us at the top

Most developing nations would benefit from Stalin/Mao type figures, desu. Africa badly needs/ed communism to give themselves a shot in the arm.

India is basically at least 10 countries all crammed into one due to angloid shenanigans, barely held together by the ancient system of colonial administration said angloids left. Now its overpopulatrd beyond salvation thanks to angloid economic theories of line must go up. Of course it doesnt fucking work.
And before those selfsame angloids start bitching about brown people, let me remind you that India purposely oversupplied food and curtailed birth control because Shekelberg&Jameson Esq. told them that a teeming mass of retarded coolies is the way to prosperity.
>>
>>2858041
Anons love to exaggerate how awful India is. It's a hivemind effect, where everyone starts mindlessly repeating what they see posted by influencer shills. So annoying, and it's the principal reason why the majority of 4chan users are classified as retards. In reality, a few piles of trash and some clusterfuck traffic jams are about the extent of the awfulness here.
>>2858036
Laos doesn't even have proper coach buses. Here in India, even small villages are served by full-size buses. Roads are nowhere near as dusty as in Laos either...Xayaboury was hell for dust in the dry season.
>>
>>2858094
Is your image supposed to make india look nice? because it still looks like shit.
>>
>>2858094
>Laos doesn't even have proper coach buses
Laos has high speed rail, what about India saar?
>>
>>2858086
So the central Indian government is a continuation of 'angloidism', and as such, are enemies of the Indian people? After all, it is they who are perpetuating the ideologies and system you just mentioned.
Where does Indian agency come into play here? How much mileage can the 'angloid' blame get?
>>
>>2858035
Half those countries are in there solely for political reasons.
>>
>>2858110
we all agree that Laos is a shithole though. There is no excuse to every go there. You know they even had the nerves to build a gigantic moment to the murder hornets that killed that father son pair recently? Instead of honoring the victims, they built a giant hornet sculpture.
>>
>>2858110
Apart for Iran or Laos, which one would you actually move to if you got nice paying job in there?
>>
>>2858035
Laos is perfectly fine, even for the dumb fuckin naive retards who go shit up Thailand
>>
>>2858036
I'd love to visit Iran (obviously not now), actually looks beautiful, theres a few anons on /trv/ who have been and the speak well, locals fucking love you
It completely fucks your visa waiver application to America though so I'll wait until Im 60 or something
>>
>>2858128

Next time you go to Vang Vieng they will probably have a gigantic sculpture of a methanol bottle in the middle of the roundabout.
>>
>>2858094
>a few piles of trash
Nigga I fucking saw HILLS of trash ON THE FUCKING HIGHWAY! How does any government let it get so fucking bad?! Ive never seen such a thing before in the 40 countries I've been to. Lets not forget the open sewers in India. Most countries don't have this. I could write multiple posts about how bad the country is. Fix your shithole and stop making excuses.
>Laos doesn't have proper coa h buses
Hes they do. I took them. They also have a proper high speed rail which India has been talking about building for 2 decades now but still doesn't have.
>near as dusty
Roads are much better in Laos than in India. Thats how behind India is.
>>
>>2858102
Correction: China has a high-speed railway which connects the Lao cities of Vientiane, Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang with China. The railway was built on Lao PDR territory, but it is not Lao. It is undeniably Chinese.
>>2858208
Yeah right, the creeks in Philippines and even Malaysia are just as filthy as in India. And yes, India does have express trains, hundreds of them in fact. They blast through village stations at full speed and back up traffic at every crossing.

Myanmar is amazing, incredibly underestimated. Just a pity of the shit junta. I'd happily live there with a good job
>>
>>2858289
>Myanmar is amazing, incredibly underestimated. Just a pity of the shit junta.
Gdp per capita is lower than in East Africa. Khmer Rouge set very high standards when it goes to shittyness of regimes in the region, but still Myanmar seems rough, even in comparison to it's neighbours.
>>
>>2858303
Lived in Myanmar for 2 years (before during and after the coup). I also lived in Africa several years, the quality of life in Myanmar is far better than basically all of Africa. Cost of living is better, food is better, people are kind, honestly it's probably one of the nicest place in Asia.

In Africa you got shit food, you have to argue about everything, you can't trust people and if you want anything somewhat Western you'll pay ridiculous amounts of money.
>>
>>2858305
This. Came here to bat for Laos. Iran (already anons defending) and Myanmar. Beautiful country, rich culture, amazing people. Africa has only this base culture (Ethiopia maybe excluded), this shared lower echelon, negative energy culture, spirituality filled with envy and revenge. Compare that to the enlightened Buddhist powerhouse of Myanmar.
Everything is base emotions in Africa. If you want to revert to raw, sweaty fucking hot girls all the time, it's great. If you want to shout and tussle and push, it's Africa. If you want to feel dead at death and danger, it's Africa. Myanmar is on a positive spiritual plain several levels up despite it's political chaos and malevolence

Revised list by RealTraveler™ nigga. Removals:
>Myanmar
(anons have defended here)
>Laos
(anons have defended here)
>Iran
(anons have defended here)
>Sierra Leone
The safest one of those shithole West African countries, and they speak English and have the most beautiful beaches.
>Afghanistan
You may not be ready for Afghanistan and I would say it's a shithole but it has too many redeeming factors to sit alongside these African nightmares.
>Palestine
Come on now. Bethlehem is there, the Dead Sea is there. And they are actually the most amazing people.
>Yemen
Absolutely insanely beautiful, and Socotra? If the warfare would just pipe down a bit
>Republic of Congo
You included the wrong Congo. Republic of Congo is the chill one, swapping that out for the DRC.
New improved, inarguable top 15 shitholes of the world is actually all African countries. I've had to add a few. I love Africa and the odd, cautious exhilaration I feel travelling and living there but nowhere does shitholes like Africa.
>Comoros
>Burundi
>Burkina Faso
>Chad
>DRC
>Guinea-Bissau
>Guinea
>Equatorial Guinea
>Eritrea
>Haiti
>Libya
>Central African Republic
>Niger
>Somalia
>South Sudan
We need a non-African shitholes list next.

>Sierra Leone
There are weird vibes about this place. It was once shown in Call of Duty as this African hellhole where nigger militias are using trained hyenas instead of dogs.

You say it's Gambia-tier now?
>If the warfare would just pipe down a bit
Seems like re-accuring theme in general.
>Republic of Congo is the chill one, swapping that out for the DRC.
Maybe just Trump was confused when he was making the list?

https://www.cfr.org/articles/guide-countries-trumps-travel-ban-list

He mentioned Iceland instead of Greenland several times during one of his latest speeches.
>>
>>2858323
>You say it's Gambia-tier now?
No. But Liberia and Sierra Leone are very different in terms of livability and security. Liberia and Ivory Coast should have been in CoD instead.

Have you looked at Minnesota lately?

Central African Republic
Iraq
Lebanon
Russia
Venezuela

Level 3 travel
Bangladesh

Saudi Arabia
Jamaica
Papua New Guinea
Nicaragua
Honduras
Ethiopia

Vanuatu
>>
>>2858356
There's no fucking way Belarus is CAR tier lol.
>>
>>2858356
>Vanuatu
Paradise. But they sell their citizenship for $130k. Hence the list
>>
>>2858286
who the fuck is talking about the philippines? nobody is talking about the philippines. the philippines is a shithole but its still nicer than india which is a testament for how bad india is. what is it with you jeets and deflecting?
>malaysia is filthy
Kuala Lumpur looks like Switzerland compared to any Indian city. its actually not a bad city overall. 42 million people visit Malaysia compared to 9 million people that visit India (and majority of those are NRIs).
>Chinese train
They have a Chinese high speed train while you have no high speed train. They train India is building is a Japanese train anyways and even that hasn't been built yet. Stop defending your shithole.
>>
>>2858357
>muh Belarus
Biggest advantage of Belarus is that it's not as shitty as Russia.

But yes, the list is political.
>>
>>2858315
Exactly, nobody does shothole like Africa. There are some amazing hidden locations though, untouched beaches in Mozambique or even ivory coast, lovely wildlife in Botswana and even beautiful dessert trips in Niger. However, the moment you cross a village or a bunch of people it's over and it's either shithole or stupidly expensive for mediocrity
>>
>>2858353
what about the hmong laotians there? they now run st. paul. people used to complain about them too but not anymore. it doesn't take that long to become minnesotan
>>
>>2858400
Smallbrain is there now. They seem like lovely people.
>>
>>2858365
the cities for me yes. Complete shitholes. Outside the city and the smaller islands in the Phils are glorious.

I take issue with Laos. Vang Vieng and the stupid flashpacker bullshit is for sure, but there are so many small quiet areas that are beyond chill. Really hoping the new train lines do not overly fuckup which is a fantastic place to go, cycle around and do fuck all for a while.
>>
>>2858375
People who complain about Russia have clearly never been there. It's just a normal European city. I was there in 2015 from Poland and it honestly seemed the same to me in development levels. I assume Belarus is similar.
>>
>>2858405
Ive only been to Kenya (I'm going to Uganda and Tanzania next month though) and I remember all the people in the small towns being so friendly and nice to me. Towns are surprisingly clean too, much cleaner than SEA (do I need to even bring up India?). Only complaint is them calling me mzungu every 30 seconds which while understandable gets old FAST. Also all the dating there was amazing. Can't wait to return
>>
>>2858495
>Also all the dating there was amazing. Can't wait to return
Every single swipe right on Tinder matched. Every. Single. One. The 8s, the 9s, the 10s. And I'm a 5 and that's probably generous.
>>
>>2858513
Yeah I stick exclusively to 9s and 10s there. This is probably what Thailand was like 20 years ago. God I love it.
>>
>>2858533
>>2858513
Yeah I did Mombasa/Nairobi and met some absolute stunners. The chick I wound up staying with for awhile was one of the hottest women I've ever seen in my life, but she also turned out to be an absolute batshit nutcase.

African women are scary when they get violent.
>>
>>2858494
>I was there in 2015 from Poland
Then I assume you mean Kaliningrad. You've seen European cream of the crop of Russia. Belarus looks similar, maybe slightly cleaner.

Russia is different to Europe. Cities (especially two main cities) still look European, but if in Europe there are peaceful and comfy towns and villages between cities (and are usually the best of what each country has to offer), then Russian countryside is muddy shithole with murder rates of Sub-Saharan Africa. You go there with open mind to experience stuff, like you do in Uganda. Outcome of driniking vodka with locals in some Shityansk will be similar to drinking waragi with locals in some Bugembe.

Belarus is much more European in that regard and it's favorite destination for people who want to experience soviet country, but on easy mode.
