bros the amount of tilt is crazy. every one of these games was winnable but people would rather spite one another (and themselves) and lose than just retain focus on wincons. this last Sona game was traumatic. all four teammates hated each other, kept shit talking, and refused to group. yet they capitalized every time I caught someone out or counter-engaged with an ult. I truly do not get it. the mental in League is ruinous

even in those two losses, we stomped lane but the team just tilts. no one helped me with vision in the Sona loss so I had to keep facechecking to give us a fighting chance. in the Thresh game, we got ran over by Nasus, Zac and Yasuo despite destroying them in lane. J4 just kept backlining like he's an assassin or something and Anivia, for reasons that confound me, was unable to deter melee champs with her ult and walls. Nasus just sprinted at her and the rest of the team in straight lines. I kept dying by trying to peel. the Ryze was completely useless, and Anivia couldn't really pilot her champ despite J4 camping her lane and getting her ahead. MF was good but J4 was tilted and refused to let me initiate by catching people, so we had no frontline while those 3 champs run at us

I don't get it. it's even getting less fun to win as the competition gets better because it takes so much out of me to help the team somehow flail to victory through crazy tilt/ego. maybe I should just learn to play jungle and Rengar my way to Diamond

happy to hear suggestions if anyone has them. I truly enjoy support, but it's such a struggle when your team is actively trying to lose

If you're quick, you can back rapidly and be back in time to match team tempo.

I'd love to play more Bard and stuff where I can easily take risks or ward through odd angles, but Sona is too good in this elo. people throw so much that her ability to keep carries alive and also provide powerful counter-engage (ult) is too valuable. she's even more versatile than Thresh in that sense IMHO, especially if you can't guarantee yourself a hard carry ADC partner

As it would cheapen how much gold it costs to 3 star them for bard. I believe this is a fairly consistent strategy though I am new to the game and have only reached plat. I think the obvious advice would be to be careful about your trade windows because you can easily miss skill shots and be a sitting duck if the enemy laners aggress and have dodges/gap closers
probably don't pair Syndra with an enchanter unless you know your jungler will gank for you. best is stuff that can set up free Es for you or chain off your Es
also, be careful about wave management. it's important that you don't stretch too deep towards enemy turret unless you're confident in 2v3/4 or in team backup or you have stabilized deep vision

it's great but it has its flaws along with its benefits. The main flaw is that your support cant be an impatient retard, but even if he is, you'll be okay by yourself just like any other mage bottom. Remember to throw cannons on his head with your W if you see that he has support item charges and is hiding up your skirt. Save your E just like you would/should for mid. Don't waste it for your stacks and use it for self-peel or, optionally, to bail out your support.
