I've been thinking of the possibility that Silver Wolf SP is the one Elation unit actually meant to work with non-Elations

There's basically nothing about elation that forces a character to have a full elation team.
Being an elation character just means that you have an aha skill, nothing more nothing less. That skill could be a weak skill that barely interacts with the rest of the kit and they could effectively be any other path besides remembrance in terms of functionality.
So, if they wanted to they could actually make silver wolf a break dps that teams up with dahlia on rerun and give her an elation skill that does nothing besides gives her a permanent self buff to superbreak damage so that elation teammates don't help her at all.

Thats because sparxie's kit is designed that way. She has special clauses in her kit that brick her if all the requirements aren't met, similar to how herta's kit bricks itself if you don't have an erudition teammate.
You can easily redesign sparkle's kit to just be a normal destruction dps with only numbers changes. (just multiply the base multiplier of EBA by 10 and nerf all her elation multipliers).
Not every future erudition character has to be as restrictive as sparxie. They *can* be. They *can* even be more restrictive. But the design of the path is quite open.

I don't know what kinda ass you pulled all that shit out of, the only thing Remembrance does is letting a character have a Memosprite. It's a very simple concept that allows the devs to basically do whatever they want, without being restricted to have Remembrances only work with each other (Mono Remembrance was a full product of the devs' hubris, they didn't back themselves into a corner at all like with Elation)

I guess this is all to say we should be thankful they're so upfront and obvious about what their intentions with Elation are, rather than catch us by surprise with the pink girlies
