It's so BORING using them as a steamroll move too because there's no real thought into your options, hyper energy is basically free and any of the hypers on your forward is more than enough to barrel straight to the goal.

How would that change anything? They already fixed block moves by preventing you from dashing instantly when a focus battle starts. And you can already use Keshins out of focus battles by assigning them to a shortcut.

More of a use case problem - by FORCING external casts, it means that the keshin/totem block moves actually have a reason to exist. Currently, the issue is that because you can cast hypers on the defending side, it doesn't actually matter if you have a block keshin because you can just nuke the enemy out of existence with the hyper's guaranteed win. Though block keshins/totems need to have better durations and a different DF/AT boost spread than they do currently as well, the 3ds games made the defensive keshins last longer anyway.

Ryusei Blade drops from clearing Hiroto’s EX match with an S rank, but it’s RNG hell. I don't care either way, but if the tourney is allowing legends (orange) with no other limitations on players - there isn't a point to excluding Basaras.
Heros tend to be worse than legends anyway, heros just save on grind for newbies - with a few stand out heros.

Basaras are better because of the stat gap but the lack of limits on stacking passives would make Basaras the least of your problems.

The Green Tourney from random constellations had the right idea, though I'm sure some dicks would do whatever passive farming/editing would be possible there too.
Though with inheritance passives, the effect of outright cheating (if they don't inflate the values) or need for incredible autism is much lower.

Almost done with story mode and about to start chronicle mode. I saw Pa is in the game as gacha only. Can I farm the gacha material in SP? And do I need to get all the way through Chrono Stone before I can pull?

The bond stars are only in chronicles (or you can redeem the 1 million copies sold code for a lor of them), but you get a ton just progressing trough it. You can pull whenever, you could pull right now while doing IE1 and get Asuto or Powai, as long as you're in the right constellation, had beta before fighting Zeus.

Based taste for a coach but yup you gain some every time you win any chronicles match in the Hero difficulty, so they'll be fairly easy to farm once you get a team running and start using commander to farm other stuff.

Unme is great, amazing story and he's funny/cool but he'd job against any team with a tactician on the opposite team, Kidou would outspeed his strategy still and I hope VR2 shows him dealing with the concept. I liked when he had to go to the field against Raimon to be faster and more precise, implying a Kisou-like figure on the field against him would be a threat
But I guess Hiro finallu woke up and realized the protagonist shouldn't bland in with the background
