Arguably in modern bleed teams Gregor/Outis are holding Don back but Meursault/Rodion's buffs are core to her. So it will really depend on how good the new Ring IDs are on whether or not you want to keep Don or split into Ring Teams and Bloodfiend Teams.

Here is a comparison of Hong Lu's "Closing Time" (usable once ever) vs Yi Sang's "Furioso-Replica" after he's reached his phase 2.
It assumes that both of them have reach their max conditionals for their skills. In Yi Sang's case it assumes he uses each weapon type once in an "ideal" order (so his damage can be significantly higher than this).
One thing to note is that Yi Sang's is an unfocused Volley so his damage is divided among his attack weight targets while Hong Lu's damage is lower per target and multiplied by having more targets so in practice his damage would be lower not accounting for Mirror Dungeon gifts.
If you somehow had butterfly inflicted on a target (Gregor's EGO) then Yi Sang's damage could get significantly higher. Though this assumes ridiculously ideal circumstances
Their damage can be further improved by various passives. Anyway, Index wins again.
