If firing the entire company to make the number go up for 1 day and then destroying the company in the process he would want it to be done. Yes and they are still doing so. It makes more sense to go private. This is exactly why they started diversifying their business into movies and theme parks. They don't NEED investors if they have tons of different revenue streams. This is why they merely licensed out their IPs to Universal for them to make a park out of, instead of having to do it all on their own. They get to reap the benefits, while basically doing nothing. Once the investors are pretty much gone and the only ones left are those that actually care about the state of video games, we will hopefully see Nintendo quality go back up.
