Gamma seems to be better at killing groups but mactera become suffering.
HH (Heil Hitler) can dispatch these in 2 shots, unless its a brindle... And the projectile travel time makes hitting stuff at range kinda hard.

with HH I just take a charged sludge shit all over the floor, then double tap the green acid diarrhea and turn my back on the bugs, they're already dead, they just don't know it yet.
with GC I still need to tag all bugs and the proc rate is only 25% so sometimes you don't even proc it before they die.

Which is why I never revive players who use Steeve unless it's convenient for me. Using Steeve is one of the best signs that the player is a shitter and isn't worth picking up. You wanna stay alive so badly? Teach your bug to give you chest compressions scrub, or better yet take a useful perk instead of the one where you create a bug that does nothing but get in the way or runs off to 1v1 a grunt a mile away while you're getting a train run on you by slashers.

You know I thought the entire mission was finding one giant rock and going through an entire cave for it but it's more like 4 medium sized rocks. No, since season 6 was made by a third party studio the devteam agreed they won't change balance.
Regarding the new season after like 3 hours of gameplay:
+ new framework is clean, I like it
+ new zone looks good
- seasonal event is boring as fuck, it generates the nearly exact same side room each time
- new mission type feels like half a mission, you'd expect some epic chungus ending but it just abruptly ends. its basically HALF of the resonance scan mission
- trapjaws are barely visible, who thought it was good idea to make brown enemies burried in brown ground?
Season feels very underwhelming, I'll probably just speedrun my way till level 100 season pass and drop it to come back for seaon 7 in 2029.

Not only is the new mission half assed, it's basically the drillevator only minus the drillevator. It really needs a part 2 of some kind, potentially a boss. And I don't say that just because I want to shoot a big enemy, it'll help differentiate it from drillevator missions.

Nailed it. I'll add that the scrabs are honestly pretty lame. They barely attack, and feel like filler enemies. I mean I started playing today and I already downed 1800 of them, while they did barely any damage to me.
The lack of even a single new OC hurts a lot tho, there are no gameplay changes except that now you gotta watch out for cancer laying underground.

I already almost always run with Heightened Senses, but with pit jaws that shit is absolutely mandatory. Saved my ass multiple times.
Anyway I'm confident pit jaws will receive some nerf soon enough. The fact that they don't outright kill you differently from leeches tells that they realized it was too much. I think they wouldn't even be THAT bad if they went down easily. The fact that they escape is pure bullshit.

Pretty much except one big difference. That issue is that they dont die to pickaxe hits instantly like robots (they are weak to melee) so you need to waste bullets or powerpick on them. On top of that lack of weakness they have hard (maybe med?) strippable armor.

For me it always waits until after a swarm finishes to load me in, and I've got more than up to date hardware for this 2018 game. I think the game is just poorly optimized (shocker) and queues loading in players until after the swarm event happens because it's easier on the host or smth

quite good and works extremely well with the conductive bullets upgrade in t5
it's honestly a lot better than you'd think, because things you'd expect to be weakpoints actually aren't (like praet asses) unless you have the weakpoint upgrade, which actually just makes your damage similar to the base dmg of gas recycling
just remember that t3 accuracy is basically mandatory on all zhukov builds and the other option is a trap

Melee is only really worth it to finish off a bug when its the only thing left around or safe to do so.

For whatever reason, everyone ignores the drones it spawns, and they do enough dmg to 1-shot anyone on the team on higher hazards. They're not even tanky, I think people are just too used to engineer turrets taking them out to realize they even exist.
You can ping each layer of the tower to check what its loadout is before everyone inserts the batteries and activates it. If you see the drone replicator, don't hesitate to warn everyone about it.
Do not rely on the engineer to place platforms above the pads at the correct height, the plasma caster will melt through the platforms and drop you into its range if the engineer doesn't place them high enough, and if he places them too high, you can't activate the DDR pads to reveal the tower's weakpoints.
You only need to stand on the pad to unlock a layer's weakspots, you don't need to stay standing on it. Once they're revealed, they stay revealed for about 5-10 seconds or so, during which point you can dodge or reposition.
You can call molly onto one of the pads or deploy a resupply right next to one to avoid the plasma caster's lines, while still being within viable range of the DDR pad's detection, no engineer platform autism required.

piss easy if you have an engie who knows how to do the plat setup or you call resups on the buttons. the ankle slicer is always the button opposite the key. blow that up first and the other two are trivial. you can see what the other 2 are by pinging it with your laser. c4 is also very good on omen if you can get all 3 layers open at the same time.

Temp shock is overkill on grunts and underkill on praetorians. Temp shocking frozen enemies is bad because you do not want to remove the freeze debuff for a meager amount of damage, and while temp shock with the flamethrower is better, any enemy that is still alive is going to need heat to be reapplied each time you do it.
It is not outright bad, but there are better options.

Looks like it. I don't think you can get to that level in only 3000 hours, especially while single-dwarfing, and especially after LegIV that requires a huge amount of exp to rank up. I'm at 2700 hours and I'm struggling to get to 1000 (currently at 900).

To be fair to the dev team, the number of times I've seen the entire team wipe because they mindlessly ran off the drop pod and fell into an exposed cavern is way too damn high. And I exclusively play haz 4 and higher.

Cheating is always a possibility, but I can see it being legit if Driller is all he plays. I started playing in 2021. I sat out the entirety of Season 2 and most of Season 4. Despite this, I'm around Legend 20 on all my classes except Scout who's at 32. If he played consistently throughout the years with the occasional focus on Double XP, I can see it being real. Pretty autistic to do so though.

I've been playing since 2019. 3300hrs, most of it logged during covid, though DRG is still my favorite multiplayer game and I regularly play it since it's easy to dip in and out of when I have free time.
I didn't promote dwarves for a long time BUT I also regularly play on modded servers where you level up after 3-4 missions so my time to level ratio is a little skewed BUT that doesn't really affect class/player level since you stop going up in blue levels if you don't promote.

So is the guy legit? I am, and the total levels (1887) don't really match up with the promoted levels (204) in my opinion, since I'm 2615 blue/239 total which means he's got a ratio of (1887/204=) 9.25 to my (2615/239=) 10.94. Unless levelling was different a few years ago or all the way back in 2019 and you still gained player levels when you stopped promoting (which I don't think was ever the case), he should be in the 10.xx range.
That's just my take on it, I could totally be talking out my ass, but I would say there's been some file editing on their part.

No it's not a matter of muh skill they're just badly designed for the game period. Leeches at least have audio cues which increases when they target you and they take a few seconds to grab you depending on how high up they are. Jaws are just cheap gotcha enemies.
