Sergei and Reiji vs Roget individually as episodes were good but the whole arc has a lot of lost energy and "what was the main point of all this again?" questioning. Arc-V Jack is also visibly a lazy person who never really proved his naysayers wrong (not even trying to sneakily help the poors in an important way) so it's hard to care that much about what he thinks and says. 5D's Jack in his main energetic time period during Dark Signers was always either focused on something or pursuing it despite whatever stumbling he went through.
Yugioh anime tends to suffer when a lot of the antagonistic force is too held back by obstacles of distance and separation like Jean Roget compared to other Yugioh antagonists that were hell bent on their mission and poured their everything into it, including being personally sneaky and nosy anywhere they could. This maybe could've been bandaged up if Yugo had been in alliance with Roget and he becomes someone torn between whatever lies Roget told him for years and what the Lancers/poors tell him what's truly right.
Synchro was also the start of how annoying egaowashing would get. Like the Lancers did have to duel a lot and there was some thread of Jack having to be convinced leads to --> populace becomes convinced too, but it's pretty shaky. Things like this become way more fragile and prone to breaking once a shounen has to include the general population of a place and focus on it compared to when the focus circles around just the select individuals holding the magic influence items

It is capped in the player profil but it was also capped in battle. Previously you could only reach 99mio with 1 attack but you where able to inflict it twice getting 199.999.998 score in raid duels. You can also see this in a video I found on youtube

you can raise/manipulate LP to 32 bit integer. max attack seems to be 99999999, raise the opponent's LP over 99999999 and then somehow deal damage for over 999999999. The game registers damage done totally in the 10 turns during the duel I think. Guess konami didn't account for players raising the LP because this allows some unholy R gem farming. at least thats what i think it does.

I know that Reptiles won't be good until Mitsu releases, and by then even that will be powercrept or intentionally gimped like Mikanko is. At best it's an engine to use in better strategies focused around different archetypes. Ragnaraika is completely themed around mixing types, Reptilianne Melusine doesn't negate or destroy with interruption unless you have Ragnazero around or something else to take advantage of the ATK modifer, and Mitsu just amalgamates with everything under the sun.
Of course that's assuming devs remember Reptile is a type in the game and not just random text on Apophis
