i want either a bottle episode or a spinoff season that follows the Night Shift team 2bdesu. Would also be open to a 50/50 season that starts with the Night Shift and runs into the day but would maybe need too many episodes to make it work.

"The Jews" in your sense wouldn't include the commentary about the cost of healthcare in the US and the broken insurance system etc, as they don't want those things changed or improved and for the system to become less profitable for them
>>
>>
>>
>>219792964
Think about how many different things in the US that logic applies to.
Aw jeez, we'd better not change or improve anything because then more people will want to live here!
We'd better aspire to reduce our quality of life and life expectancy, pollute more, create more food deserts, have fewer jobs available, never improve our transportation systems, and just generally suck at everything, because at least it will reduce immigration by some amount

They invented anti-whiteness but will identify as white when it's convenient for them, which hasn't been the case much until lately because their other invention, identity politics, is backfiring.

Al-Hashimi’s curse opens a portal to hell aka the actual Pit and Robbie volunteers to drive his motorcycle down into it with an antimatter bomb. Loved the episode. Not sure what to make of it as a finale.I feel like there are way too many loose ends that you can't tie up in the hourly episode format. Would loved to have seen more out of everybody but unfortunately season 3 is going to answer all of those questions with "oh yeah that happened xD" "Can you believe X left?". Character development and actual drama will all be reduced down to short exposition and I'm not crazy about it.

This season is an amazing study of how hard it is to be the boss. Robby never makes a single mistake as a doctor and holds everyone accountable - even his highest doctors and nurses. You think it's easy for him to scold Dana, Mckay, Mohan, Al Hashimi, and Langdon? He'd hate to do it but no one is safe. And at the end of the day he gets shit done. People online are going to be SEETHING he told Al-Hashimi she can't be an ER doctor yet he's 100% right.

The thing is, when seizures come back after a long period of dormancy they usually come back with a vengeance.
He comes across as a prick but it ain't the profession you can just girlboss your way through your illness at the expense of patients. That's how you get sued
>>
>>
>>219802816
I like how he called her out about the "2 senior residents" thing and she confirmed it. Earlier she was trying to make it look like the pit is such a shitshow it needs more but she was covertly trying to cover her own ass. Idk why she's doing emergency medicine anyways if shes had these problems for decades. Robby also pinpointed Dana and Mohans exact problems too.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>219803053
What confuses me is that Al-Hashimi was set up as a no-nonsense operator type from the beginning of the season.
"Noooooo, I might have a seizure while wrist-deep inside a patient but we'll probably be fine!" was completely out of character from her and felt like an excuse for yet another "Dr. Robby tough love" moment.

I had a feeling when her intro did so much to make her look better than Robby. It's a classic serial trick. It brings the pressure of change while changing nothing, and Noah Wyle is going nowhere. I would like her to come back, but this may be the way they end seasons
>leave absolutely everything in the air so each season is effectively standalone
>>
>>
Is anyone else just not feeling this 1 shift format?
No character growth, often a lot of plots/side plots are left hanging
Always some freak accident like a shooting or a water slide collapsing
I dunno. It's better than most TV nowadays but that's not saying much either
>>
>>
>>219803443
yea. way the show drives interest is making the fans try to guess and assume what the characters are doing when they're not on the screen. which draws in mentally ill fans writing up discussions on how whitaker is on prep for robby
>>
>>219803443
I like it. s1 had the surprise factor I think that carried it a lot. s2 was just Robby but the character is very good so it is ok. I do want to see other characters developed, if next season is all Robby again I might get bored

You'll get your winter wish, they're planning on it being set in November this year.
So, falls on ice, car crashes and people eating themselves to death at Thanksgiving and assaulting family members.
With only a 4 month jump, I don't know why they fired Mohan, she should still be doing her R4 year. Maybe they'll just handwave her day off.
I guess the producers just didn't like her.
Javadi can still be there on her ER psych rotation she's presumably going to apply for.
Everybody else will be in the same job, and there'll probably be another med student or two.

It was meant to look a bit off and inhuman. The show has been slowdripping supernatural elements with vampires and zombies (langdon stealing blood, the shark, and mateo joining the night shift cause he's a new vampire. the woman mckay helped in the park is in the early stages of becoming a flesh eating zombie.) this pregnant woman today is an extraterrestrial who gave birth to a blue baby and it's the real reason she wasn't getting medical care. abbot noticed something with her fluid but he kept it lowkey.
>>
>>
>>219803616
They've shown the paper towel things before, apparently designed to be really absorbent for blood, if they can't find the leak they just shove it in around the area and hope it clogs enough for the surgeons to fix properly later.

Did you miss the shot where his eyes glazed over and he started breathing heavily when the patient started bleeding, and Nurse Vivi had to sort of pull him away?

>Shark
head vampire of Pittsburgh, everyone is terrified of his power. Garcia is his thrall.
>Abbot
Got bitten in the Middle East and is a Daywalker. Part of the reason there's tension between the ED and Surgery is that the aristocratic and powerful Shark only allows superior specimens to take the dark gift, but Abbot is from a different bloodline and selects his Night Stalkers based on competency and vibes.
>Matteo
Turned by Abbot a few months ago, hence his new vampire look and superior attitude
>Mohan
Being slowly seduced by Abbot, she's off and woozy this season due to the blood loss.
>Langdon
He was suggested to join Shark's coven by Garcia, but Robby found out and stopped the process, Langdon is half-vampire and dealing with his growing need for blood.
>Robby
Part of his breakdown is over his helplessness in the face of the growing supernatural threat in the Pitt.
>Duke
Vampire-hunter that Robby found and convinced to come into the ED in the hopes he'd notice the curse.

I think its good, the changes you get come from the following season and it makes the start of each season really exciting. Then you get a trough in the middle which lets the individual patient cases shine. At the end you get the setup for the changes you will see next season.
