Thank you for clarifying this. I suspect it is actually just Ore as in the base metal, given that the text seems to differentiate the two on a re-read.

Fortunately no longer an issue because I finally put that old cold fart in the ground and unlocked the Hexolite mining facility, but annoying that I condensed one and got nothing for it.

As >>2208233 said, using aoes to take out massive amounts of rocks is excellent, especially with 2-3x ore yield from the partner skill. It effectively obsolete since ore mining sites were added in 0.2 since those unlock long before you can reasonably get and max an astegon. Mammorest technically is nice since aoes with that also easily destroy trees and mining spots but again by the time you can use it for that you likely already have mining sites up and running. And it doesn't have any yield increases.

Is Palworld that much of a speedrun game that the early game hardly matters?
Like sure, a lot of pals are outclassed by the bigger and badder pals, but i think a lot of the early pals can still carry their weight for the later parts of the game.

All of the low-hanging fruits from Yugioh, like Dark Magician and Girl, Curse of Dragon, Summoned Skull, Feral Imp, etc. You could even do the Gate Guardian/Exodia thing with 5 rare Pals that make one giant raid boss when you have them all on your team at the same time.

It seems the issue was that I cleared space before stopping the server, which caused it to overwrite every config file to its default state.
All that has been restored but I don't want to risk a bunch of structure degrading and lost pals so I had to restore back to the same backup. So anything done since then is going to be gone hopefully that isn't a big deal because there's no way to merge that.
It should be good now, I'm working on the save size.

I had to do the edge of the ocean cheese with spawn buffs to get Cattiva and Foxparks to show up and it still took almost an hour. Think I have 70 or so tattered cloth with all the goblin scouts that I killed. Chillet is indeed a qt I agree.

As of right now the server should be fixed unless you see any issues.
Any problems now would be persistent issues not related to the crash because it was a full restore from the 2nd at 4am utc.

In that case I want the middle-hanging fruit from ygo like Trishula, Leo Dancer and Traptrix Myrmeleo. We have no hydra-dragons (that I can think of) and no venus flytraps or other disguised pals besides Mimog, who runs away instead of ambushing. A dervish catgirl would be fine too.
An Aleister-like tower boss that goes through different forms and pals at different HP thresholds would be cool.
