What do you do with this ?

I lurk in on the /toy/ board sometimes and in the threads. It's actually kind of comfy, but also funny how many adults collect children's toys and discuss them with such interest. Some of them post images of their collection and it's just a room that looks no different than Chris-Chan's but the internet made fun of him for it. When you're in your late 20's and 30's living alone and your room is filled with Legos, power rangers, Jurassic Park, marvel/DC and Sonic toys.

Most people put it on display or add it to a collection. You have to really be into Jurassic Park to even care.

I used to collect a lot of Star Wars toys, and did some toy photography with my collection for a while. Disney, and perhaps life and finances in general, kind of killed my interest in keeping up with it though. The rising prices of these things makes them not worth collecting anymore. Star Wars black series figures used to be $15-$20, now they're $30-$40. Fuck that.

To be fair the JP dinos are all genetically engineered freaks, and at this point in the franchise it's not just InGen making them. The blueprint to clone them and their dino DNA were being sold in the black market so any shady company can make one, or modify them to being freaky/fuckhuge.
Or at least that's how I convince myself about how this abomination came to being.

>Playing with toys in the bath
>Taking a bath and not a superior shower
In the US most standard bathtub sizes will not accommodate an adult man, and even shorter men can't fit into them. I'm 5'4 and I've never had a bathtub that I could comfortably lay down in. You'd need a soaker tub, or one of those indoor jet tubs. Women enjoy baths more because they can fully lay down in a bathtub since a lot of them are like 5'1-5'2, and even then, showers are more enjoyable.

I haven't. I haven't really watched movies in the past 15 years at least, honestly.
I think when I was in school around the turn of the millenium, someone might have brought a tape of jurassic park 3 (that the one with the island or something?), but I mostly remember I slept through it so I can't say I watched it.

I haven’t seen The Shining, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Godfather, Good Will Hunting, Alien, Predator, Marvel movies past the first Thor which came out in 2010 and a fuckton more movies I cant care to remember the name of. Most movies, even the ones people claim are some life changing phenomena, suck ass and are a complete waste of time.

NTA but I haven't stepped foot in a movie theater since 2012, and the last movie I watched was Avengers. I'm being dead serious. I do not care for modern TV or movies in general. I solely watch cartoons and anime. I'd say I'm MORE of a manchild than other manchildren, and yet I have a job, my own place, and a car. I choose to live like this, and it brings me comfort.
It makes peoples' heads explode when I tell them I don't watch TV or movies. They can't fathom it. They don't understand someone who doesn't own a TV or watches TV. I tell them I'm an internet junkie, and that doesn't compute to them. They're like "What do you do on the computer all day?" like they don't understand how the internet is superior to TV.

They finally made some cool characters like Kyle Katarn, but man those prices are such a slap in the face. I only buy a few like that stick out nowadays.

Alien is good. Not life changing, but pretty good and entertaining. The Shining is entertaining for how strange it is.

>"Jurassic Park is so dumb, nobody would ever bring back dinosaurs. Why reintroduce something that would kill us?"
>I live in a country that purposely reintroduced the wolf to our ecosystem after being extinct since 1813 and it's already responsible for thousands of dead domesticated animals each year and have been stalking people at night in inner cities
>everyone is waiting for the inevitable first attack on humans while the wolf shills says the wolf is hecking natural and necessary despite being gone for 200 years with no problems
The moment cloned dinosaurs becomes a real possibility, someone WILL let them go in the wilds guaranteed.

It's ok, but has a ton of little plot holes and inconsistencies that should have been noticed during filming and editing. Once you notice it becomes hard to not notice, it's all over the place. The whole thing screams rushed as hell production, and cash grab. It's also just kind of unsatisfying and anti-climactic. I would classify some aspects of it a step up from how stupid and shitty Dominion was, but still not that good.

I wish Mosasaurs had been this big IRL, it really sucks that the biggest sea predator was just a boring zoomed in shark png.

How the fuck is there ONE Jurassic Park game where you explore a dinosaur filled island in first person? Literally how? Not only is there a single one but it fucking sucks.
Just take a generic survival crafting bullshit game and slap it on Isla Nubar circa JP (1993), add everything back that was cut from the book, bang, part comfy part horror turbo-kino where the generic survival crafting would actually fit, exploring a dense natural jungle and the high-tech concrete compound, perfect juxtaposition. Both filled with dinosaurs of course, you could even have a time progression system where they start to break containment and take over the island, it could even be randomized so you'll never know where the problems are going to start.
And now I've made myself upset over an imaginary game that will never be made, again.

It's fun to imagine tiny versions of your favorite characters chilling in your home and having the whole house to themselves when you're out of sight.

There are other sea predators that come to close, or might even have exceeded the blue whale in terms of length. Just not mass.
