It doesn't seem hard, like Reacher or any other macho man show, if it's an extremely hot ripped dude (who looks like Conan), they will probably thrist trap him while we get actual Howard material kino

They'd make Solomon Kane a homosexual lecturing others about the evils of marriage and whiteness.

another IP hopelessly enslaved to Arnold. It won't end when he dies. They will need elaborately carved statues and tapestries of Arnold and cgi visions of Arnold to make another conan movie, it's like a curse.

I want to see an animated or rotoscoped sword & sorcery film that makes everything all wispy and painterly like Frazetta.

This is a great idea, fire and ice is a starting point. It's got to be easier than making a live action film since you have more control over the image. Linklater had the right idea with that rotoscoping

One of the women in charge literally said it was sexist and squashed it, didn't they? Or was that at Amazon?

Read the current conan run by Titan Comics. It started in 2023 under jim zub and it's pure unbashed conan. So far, every single "problematic trope" that defines conan has appeared in the story, and it feels like old conan. This is one of the last IPs untouched by the rot.

Its one show that was any good turned out to be a fluke? I don't know. Netflix owes everything its built since moving to streaming from dvd rentals to Kevin Spacey.
