Pramanix Alter is a flexible caster, Main job is be an absolutely ridiculous afk caster with s2, if you can survive the doing nothing phase, S3 is probably one of the more damaging skills in the game so yeah.
(S2 for trash, S3 if you can't use s2 fast enough or a few elites).
Virtuosa is completely outclassed by tragodia, all she got is her s1 procing elemental burst in one use, but tragodia got like 3 layers of CC, a more useful element, and a kot.
Wis'adel is still good, s2 for IS, s3 in general, and it breaks your fingers less than Wang anyway.
Lappland alter still completely ignores big maps like RA2 or Bastion Defense, and still wipes the map out.
Honestly my tier list would be something like this in an ideal account.
Silverash -> wisaduh -> lapp2 --------> Virtuosa.
Silverash might be way weaker on your account right now than a wisadel, as it acts more as an enabler of your squad, but long term, good vanguards are extremely hard to powercreep.

1. Very, for a basic demonstration find a Pram2 off support and deploy her after your vanguard on S2, then watch as she floods the map with 30+ tiles of snow that do five different things. A lot of slow and solid aoe damage, mostly.
2. All of those are great for different reasons and you couldn't go wrong with any of them unless you have holes in your roster, I dunno I'd just pick whoever is cool. Personally Lappy is my favorite of the bunch, ignoring SA who I have no experience with.

If you're rolling for meta purpose then just wait until Wang since he's basically just art damage Wis'adel on crack.
SAlter is the best Vanguard right now so try to get him if you can.

S2, it's by far what you'll use more. Larger % of her attack converted to buff means she does her actual job more and it does a bunch of other nice stuff too
S1 is the kind of thing you can potentially bring if you already know it will exploit a mechanic/enemy but I'm not actually sure how valuable that is compared to just slamming your problems with a million damage. It can potentially supercharge fever in the right circumstance but Mutsumi already exists for that, it's best use defensively might be with non-Mujica ops against DoTs or something but I dunno, medics exist (unless it's IS maybe). Or if a specific stage needs range extension in IS and you don't have Umiri it can be handy, but that'll work almost just as well without mastery since you might not even be using the smaller atk buff for Saki there
Which is a whole lot of words to say I've used S1 for a single stage once.

Anything that says "movement reduction" stacks with everything else. Named "Slow" is a status effect and form of movement reduction, but does not stack with itself as you can only have one instance of the status effect at a time. So Mostima will force goons to suffer time fuckery as they also trudge through a mile of ice and snow, as both effects are movement reduction.
Pram S2 seems pretty self explanatory once you use it. Lethal as hell snow everywhere while she, as an archetype with high stats normally not allowed to attack, is allowed to constantly attack with a massive atk buff.
S1 seems like you need relics to really make it work? Or a good eye for enemy weights and how/when to push, which I lack. Seems fun tho. Her heightened defenses will stay up permanently which could let her be a regenerating ranged tank if SA2 is on the field.
S3 I'm mastering right now and I dunno, lure+bomb button, need to try it more, lure is strong

It's borderline impossible to tell a consistently quality story when it can never ever ever end and needs to introduce multiple new main characters every chapter. Gacha as a format inherently does not lend itself to storytelling, or rather devs adopt features that clash with the narrative simply because it's what other games did, instead of finding ways to make mechanics and writing work in tandem. Right from the start, it's silly you need to randomly recruit characters who are canonically already working for you without any rationale. And when little subconscious bumps like these pile up it's no wonder the average gacha player chooses to disengage with writing and simply headcanon it while enjoying the cute girls. Story is the framework that gives gacha its identity but it isn't worth heavily investing cash into; it's a passion outlet and vibe check for the staff.

When lords attack at melee, they have a different animation. That deals 100% damage. When lords attack at range, they use another animation of a ranged attack. That deals 80% damage. Most skills remove this penalty. For example with Thorns skin it's quite visible.
