I've had quite a few similar ideas to this and how to work them into a game (that I said I'd share the ideas of after that terrible fan KH2 "remaster" blog some one shared here, I will later). One of the main ones is a sort of Heartless RTS/Dynasty Warriors style thing where you control heartless, and make new heartless from hearts you steal. It's where this Kunoichi design I made came from. The other was a Missing Link alternative.


It's kind of already a thing with dream eaters in DDD, but I've never played it so I don't know how well it works. I think they could have at least let you control Nobodies when you play as Roxas but sadly not.

There's only one Rosy Dancer, she's part of a traditional hand drawn fan comic I have on the back burner. She's part of a group of "Unique" Lesser Nobodies that have a lot of willpower but just lacking enough NOT to pop out of the darkness in human form somewhere on their own. They are much stronger than regular lesser Nobodies. It goes through arcs through out the games from her perspective on the Organization as basically just a step above cannon fodder, as well as experiments on them by Org members and her own explorations when not actively under orders that she almost can't disobey. It'd probably be a bit like the 358 Manga, but over a larger time period.

I have a lot of ideas for it, and have a very rough outline of the first arc. But I decided I should play 358 Days first before actually working on it, so I have a better idea of organization members attitudes and personalities, as well as events that happen (for example I had no idea Roxas goes into a coma for over 20 days during the events of CoM. Would have been awkward had I not included that). I'm not a modern videogame tv show writer, I actually will play some of the games. It is the only fan thing of mine that actually has most the actual characters from the games, the others are usually self contained. There's a lot more to it but I don't wanna write out too much.

Pic related is the style. It'll feature a lot of heavy shading. Except I need to do some commissions and buy more pens cause boy they are EXPENSIVE like 6 bucks a pop.

I don't think so. It's more akin the KH2 Fire in that it's the strongest spell at close range. The i frames are nice, but you won't get nearly as much mileage out of them defensively. Best general application I've seen for it is to time it with an airstep so the projectile comes out just as you reach your target.

the issue with any kh gachas is that what do you gamble to get. In genshin and games like it you get different entire characters characters with their own stories and quests and lore and shit. For stuff like FGO and Blue archive the main draw is the hot anime girls and they also usually get introduced with at least a bit of story or screentime. KH does not do that because the entire fundamental structure isn't that type of game. Not to mention the limits of they can portray Disney characters doing. like outside of mickey Donald and goofy and maleficent and Pete they cant even show up in other worlds.

You know i'd unironically take a remake of KH1 like they're doing with FF7. We still have KH1 in HD to play so a remake could do some new interesting stuff with the game and make it feel and play differently for a new experience. Also i want to see the worlds in KH1 but bigger and more detailed.

no cause KH isn't any of that, KH is just disney with some square enix characters throw in. As you yourself realized, they're not even put in a way that makes much sense, cause as Nomura said they didn't put any thought in it, they just needed side characters to guide the main KH oc through the plot stuff and that's it. Had they got more time they would've made oc characters for that too, but given the opportunity Nomura just thought of reusing his own characters (and Vivi in KH2) and that was it. It's also the reason FF characters gradually disappeared, cause they also gradually started making more KH OCs that more or less replaced the FF characters and their role in the plot

I don't think it is an assumption to presume that Unreality will be different than KH reality.
The art style is completely different and it is built up over multiple games now to be conceptually different than the KH reality.
The Master of Master even alludes to it as a world he can't conceive.

It literally can't be because we have live action in Kingdom Hearts and the OCs aren't lice action at all they're more of whatever the fuck you would call Final Fantasy 8, 10, and 13.

Kingdom Hearts OCs were normally Square Enix shaped into Disney proportions. Sora has visual references to Mickey Mouse because they couldn't use him as the protagonist. Quadratum so far is Nomura's other art style. I dont know what to call it. Long ass humans like when he went from popeye FF7 to FF8. And they're all based on a combination of vs13 but with references to Sora Donald and Goofy. But Yozora has Riku's hair. And Nomura once said he made Sora to look like all his characters up to that point combined. He's also very obviously inspired by Sion from The Bouncer. I dont know what any of this could mean. Or why I'm posting it besides I have insomnia

nta but I think it's the world/realm of unreality because hey just straight up say it at the end of MoM so that's what it's going to about. What is unreality? Fiction. What does that actually mean? Well part of it an allusion to death which is why dead people are there. The afterlife in real life being a story which may or may not be fictional depending on your point of view like Christian's, Greek etc. And reality/fiction depends on your point of view because everyone in Quadratum is real and Sora is fiction to them. Stories and mythology make ideas live forever so it's a form of immortal afterlife.

That's what I think they're going with that anyways.

Ironically that means I think the world choice doesn't matter since each world is both real and fictional at once.
