Xrd is a little slower, a bit easier, more stable and less scrambly. +r is all about absurd individual character options, it's extremely high power level and everything from neutral to pressure to defence is based around extremely strong "just do it" individual moves that warp the game around them. It's fun but extremely swingy, drops happen constantly even at the highest levels of play and learning the game is a ton of finding out how to deal with broken options and adapt to all the random situations at extremely high speeds, as well as just grinding execution like FRC and reversal timings. The best characters are extremely retarded, but the bottom tiers are also retarded so the balance mostly works out ok, even if it doesn't feel like it when you have to fight a Testament
Xrd is more stable and while it still has its share of scrambley moments its more focused on strong system mechanics than individual character options, stuff like YRC and Blitz stabilize weird situations and just the general reduction of old game jank makes it easier to complete combos and get knockdowns, so Xrd has more oki, which is balanced out by stronger and easier to use defensive options like Blitz. The top tiers are nowhere near as retarded as +r's but the low tier are also worse so it's not really better balanced, I'd fight Johnny over Testament any day though.

For Izayoi your main gameplan is to accumulate stocks with specials and then go into fly mode and 66 j.AA me to death
Neutral gameplan against Ragna should be to just keep throwing out projectiles to try and make me move in more predictable patterns and then cut me off as I try to close in. Izayoi's projectiles are very good in that the opponent never wants to block them if possible since she gains one Art on block still so you can more easily use that to your advantage in figuring out how the opponent wants to move.
Alternatively you can just go into Overdrive for free stocks to jumpstart your gameplan. In fact her Overdrive is so much value that it would be better for you to simply just Overdrive instead of ever using it for bursts (outside of scenarios that would kill you of course). Ragna in particular has many points in his blockstrings that are easily punished by Overdriving through them and making them whiff (i.e. his drives, specials like Dead Spike or Scythe, or even just making his 5B/5C whiff) so mastering usage of it on defense makes Ragna more scared to commit to his usual frametraps/pressure resets and more readable on offense.

tl;dr: focus on gaining stocks when possible and then going into super izayoi mode since that is her win con pretty much
getting used to using overdrive more often on defense or even during neutral just to get free stocks will overall be more value than using it as a burst

Here's some more bridget yoyo stuff. it's mostly done. on the ground there's 5,6,9,8, and 412(back and down). i didn't bother with 7 because no one used it and strives camera already makes it hard to see. there's a hold and stop. ex1 is a portable command grab.

i want to make the hold input a separate move that'll set in place for around 90 frames before returning, so bridget can set a second yoyo. but I haven't gotten to that yet.

i been trying to change rc a bit. because combos are longer and more meter is being gained, I got rid of the rc animation and superfreeze to speed up the pace a bit more. i still liked the slowdown so I made it full screen. another example >>555994646 i didn't want blue rc to be full screen in neutral, so I'm experimenting with frc points in special moves. 2-3frame inputs but rewarded with less meter and more slowdown.

the only thing I don't like is not knowing when I'll frc because the extra slowdown can ruin planned combo routes, so I might make the slowdown end on hit like red rc and keep the reduced meter cost.
