I would greatly apperciate it if /end/ could not only help me but be forgiving when roasting my stupidity.
I'm a F2P player and I've posted my roster before in here and the biggest fuck up I did (this is my third-ish gacha game) was spreading my EXP way to thin on to many characters (wanted to level them up to place them on our ship)
Now I'm somewhat stuck and can't do any of the end-game content more easily due to how low-level I am and being that I'm already just, overall, bad at video games don't know what to do.
My team at the time of typing this is Endmin, Chen, Perlica, and Estellia
My rotation is Chen Skill into Combo into Endmin and Perlica, waiting for another skill use, using Perlica's skill and then using Estillas skill that in turn combos back into Endmin and Chen then repeating this.
I know, or think I know I have some of the meta teams but being that I'm out of EXP I can't just relevel an entirely new team quickly enough; I also just prefer playing with the main character Endmin

Lifeng is a lot better than I expected, he's great and really good for his team. Decent damage, easy combo, good ult AoE, good vulnerability stacking with this ult and skill
Ember is great, idk why people said she's a brick, maybe beta testers tried using her as heat main dps or something?
Ardelia is a bit clunky, but it's probably because of the current team, I don't need to explain further everyone her her
Pog is just bad, use Akekuri for your physical teams and rotate crushes faster instead of delaying one crush to get a breach. There is only one moment breach is good, is when you are delaying your crush since the boss is close to stagger, so you breach and then crush on stagger for max damage (but you'll sit at 300 SP for a while for this, basically losing damage in this period)

Man, this is a very unique account.
I'd say you have a few choices.
Simply put, pick a main between Dapan, Laeva, Avywenna, and Last Rite.
Then, level them up to 70. Farm the EXP stage (the highest you can do) and dump it all into them.
Once they're 50+, you can probably start using them.
Then from there, flesh out their team a bit.
Avy wants Arclight and Perlica.
Dapan wants Chen and (technically) Endmin.
Lae wants Wulf and Akekuri.

Best nuke team that can kill mobs in seconds? Yvonne team is utter shit in the overworld.

How do fellow /akg/ enjoyers feel about her quest? Did you like it?

I'm asking the question as a complete tourist that knows basically nothing about the Arknights universe. So I'm wondering, does that quest feel like a love letter to the original? Does it reference anything special and unique, bringing past memories back to life? If the answer is yes, then I feel like I should definitely hurry up and do my best to catch up on everything that's happened in the original game, because I really want to get that "full" experience in the future.

I still liked it as a clueless moron. It's kind of fun, putting random pieces together, trying to figure out what happened in the original game. But I feel like it's the complete wrong way to go about the process.

Unlike most Arknights operators, Surtr was quite literally loreless in the original. She was introduced in a vignette that raised mysteries about her and her unknown past - and then never, EVER brought her back up in another, even as more obscure characters played roles in ongoing events. She was given a brief blurb in IS4 and IS5, but it still didn't answer much of anything.
So Laeva's event is pretty much the full story of Surtr, as well as conveniently explaining WHY she never had another story. I found it satisfying and it brought a tear to my eye seeing her happy and fulfilled - but I've seen a few Surtr-specific fans pissed that she never got a real story in Arknights, and believe this is confirmation they never will.
