Each chapter has a different person narrating their own self-contained story, it's pretty easy to deduce who is speaking in each of them, I did want to do a magolor chapter but honestly I didn't know what to do with him given that the ancients were indisposed, same with marx since no nova would put him in an awkward position, I did also consider adeline but...ehhh.
speaking of them, they were turned into horrors it's an idea I had for ages of insomnia being a driving force for evil sort of hivemind, if I was gonna make a Kirby antagonist that's something I'd play with, over all I am happy with how it turned out.

That’s all I have thought up for it now, but some lingering ideas I have is that eventually these “Atlanteans” did something similar to the Dwemer and accidentally unmade themselves while doing experimentation or whatever, leaving the cities unpopulated save for their cyborg vanguard.
Another idea tying into another idea someone else proposed is a secret area containing successful, housebroken clones of Fecto Elifis in stasis, that the Atlanteans were going to unveil as the next generation of the city’s vanguard, but disappeared themselves before they were able to release them, almost certainly for the better.
