they are both creepy perverse troublemaking outsiders whose true nature is unclear but are probably only pretending to be pippinses. i like to not have a specific answer as to whether the bunny pippins is a bunny pretending to be a pippins or a pippins pretending to be a bunny.
they both probably serve no practical function in tv world but assert themselves anyway. this is just the rabbit x creature thing again though. the rabbit is drawn to the dark and pippy probably has an easy time getting amusement out of her (meaning for her to go into his torso hole, now a "rabbit hole")
i don't know what their relationship would be, maybe just friends. i also like the idea of her having some connection the plueypins, i think creating more connections between the pippinses strengthens all of them.

What's the deal with the Pure Crystal?
It's definitely the reward for getting all the Shadow Crystals, right? Shadow purified by the cat and whatnot. If so, then that means getting all of them rewards you with being able to make the Twisted Sword. But then, doesn't that also mean it's a Weird Route exclusive benefit?
I seriously doubt there's nothing more to it, considering you can fight the bosses in Normal. What's the Normal Route equivalent of the Twisted Sword, then? The Sky Mantle? Some other sort of upgrade? Just lore bits?

Rushing to grab a hand towel after Asgore insisted on shielding me from the unexpected monsoon of rain that began halfway through the drive home from a dinner date with the meager hand umbrella I keep in my car rather than use it on himself, with which I try my best to dry his now-bare torso off the best I can since the rain was freezing and managed to penetrate through his fur such that it developed within him a shiver that he could not fully conceal despite his best efforts (after I got him dry enough I quickly sat him down on the couch and bundled under a blanket with him in hopes of getting his temperature back up with some of my own, a shower could come later but I worried about the rapid temperature shift doing more harm than good). Brushing my teeth besides Asgore flossing around his razor-sharp fangs to freshen up before we head out for church, and as my gaze wanders towards his mouth hung ajar through the reflection in the bathroom mirror I can't help myself from gawking at them like I always do since he rarely exposes them like this otherwise (in a change from the norm he actually asks in an slightly sad tone if I find his fangs frightening upon catching me staring, to which I quickly reassure him that I don't and in fact find them quite alluring in way I can't quite explain). Checking on Asgore with a glass of cold lemonade to fight off the summer heat in hand for him as he's doing some woodworking in the garage, and after chugging it down with assurance he's doing great I lean in for a kiss only to be halted by him quickly stepping back as he was "covered in sawdust and didn't want to get me dirty" (I stepped forward and defiantly pulled him into a one-armed embrace before using the other hand to gently guide him down for the kind of prolonged romantic kiss on the base of his snout I only tend to do in our most intimate moments, it seemed to express the desired sentiment since I could see the light pink on his face even through the thick layer of dust)

noelle wearing the thorn ring is critically important for weird route progression (see: chapter 4 weird route scene), and events may play out that either see the game end prematurely or see noelle be removed from the narrative prematurely (see: ice palace, roots). additionally, twisted sword REDUCES trance instead of increasing it like the thorn ring does (trance very likely correlates to the ability (You) have to influence noelle so extremely and coax something like snowgrave out of her), and it is possible to obtain thorn ring without actually locking yourself into chapter 2 weird route (just grab it and never put it on noelle), so you can absolutely obtain it without actually going all the way down weird route. this is something people noticed back when thorn ring was first added to the game

I complain about Tumblr bullshit all the time but you guys get mad at a dev team with like ONE or TWO trans devs who use normal pronouns like she/her or he/him.
You guys never had to deal with semi-enjoying a game that was made FOR the tumblr idpol crowd, with characters who use neopronouns and everyones trans/gay. You never had to cringe because the characters say shit that isn't even scientifically documented to explain their gender identity, or pause in the middle of the story to give therapyspeak.
You guys play real, mainstream normie games like Deltarune and Celeste which happens to contain one lgbt or ambiguously-gendered character, maybe two. You complain about the most minor, ignorable things and act like it's a woke atrocity being shoved down your throat. You haven't seen the shit I've seen. You truly, TRULY don't know how bad it can get.
