FWIW the click-to-focus is not great, it sometimes fails to actually focus at the depth of a clicked object, so you'll be stuck clicking other things trying to get it to behave. Also, the DoF effect seems to be resolution-sensitive, often you get your 4k screenshot and the focus has moved. I'd very much like a manual focus slider.

There's a jumpy thing you can turn into a spirit with the new shadow-sitter outfit. Ride it until it stops and turn off the skill then use the jumpy thing to get the whimstar. Only way I figured this out was just by running around aimlessly with the skill on.

Can you imagine every Christmas event having an hourlong story explaining the birth, death and resurrection of fantasy Jesus Christ the Savior where you get to roleplay as one of the apostles?

The issue is that many "western" events have long become cultural touchstones so they are treated as a very loose thematic base, not a specific story to be told. Christmas is understood to be about family unity and whatnot, you can mold any setting around it, you don't need to set the event in Judea. China's at a stage where their holidays aren't global cultural touchstones outside of everyone knowing that world factory grinds to a halt once a year for cny, there's no confidence to actually tell the story revolving around core values being celebrated, instead every CNY event ends up being built to export "look at how great this fantasy Chinese festival set in traditional Chinese area is, truly a marvelous culture".
People are correctly picking up that the main thing being presented isn't whatever the fuck CNY is about to the Chinese people that already celebrate it, it's about exporting the act of CNY celebration.
