Valhalla is barely an Assassin's Creed game. It's just a glorified hack and slash.

It has the best gameplay, best setting, best protagonist and the best level scaling system out of the 3. Great story when it's just mainly Bayek, absolute shit when his wife is in any scene with the worst ending because of it. The DLCs aren't bloated shit too.

Valhalla reuses the same story beats too much and just goes on way too long.

Odyssey is fun but the harder difficulty levels are annoying because level scaling means an epic sword you fought hard to earn is useless if you level up twice.

Origin was decent but then at the end its very very obvious they wanted to make the wife the player character and got told no because she gets all the major story beats.

Exactly this. Odyssey is peak "so dumb it's fun." You get to Spartan kick bears off cliffs, flirt with literally everyone, and the story turns into a straight-up mythical fever dream. It doesn’t try to be deep or philosophical like Origins-just lets you play ancient Greek GTA.

I actually couldn't believe it. In Origins they explained some stuff as the Animus glitching but Odyssey outright went and had you meeting real Atlanteans and the MC you chose from the past being actually immortal via the Trident.
