This game is finally releasing today after what, 10+ years..at the very least, should be interesting to see how this goes. Anyone gonna be playing?

Haha yeah I can see that. I've always been on the fence about curses. On one hand, its an interesting mechanic. On the other, seems like it punishes people for exploring or "testing the waters". I'd rather the curses just be for fun things that are just cosmetic until dispelled. Instead of annoying things like transformations. Luckily dispels aren't too hard to come by, but yeah I'm not a fan of those either. Pop isn't high enough for them.

lol. So crazy how common of a story that is with all these indie games. Hell, seems like game development overall has been running into this situation. "We ran out of money during development" seems to be a recurring theme among so many releases. Don't know how they did it in the 90s and early 2000s. Crazy to see what they pushed out on the budgets they had.

He particularly had a history of this. If you don't know McQuaid, he was the main dude behind Everquest. He already tried this with Vanguard in the 2000s. Pantheon was just his next literal grift.

You're warned about curses and the animal transformations aren't that bad to solve.

If the Devs weren't autists and pooled their resources together they could've produced a great game but made 5 lacking games instead. If Gorgon had 15 Devs from 2015 the game would be vastly superior in nearly everyway.
