Correct. Most street levels can’t do that even though they logically should be able to, because fiction writers have a very warped understanding between striking strength and lifting strength. He’s still superhuman and has feats that are arguably more impressive.

He has weak basic abilities in his sword, shield and bow. On a cooldown he can 'study' an enemy for a period of time, and if they use a cooldown, he gets to choose which of those to replace it with. I still have no idea what you mean by “peak feats”, but if you’re trying to say that going off a character’s most impressive showings only doesn’t work then I actually agree. Likewise, only taking their low showings and ignoring everything else is equally as faulty. The problem is that I’m not doing that, and Cap does outperforms what you seem to believe is his average. The 800 pound statement is a perfect example of why official sources are nonsensical. Here he is openly and casually benching a whole 1100 pounds, albeit from an older comic, he has a number of other showings roughly in the same ball park, to say nothing of his striking feats, which are usually more impressive as is so often the case with street level characters and wider fiction in general.

People have been saying that Loki is still good ever since he was nerfed but I honestly to god have no fought a good one since then. They’re always the worst performed on their team. But that’s silly. It’s the only objective way of measuring this. We go off of what they consistently show, not what writers who don’t know how the world works say or think. If the results were Cap barely being stronger than a normal human then that’s what we’d go off of. If the results were him being on par with Hulk then that’s what we’d go off of. But neither is the case. You’ll have outliers going either direction, but the end consistent result is someone above anything irl, to say nothing of his other stats like durability and reaction time which are absolutely more impressive than anything anyone could hope to replicate.

This is arguing semantics at this point. His strength is superhuman and it is consistent. His durability is superhuman and this is consistent. His speed and reaction time is superhuman and this is consistent. The only context he’s peak human in is within Marvel, but his kit is basically all around enhanced stats beyond what any average joe in marble and anyone irl can normally accomplish and is blatantly superhuman by every metric. What the characters show and display takes precedence over any official data book statements or wonky author statements. Like I said, outliers exist both ways, but on the whole you have a picture of a guy no one can measure up to.

I kind of picked up on its behavior because it makes no sense that despite me having some REALLY good matches that I only get +20 and maybe on uncommon wins +21 and that's if I got MVP and went 50/x/x.
I think this game's matchmaking and point system is so fundamentally flawed that one of two things is happening
either
- the game deems you to be in your rank or peak percentage, so it reinforces this by making sure you're not moving too quickly upwards which is entirely fine but needs tuning to not feel like shit when you lose
or
- its intentionally gauging your skill rating by your recent match history
And I'm beginning to think It's the latter, because it doesn't make sense that you sometimes do literally nothing and get the same exact points as someone who was doing good.

You are not understanding how impressive it is to smash concrete. Those don’t even remotely compare. To visibly crater it like that using one hand and someone else’s head (meaning he’d actually have to impart even more force because something else is absorbing the impact) you’d need to output force in the thousands of pounds at a pound. Assuming that’s commercial grade concrete, it would have to be in the range of 3000-4000 psi. At an impact area of about 4-8~ inches he’d have to be able to apply roughly 32736 pounds of force, logically, this is actually enough to bench press multiple entire cars, but as i’ve said, authors don’t understand striking strength and lifting strength and consider two different things, so he can’t do the latter, but it’s still way beyond even what professional fighters can dream of putting out. Also worth mentioning that those people who break that stuff are using tension to help, which is pretty different from shattering the ground or a wall.
