thanks, it's mostly the lightsaber prefab that has been going around as the bones, but I made new sounds, animations and the model and textures, tweaked how the beam looks, but with all that it still interacts with other lightsabers. i'm happy with how it came out.

Travis isn't a super complicated cosplay with his clothes alone so I put most of the work into the Beam Katana to sell it.

It's actually better than virtual desktop, latency and quality wise. because it transfers already lens-distortion corrected image because they use low level direct presentation api which not available for the average dev, gay goblin's shit (and everything else for that matter) transfers the raw image and waste bandwidth and processing power on the headset for nothing
virtual desktop is also a botnet which can execute commands remotely from the server which it connects to on every launch, as proven by the incident in which the faggot dev used it to execute denial-of-service malware for the pirates (legitimate users were affected too of course, because he is an incompetent retard) back in the winter of 2022 during his "anti-pirate" crusade arc which culminated in him making his shit always online and later apologizing and backpedalling on it slightly (as in going back to the old "botnet + silent failure tricks" system) after bad reception when even the gaming news sites wrote about it

It took me a year of introspection and experimentation. I figured out which social situations I do and don't shine in and stopped beating myself up, doing that let me do things I truly thought were impossible for myself.

Both ZC are fine, simple, cheesy but full length singleplayer shooters with alright multiplayer addition after you're done.
Metro and Alien Incursion are both fine singleplayer shooters when on sale, little too short for full price.
Medal of Honor got lots of flak at release but it's still pretty good shooter, even if dated.
Vertigo 1 and 2 are staple singleplayer experiences.
Cactus Cowboy series is deceptively good.
Sniper Elite is not the best VR port but it's full fledged campaign shooter.
Team Beef ports of old classics are great.

Hello, today at 19:00CET (2h20 from now) I will host a "YosaVR" dancing session.

"YosaVR" is the combination of "Yosakoi" and VR. Yosakoi is a (modern) japanese folk dance style, which often relies on using accessories.
With "YosaVR", we aim to actively learn dance routines; first we'll learn some actual yosakoi routines, but I'm planning to eventually mix it with other types of dances/songs later on.

There is at least a head colider, elbow colliders, and hand colliders. If you've seen someone bounce it off their chest it is most likely they used their head and latency just made it bounce late.

There may be a hip collider but I think its more likely people are bumping it with their elbow or hand when they try to use their hips.

Anybody who went from imus with 6 trackers to base station 3 trackers. How did things feel?

Not able to test yet, but im worried ill have much less "control" but apperently haritorax and lighthouse based trackers move differently.
Anytime I had less trackers, that part of the body was so stiff. If my knees died, they were worthless.

Everybody i know just uses 3 (4 if unicorn) and it seems fine. But im used to literally being able to shake my chest, move my knees, ect

I would take 3 vives over a full set of slimes but losing elbows/chest is noticable.

The Quest3 elbow tracking is a bit laggy but the chest tracking is good and IMO performs better than a real chest tracker (since chest straps are uncomfortable and move with your shoulders).

Vives know orientation and position, IMU trackers only know position. The extra info means that IKs can do much better job of approximating real positions, especially for legs where you have less DoF and weird movements. A 4th tracker on the chest is not overly unusual, and then some dancers go to 6 for elbows since dance moves mean moving your arms in non-standard ways where the IK doesn't capture it, but most of my friends who are paid, if not really professional, dancers only use 6 point + unicorn and do just fine with it.

I ended up retiring from the LPD. The modernization/sanitization of it and change from Loli to Local was weighing on me more than I expected. I learned a number of the upper echelons of the LPD feel the same way, but I assume they just don't want to rock the boat. I hope to find something like Classic LPD one day.

I've tried it few years back, desu the most fun I had was their own internal larp events, any interaction with the public was pretty meh at most if they don't start slinging shit at you cause loli, pig or a combination of both.

The internal larp stuff could potentially have been fun, but I didn't really get into them. They hardcore push going out on public patrols first and foremost, saying you have to go on at least one every couple months. I had no issues with people shitting on us. The worst I got was dealing with fucking squeakers who need to get the hell off VRChat.
