How do you guys feel about the recent events? I feel like they been lack luster, although character interactions and the "plot" are fun. Feels like Caesar is being pushed out a bit and the focus is more on the girls.

For slime, guarding picks up the mushrooms found that turn, attack feeds them to the slime, and ultimates both picks up the current turn's mushrooms and feeds them. So basically build a squad of 5 units with 3 cd skills and guard attack guard ult, repeat.

If you manage to pick up two more copies to get her to Bond III, her ult cooldown drops from 4 to 3 turns, making her even more versatile.

Caesar is a really good offensive unit who doesn't need any specific support. She's just a greedy bitch who doesn't buff the rest of the party in a meaningful way.
Usagi has two cool specialties - multi-hit attacks good for bosses that charge up and need breaking with x number of hits, AND she can reduce enemy healing.
Evie is a REALLY niche pick that shines in aggress bosses - get her to 5* and she heals the whole party every time she gets hit. She can taunt and has huge HP too of course.

Went with Caesar as Mia also does multi-hit and she's been my main carry so far, also the alt got Usagi. The two units I got from the banner normally was actually Evie and Wonderland Lulu, so that's nice to hear about Evie. Seems like a lot of playtime before I get to 5*ing units though. I've also hit the coin bottleneck finally at around level 48.

You could go water/flat which would be a 50/50 with Momo and Lana. Momo can be really useful but Lana's ult is slow so it's a risk.
Alternatively, just go for Daphne again if you don't have bond III for her yet, since bond III lowers her ult countdown.

It's been literal years since I grinded the main story. Seeing these "Super Deals" really makes me think of how different back then. Comparing this to the one from the last event is a slightly worse deal (trading the recruitment orders for 6 energy pots plus 80K silver).

Also, quick question about the story. I've seen in the new competition rewards system, it'll line up the first or second track of a chapter with the girl being featured in said chapter. But I've noticed that's not the case for chapters 19 and 22-24. Do you just not get any sez scenes for beating the boss of those chapters?

Nope, don't think there are scenes on the maps in later chapters.
They were only slight tweaks on discipline rooms anyway. No really unique content.

I'm guessing new Tsubaki is one of, if not the single best unit in the game right now. Her kit is loaded (although, she's pretty dupe hungry) , and her leader skill is pretty loaded.

I don't think so, in paper it sounds great, but in practice the leader skill is way too restrictive and Water has never really been the strongest attribute in the game. Solid upgrade from Cat Lulu, but I don't see myself using it anywhere outside of Time Rift filler.

What does you team(s) look like? The only leader skill that I have been able to beat that boss with is Susan.

Haven't done it for this rotation yet, so my memory is hazy, but I think I used Demon Miru, MG Jeanu/Christmas Iblis (IIRC, it used to be paired with the Robo Shizuka, so I initially beat the boss with Iblis, but restart with Juneau so I could use the former's LS to cheese the Shizuka fight), Lib Milae, and I think I used Halloween Lotiya for the first go around, and used Amethystina instead for the second.

The goal isn't to have one unit tank both attacks, but to have two units (one of which you don't mind being excluded from the damage check, due to a secondary ability the first(?) of the two it slides against you). Unfortunately, the boss is simultaneously a horrendously blunt stat check and an account check. So you might have to build up a new unit (if you even have one) and/or invest into more potentials of your current ones.

Fug, that's 4 characters, I remember building up Halloween Leona for the second go around. I would like to say that I experimented with Halloween Jeanu and Emily in order to buff up Bride Satan, but I don't think I'm not sure if I found success with that.

The key thing I was missing was to guard 2 characters on her first big hit turn, guard the 2 others characters the next turn, then everyone ult on the next turn when the boss starts charging to break the guard.

I imagine:
A.) The event needs a guaranteed money printer. Summer is one of the two big events of the year. New girl is unproven, and being a defender alone almost grantees she'll be niche at best for those who care about meta. Having a character so closely tied to Christmas be a Summer unit may have a feeling of "trying to fit a square peg in a round hole". And Noma is generally unproven considering it'll be her first alt.
B.) Pretty much all of the "core" members of Caesar's harem already has a summer alt (except for Lana, but she's also probably by fear the least popular of the bunch (it doesn't help that even after 3 alts + the OG getting a liberation, she doesn't have a single good unit in her.))
C.) Iblis is by far the fan favorite. The only time she didn't place 1st in a popularity poll was one for the favorite sex scene. And even then, her scenes occupied 3 of the top 5, including 2nd and 3rd place. (pic related is pretty old, considering that the all of the characters used are Year 1 units, but pretty much the only thing that doesn't get shuffled around is Iblis being on top).
D.) It also helps that Iblis is the character that is explicitly the most in love with Caesar. And while he isn't the only person to get their dick wet in the game, the number of scenes that include someone else having is quite low, especially compared to other H-Gacha that are more liberal with anyone other than the MC having sex. So I imagine waifuism is a major player for her popularity.

You can collect guaranteed event girls as a f2p but no way to guarantee to get all event characters unless you skip some events to have enough summons for pity.Taiwan bans underage characters sex but Tenkafuma has lolibabas such as R rarity Iris, SSR Lana and de-aged Halloween event version of existing characters(Salucia, Leona, Satan). Old events are rerun regularly and characters/skins always come back in a cheaper summon or paid gem banner.

WTF is up with Didi's new fight?
Most turns you and only do 11% damage and you need to deplete her twice in 20 turns for three stars.
So 18 turns should be enough but you have to keep guarding, losing turns. And you have to use ult one turn too.
The occasional 22% damage isn't enough to keep up.
Is there a way to increase my damage output?

For me it's Irene in the top left, but only because Sailor Juneau is one of my two go-to teams and she fits right in.
Susan works well too. So if you have a good Susan, Irene won't do much else for you.

Just started 30 days ago and their English is surely better than my Chinese but it's off enough that it adds an additional layer of difficulty in figuring out wtf is going on/how abilities actually work/interact.

Probably a decent helping of me not really playing any similar games/systems previously and not spending anything on it (so I don't have the widest variety of characters to fuck around with apart from the preset trial teams / the simulator site doesn't seem to line up with what I actually observe in battle training for lower stars/potential but I'm probably missing some configuration).


Also not sure if they were scammed by some translator or if they just did mtl on some of these lines (Minayomi not being able to decide if she's a ghost or oni).


Most aggravating item is probably the terrible scrollbars/touch interaction.


If most events are like the last few, progression at least seems doable in my lifetime which is nice. Even if I have to actually pull something decent first.

Assuming you don't want to spend money, this is what I'm seeing after 90 days.

The core pain (very dependent on getting in to the weeds on builds/pulling and building specific character types) is still there. If you don't build in a specific way, you're going to get soft locked on the story progression for a while (like I happened to get some good lucky draws and built out a number of dark team characters which then led to me being stuck in chapter 24 - still there - until I pull/build out some characters that get me past the boss spike).


There are also a number of characters (like mentioned earlier) that don't really come online until you're at 3+ copies (or potentially older ones where you need to fully unlock them so you can then liberate them - but no idea myself on that since eternal summoning was ass until the new version released). So if you use up the resources building out one that looks good (but is really limited), you may nerf yourself a month or two down the line and require a few months or more to adjust (mainly missing out on the rewards from the story, demonite to burn for energy refills being the big thing although there are a few character pick tickets).
However, there are a number of QOL improvements that just released in this new version that make it much friendlier for new people/adjusting builds(energy usage dropped to 1 for the regular quests that give boosted returns once per day for silver/xp potions/puzzle pieces, wish list setting on the eternal banner/some other banners moving forward, a new quest line and additional bonus character, adjusted some of the in-game currency store stuff that didn't make sense like diamonds/demonite summon value mismatch - at least for a few per month).

Some of those changes (1 energy for a guaranteed 80k silver once per day once you're able to clear that level) should help mitigate a lot of the pain (apart from actually getting characters that have synergy as a team and evolving them).

Writing wise, seems to be better than a lot of other things I've seen (the correct amount of logic/seriousness to be applied to h gacha, Caesar is going to solve all problems with fucking because Caesar is Caesar). Compared to Ark Recode and others where it's trying to do serious/semi-serious plots (but while maintaining sex needing to happen and twists that have twists).
The only real disappointment is probably due to the Taiwanese censorship/sensitive players. There's a femboy but no fucking the femboy like the women. There's a futa but no fucking the futa like the women.

Just find a character that you know and copy/paste the text that represents the immunity into the search.


Everything else can be set to auto translate but the search text has to be in the original language (since the translation is external).

I don't think the English wiki has been maintained but there's a Japanese, Korean, and Chinese one kept up to date from what I recall.

Not sure if the simulator has a filter for it somewhere (I haven't done much with it) but if it does it would be the easiest.

Got her. This was my team. Made sure to put Evie's taunt up while the boss was charging, AFTER getting her down to 24.99%.
Then hit her with B Iblis ult and chipped over the next 2 turns while Evie tanked the nuke like an absolute legend.

As tradition stage 1 and 2 is puzzle based so your stats don't matter and only stage 3/4 needs a good team.
Stage 1: You need to beat Ezie in five turns max to have enough turns for 3 stars. Keep guarding to boost attack until you can damage her just enough around 60-80% hp. Then you fight Noel taking 3 turns (fixed order with entire team turn 6 basic attack , turn 7 guarding, turn 8 all ultimate). Now at turns 9 you fight butler harpy and should have full health and need 5 turns to beat her(guard on the random position she plans to attack, rest basic attack). Not guarding then she damage team around 20% health.
Stage 2: Bring one supporter, one obstructer, one healer, one attacker(can be switched with supporter) and one guardian for 3 stars(Use only max potental with paralysis immunity for not caring about guarding). Supporter basic attack on shizuka and/or usagi. Obstructer basic attacks tentacle miso. Healer basic attacks heal damaged Shizuka/Usagi.
Stage 3: DPS check(high trigger/damage over time damage resistance). As the hints in question mark and character description says depending on your team having higher ultimate skill DPS(kill Shizuka first) or basic attack DPS(kill Tsubaki first). Then whoever you kill give you no damage debuff to type your team should not relied on and you beat both of them. You get team attack buff or damage reduction/recovery rate on your first character action every 3 turns(or taunt character usually a guardian) always take the attack buff if you can tank damage until later turns There's a gimmick of both Shizuka and Tsubaki having increased 50% damage taken if guard stance is removed(Only achievable from exclusive event units from last year).
Stage 4: Harder version of stage 3 as usual.

I really wish they'd follow their own rules for this shit but it seems like an impossible ask.

Why use a defender that triggers taunt when they just decide to ignore it for three attempts. And then it works as expected the next attempt when I don't expect it to work so I'm guarding on others.
