Mods usually did charname romances, I don't remember any, hence why it was kinda crack to ship Aerie and Imoen. I only found out years later. There was some dude making 3D fanart of them much later (in the pre-AI era...). I didn't know it was a thing personally, until then.

By mod NPC, I meant Valen. She's the faceless vampire that serves as Bodhi's messenger in the game, and got a mod turning her into a vampire companion back in ~2003 or so.

When the "enhanced" edition hackjobs were coming out, their authors decided "NIH" and made their own vampire OC instead.
