Damage is weighted at 6/1/1 imp/slash/punc
meaning they do 75% imp, 12.5% slash and 12.5% punc
assuming adaptation is stacked to 90% impact resistance, this would be a 67.5% damage reduction to shields
Eclipse would add an additional 75% DR
Shields get 50% DR by default
>67.5%+75%+50% = 95.94% DR
With that much DR, you would take ~7700 damage per hit from the heavy gunner, meaning a Hildryn with 28k shields would be able to tank 3 hits, and then shields would break on the 4th hit

For level cap enemies, shield EHP tanking is generally ineffective, even for frames with a 90% DR ability

HOWEVER

Obviously, lower level enemies do significantly less damage, meaning shield EHP builds can be extremely effective for all of DEAC (Digital Extremes Approved Content).
For example - a level 200 heavy gunner does 447 damage per hit.
With 95.94% DR (same as before), the damage would be reduced to ~18 damage per hit, which is fairly easy to tank on any frame with shields.

TL;DR

Shield gating is only really needed for extremely high levels, you don't need to rely on it for regular SP missions, no matter how many times sloptubers and newcuties tell you that it's the only way to survive.

Decendia servers are completely fucked, Last week I had to re attempt it 3 times due to not being able to progress to the next floor, the timer would never trigger.
Eventually when we got it to work, there was a 25 sec pause before the timer would even start.
Basically took 45 seconds between completing the objective and getting the elevator to open, so it took an extra 10mins for no reason.

When you knock down a larvling/candidate, before you stab them there will be a menu floating above their head showing what weapon they'll give you if you stab them. If you finish the mission without stabbing them, that weapon will be removed from the loot pool. The loot pool resets when you either spawn a lich/sister or cycle through everything without picking. That's what the other guy meant when he asked "Did you not look at the weapon they were going to make?"

It's more that he'd have ideas but they'd be half baked. He was great at coming up with ideas but when it came to actually implementing those ideas, he was pretty bad.
Duviri is a fine idea, but it ends up being a chore to go through because Steve thought he could create bloodborne in Warframes engine.
Railjack was way overhyped, like Peter Molyneux levels of overhyped and was completely broken on launch and to date is one of the least fun parts of Warframe because what you mentioned.

I'm grateful for the guy for keeping the lights on but I don't think it's a coincidence that since Rebecca took over 4x the amount of progress has been made.
