Yes, I play as trinity when we do void cascades steel path level caps, if your team is powerful enough (you have atleast 2 players just nuking everything), Trinity can provide amazing comfortable quality of life stuff.
Go 139% strenght, abating link augment, Silence subsoom, max range, and you are providing these benefits to your team

>random free energy for your team every time you zap someone with EV
>56m (double if you get double range relic crack) silence radius to cuck out ALL eximus units so they dont fucking spam annoy you and fuck up your flow or stagger you/knock you down (this can result in death in levelcap)

None of these are designed to nuke enemies but when you already have 2 players nuking everything there is literally no point in competing for kills other than to make your 1-3 hour run as comfortable as possible.

Drifters are a messy compromise for people who didn't want to play a kid without forcing a permanent change and suffer for it by being sidelined to various content silos.
Protoframes are the same issue of splitting the difference for people who wanted Warframes with personalities.
Really the games biggest issues come from the fact that there is a solid set of rules the devs never want to properly broach for good reason since they work, but at the same time both them and the community wants things that break the rules, leading to messy half measures.

Started playing a couple days ago and was surprised by how much I enjoy the game but still totally baffled by it.
This entire thread might as well be in Sumerian for how little sense it makes to me.
Anyway, question:
With open world areas like Fortuna on Venus, are there full quest lines? I've done this one little quest line where you stop the coolant tower from blowing up and it seems like there should be more quests and storylines going on but other than bounties I don't know how to start them. Or is it just literally that one main quest and then bounties and then that's fortuna done with?

I don't get all the love around Lavos, his kit seems really cool on paper but in practice playing him more as a caster is jank and ineffective, while playing him as a weapons platform with Valence Formation is great but totally one note and over-simplifies him. What am I missing? I honestly want to like this frame.
Also, how does Mesa hold up these days?

your goal with fortuna (and all the other syndicates, of which there are many) is to do daily bounties to gain standing in order to get them to rank 5. you will be fed lore nuggets along the way.
then you grind daily standing to buy shit from the vendors and sell it to other players for platinum

Its okay, Warframe arguably has some of the worst new player experiences. Just keep going forward and you will make it.

Eventually you'll come back later for mats, or for bounty rewards and start actually ranking up
