I dunno the current details of the class but enh shaman is one of the best open world specs in the game imo. It's tuned perfectly for pulls ever few seconds or so with the way the stormstrike cooldown works etc. Youll kill a mob, stormstrike will go on cooldown for a few seconds, and by the time you reach the mob it will be off cooldown and you can kill it in a few swings

I've played all classes since wod, dabbled in all specs, played the game early vanilla betfore quitting for a while, I do basically everything in the game except arena.

If you tell me what you do in wow, and be as specific as possible, I will suggest a class/spec for you. If you goal is high level keys or raiding my advice is just play whatever the meta spec is or what your guild wants you to play. For casual play I can give you a very good answer except for arena classes.

Good on you for tanking though. I tried because it's fun doing random timewalking or whatever, but I can not deal with the insane amount of toxicity keys bring out. As dps it's just a humiliation ritual even getting into or building keys. I might just stick to healing from here on out. I've always enjoyed it for the most part, but even in prepatch, I am hesitating to apply to keys over 5. It's seriously like some kind of ptsd response.

mage, lock, and other ranged dps aren't even that bad to get into groups with (I know dungeon finder can take a bit but this really isn't a problem). The real issue is M+ pug groups. Melee dps in general? Lmao good fucking luck. DPS warrior specifically? LMAOOOOOOOOO. Anyway, ranged DPS generally has a much easier time getting into pug keys because their utility is generally better. Mage and lock specifically are amazing for any group. To be honest the best key setup possible for most groups is -

Rogue just has the shits right now. It's really bad. My friend has been playing his rogue since TBC and is probably going to be dropping it in Midnight, but at least they have shroud. The main issue with dps is that the pool is so wide there's 20 other people trying to get into the same 3 spots.
