Part of the reason is that we might be gaining a tolerance to it since it's been used so much, but also dosage matters. Low amounts seem to just cause mild hallucinations/vision distortions and tire you out so sleep comes easier, but not instant, which is how it's mostly used by CatNap and the Prototype, it's the high doses that knock you out outright/can kill you.

I find it strange they would remove a character from 5 given how stacked the cast ended up being. I find it more likely that they are saving this character and possibly elevated them above their original level of importance to maybe serve as the main threat of chapter 6.
A lot of us agree that 5 felt like part one of a two part ending, which is corroborated by the team saying we're in act 3 of the story. So from that angle, it makes sense they would save some parts of the original chapter 5 outline for chapter 6.

Even the poppy gel seems to have contributed to the monstrous qualities of her behavior. despite its unique ability to heal and replace normal flesh to create the larger body toys. It seems that with the combination of Frankensteining human and animal parts together with the gel. Somehow, it always results in effective but monstrous qualities. Of affecting how the toys acts in the factory.

Don't you guys question why the gel does this, as well as knowing it warps existing things into its distinct biological thing. This literally refects to how Lily acts as well.

Not the anon you're replying to but god I hope not. That would be the most underwhelming shit ever, at that point they shouldn't have even bothered teasing them in the previous chapter if it was gonna be something so irrelevant.
But also, shouldn't the head turning to look at us disprove Bron being 1424? Because 1424 wasn't even aware of its surroundings. Also the note described the staff raising 1424's limbs and how the experiment wouldn't lower the limbs afterwards due to catalepsy, but that Bron is way too huge for a person to lift any part of it.

If the big bodies were supposed to help out at the factory, why are so many of them pretty much useless? Huggy is useful for security, and Mommy for taking care of the orphans, but the only function Catnap seemed to have was to release gas on the orphans to put them to sleep, something that could easily have been done with a machine, and Yarnaby, even if he’d kept his head, would have been almost completely useless, having the body of an animal without thumbs to grab things; for that, they could have simply given the prison guards dogs.

Yarnaby has the body of an animal, and even if it hadn't gone feral, he wouldn't have been of much use since he doesn't have a body capable of performing even moderately complex tasks. The only use I see for Yarnaby is as a guard dog, and if that's the case, it would have been much easier and cheaper to simply give the guards dogs. I can see the value in other toys, since they can perform tasks that a human does but with much greater ease thanks to the size and strength of large toys. With Yarnaby, I don’t see any of that.

It seems to me BBI Lily's personality was a result of Ms. Gracie regressing to a child-like state, rather than the conditioning actually making her act like the character. As far as we see with the conditioning tapes, they're entirely focused on obedience and embracing being a toy, but not so much on installing a new personality. I'm still really curious on how Playtime would go about turning a child into a "hero" like Giblet or having any of the Critter personalities, ESPECIALLY the Nightmare Critters. Spooky as a character is basically a double plot twist inversion of the "Little girl is secretly EVIL" trope. You THINK that's what they're going for with her when you meet her, especially with the base game's ending, but by the end of the story you understand that she was ACTUALLY just a scared little girl LARPing as an evil mastermind to feel in-control of her surroundings, just like when she was alive. She was as trapped there as anybody else. So, her getting a happy ending when the mansion's finally destroyed feels fair.

As for her lacking vocal cords, I feel the loss of senses would make Gracie either go into a catatonic state to cope with her helplessness, or make her Lily personality more violent and physically aggressive, since now she'd have to use her body and hair to communicate everything. Regardless of what we think of Lily. I think we all agree that the nature of her creation is somewhat unique. But I don't think anyone has answered my question. If the poppy gel can take Miss Grace's brain and organs. Sustaining it with new flesh and a circulatory system. merging with the synthetic shell and skin.
