Pirating movies is an art unless you don't care about quality or multi language rips and have normalfag tastes. You can gets most of the popular stuff on any popular public tracker but for obscure and curated shit you need to get into a private tracker, but the best trackers can literally take years to get an invite

Kodi is a client and a limited server. Jellyfin aggregates a lot of metadata and can do things like extract subtitles, generate trickplay images, and pretranscode etc. Jellyfin has clients on tv but in my experience you are better off using something other than the official client and forks of it. Something like kodi or wholphin, (idk about apple tv options).

Just because it hasn't been mentioned, you can also use a CloudFlare tunnel, they are free, and can run in a container to expose your jellyfin server to the web

Rookie mistake
Took me the better part of a few days to fully rename everything to proper convetions for plex to recognize everything
There's renaming apps for that if you really want to fix it up

Split them
>>jellyfin can't differentiate between shows and movies
Because the databases for tv and movies are different
>>library is littered with hundreds of individual show episodes that jellyfin thinks are movies
Which means they're matching the tv episodes to the closest movie name

I like filebot because im a techlet
Some people use the arr's to rename their stuff instantly as it's downloaded so you don't get stuck with the naming conventions from the uploader which usually screws up the matching process
there's probably more apps that rename shit nowadays but i havent checked on them lately

I find *arr painful to use for this if you download manually, the workflow is very obtuse, something like adding the entire series then adding manual imports via "wanted" files. I don't think those are worth using unless you really want to automate downloading from usenet or private trackers.
To be fair, it does (mostly) work, although if it doesn't autodetect, manual fixing is extremely painful and has to be done one by one. I've ended up just renaming everything in a batch via cli

Not really, as long as you're sure you don't want to watch it again anytime soon. Just remember not everything is seeded forever, so if it was something obscure maybe keep it just in case.

It's a pain to get shit now honestly. If you don't have access to a private tracker and want some decent quality shit it's a pain in the ass to get some of the more obscure stuff
