I had fun on the hatch event because of the quests, i somehow knew one would need to do all the quest for some final reward so i focused on completing them, specially the quests that required you to merge many, MANY eggs of the most basic quality, so what i did was to trade higher tier eggs for 3-4 of the lower quality ones before people realized about the merging requirements, after that it was fun to troll and take advantage of those who were desperate to complete the quests.
Also there were some games who put lots of effort into their event participation, it is always nice to see that, specially when a game you never expected anything from surprises you with a great event like the musical chairs one, wasnt expecting a cool boss fight out of such a silly game.
