I think it's the events that make the drip feed content feel so bad. All the events are literal janny chores that take 2 seconds to complete. It's not like FGO or Azur Lane where they're repeatable grinding events that shit out resources. Also there's no real way to save sanity anyway so it wouldn't matter even if they had real events.

I have literally never been strapped for materials in Wuwa since the very first two patches of the game on anything. The only exception is when new regions launch and you have to farm all the skill mats for new characters. Even with just 3 good substats including double crit on echoes you clear all content in the game easily and that takes less than a week per character(and you don't even have to spend sanity most of the time because of the daily free nests)

In that game most of your sanity as a dolphin is prefarming for the next girl, not farming echoes unless you're autismo maxing a single character.
