Its not their fault the game did poorly, as another anon said, companies tell the team way in advance when they want to shut down a game. Orwin just really did not get a chance for players to know him, and its a very small minority of players that got to care about him, while the dev's themselves just barely got a chance to get him out the door. Sure theres the manga now, but that was way after the game and is also niche.
It just would have made no sense for Asteria to give him anything when players barely know him and he just barely got any development, and they're not going to devote an arc to introduce him and essentially rewrite his plot in a completely different world where the sin stuff doesnt even exist, i.e. who the hells gonna pull for him? Rays would have been the opportunity to maybe give him a decent introduction, but even then it wouldnt have been that deep because event scenes arent that deep or long, and also EoS. At the end of the day, blame Bamco and the gacha obsession.

I believe it’s based on how many characters you have unlocked. As soon as I unlocked Schwartz, I got an extra 10 points. My roster is also at 270 characters, and my bonus is 270%

This grind event is the event to buy out the 3rd LB crystal vouchers so you can get units to level 80. The other events weren’t really giving us many of those, and the event shop lets you buy them infinitely.

Take note that once you hit a certain threshold, the event shop will give an error message if you try to exchange anything.

All gachas die sooner or later, thats just the system for it. Even ones for big animes like DB or OP will die off eventually or purposely get replaced with a newer game. JP versions of games usually last longer, like in Rays case. At the end of the day, like any game, they are just time wasters, and you shouldn't invest much into them except for when your sitting around bored.

I'm still convinced that if they made a console version they'd have to completely remake the progression system. I have not played any of the games you guys listed, but I doubt they are 1-to-1 exactly the same as their mobage counterparts.
The live service system does not work offline. You can't have 100+ tabs of events, each with their individual shops and currencies that the game expects you to repeatedly grind. The biggest offender would be raids being impossible to do by yourself.
How would the gacha even work if they left it in? Would you have a banner for each event? You'd have like 100+ more tabs to scroll through. Put everything in one banner? There's 250+ characters each with 10-30 items, it'd be impossible to get a specific arte you want.
They could possibly get rid of the gacha and let you unlock artes through levels or something which would require a entirely new system.
They'd also need to change the UI to work with controllers, though that's a smaller hurdle compared to the above.
That kind of work would take at least a year or 2 to do and they wouldn't announce it until it's near finished.
Also I remember in the first year they wanted to let you fly around in the ship, but they got rid of it because it was too heavy for phones. They'll probably want to put that back in.

I think there is a possibility they might do this. The latest survey does ask if we'd like to see a sequel. If they do make a sequel, they'd need to make this game available so people that didn't play can catch up.

Far right button on the home screen, then it should be first button in the second row. Each character has a skit for when you properly unlock them (via story or event), a skit for when you get them to level 10 trust and then doing their Skill Quest that unlocks after (giving them presents in the lobby, and then skill quests is one of the tabs when your selecting story modes to play), and then additional skits if that character has an xMA and you've acquired it.

Just as a reminder, for anyone who recently joined or whatever. You will not be able to do any of the following after EoS:
-Enhance or level up anyone or any weapon/MA in any way. Arte enhancements, unlocking SG or Burst on an MA, powering up existing SGs, awakening or uncaping a unit. You'll still be able to swap equips and outfits.
-No more Tower skills. You wont be earning Tower skills with the offline Tower.
-Exchanging anything at all. All exchange shops will be closed off, including the Turtlez shop for buying gear or costumes. Got any currency, use it now.
-Unlocking cutscenes of any sort, including Recollection scenes. You cant unlock skits either, the Lobby will still be open to customize but you cant give presents to anyone, and Skill Quests will also be closed down.
-No gacha. This includes the friend point pull. You will not be able to use any tickets or selectors either.
-No coop. You can view your badge collection, thats about it.

Thats the case for any gacha that lets you keep a glossary of scenes and jpegs you've collected after EoS. Hell, some of them dont even give you a grace period and immediately cut it off after the EoS day, so you cant even download it or sync your account.

Everyone is having their moments hanging out/reflecting on growth. All the Mirrist come together for a meeting to do something, and Ix does that thing again where he goes into the void, and the Wiseman (guy that usually shows up for collab events) shows up to tell Ix that theres a 99.9999% chance a threat is on its way to kill/delete all the people that got exoflected. Basically the walls of reality are crumbling because Dana's presence is getting weak. The threat can not only destroy Tir Na Nag, but also the worlds of the other tales characters. (You) the player come into play as the Observer, and you have been keeping the world alive this whole time, but with side effects that also cause the threat to grow. The possible solution is for you to stop observing, which will let the world maintain itself but close itself off, with the problem being is that every clone living can have their existence get unstable because they live off of being observed. The other option being is to just send everyone back home, but of course they will die in whatever story related thing from their world or potentially cause an contradiction where they get deleted anyway. Basically every plan can mean death for everyone.
Everyone groups up with the respective characters from their titles to maul over it, (Chester cant decide going back because Ami is alive with him in this world, Mithos just wants Martel and Yuan to stay and be happy, Cresty gang obviously on the fence about going back to their world)
The game now gives you the power to send who you want back to their world or stay in this world to try and stabilize things, basically like a hail mary and see you on the other side. Its supposed to be symbolic

Once you make your selection. The Recollect gang show up for like 2 seconds. Ix and the other OCs all get together to perform the ritual, and they also thank you for being with them observing their lives so far. Credit roll.

This might be coping, but I think this is their way to keep it open for a sequel. If they make a new game, they can say the observer is back so we can summon them again and this is why you're recruiting them from scratch instead of everyone being there from the start. And story wise, this will allow them to move time forward however much they want (like to recollection's time period 200 years later) without needing to worry about the characters changing (I'm aware exoflections don't age, but if years passed you'd expect them to change in other ways).

Yeah everyone in Rays are just copies, even the collab characters. The originals are still back in their own worlds and doing their thing, so any character being sent back is actually be sent to their death since they’ll just cease to exist, they’re not taking over the original or merging with them.

Rays was fun but I rather have a real Radiant Mythology 4 instead of a Rays 2.
