From what I've heard, the balance is much better and f2p can compete with whales. However, whales can buy gold and use that to buy out items from the auction house, so they have a big advantage at the start but f2p can eventually catch up, unlike in the regular gacha server.
I don't think the daily grind will be quick, it will take longer than normal since they replaced the gacha systems with grind. If you can't stand MMO levels of grind then don't play it.

Seasons gonna be similar to any other mmo. New content bracket, needs new gearing to be able to play, the grind starts anew; some seasonal systems may be phased out or restarted or replaces qith new ones, but overall nothing really out of the ordinary. I assume that season will also be the speed at which new maps and zones get (re)introduced for Warp players, i havent looked into CN but i dont think releasing them all from the start or during the first season even is a good strategy

On the gacha servers, you get the character and their weapon together. Getting dupes improves the weap and unlocks an alternative look for the character. You can create you own custom character and use whatever weapons you want, or use the character skin and any weap regardless if it's theirs. Weapons are what define the role.
On the new mmo servers, you'll get 2 weaps of each role first day and then 1 weap daily for the whole month. You can play around and see which you'd like to main during the launch weeks, but down the line pick and focus your main since resources become less available for equal investment. Dunno if we'll still get game character as skins

warped should've definitely focused on solo first and scaled from there. for years now i've been seeing gamers saying that solo first is the way to go for games in general. relying on finding other players is too difficult in alot of multiplayer games.

If weapon levels are reset then they better give easy access to a ton of them at the start of a season. Just leveling one weapon to 8 drained most of blue physical mats. I'm hesistant on using the mat boxes, not sure I should go tank since it feels like many are doing the same thing

Doesnt surprise me I used to play Runescape a long time ago. The EOC update completely ruined the game, the irony the Old School Runescape, a separate version of Runescape pre EOC, has a large player base. Idk if EOC has seasonality type stuff but it sure feels like a gacha

Its not bad. Just tested today, it sucks balls to do raid ft clears daily. Also you need to do JOs 3 times daily for the dice minigame. So much effort this patch.

Let's assume the company will average $500k monthly in 2026, or $6m for the year. Several assumptions below ie tax rate of a flat 30%

>Operation Expense Manpower: $3.64m -> $2.14m

They're at $2.14m and we haven't included other operating expenses beyond salary for people. It is simply not looking good at all. It is no surprise why the game has gotten buggier. At this size of game they're basically a skeleton crew. For now I think EOS is unlikely due to them having no other games to fall back on in rerms of money generation and of course the founders are still making a lot of money compared to regular waging. At an assumed 300k yearly they're millionaires by now, likely higher salaries years back when I presume the game made way more. Assuming they don't invest their money I give it 5 years max in which they EOS because the founders either got rich enough to not need to wage or the games monthly revenue averages 300k for a year with no sign of recovering.

Arbitrarily chosen however profit margins are razor slim by that point if not negative depending on the other expenses they have. I doubt renting an office space to accommodate such a team size is cheap unless they dodge that cost by making everyone work from home.
