Here are some minimalist games for minimal battery drain:
Slice & Dice, Path of Adventure, Data Wing, Hoplite, Mini Metro, Mindustry, Simon Tatham's Puzzles, Ice Cream Disaster, Vroomies, Trapball, Seedship, Antiyoy, Pocket Tanks, Unciv, Rusted Warfare, 0h h1, Higgster's Games Compendium, Lexica
>>
shatterd pixel dungeon is a mostly traditional rogue like, although it has more interesting levelgen than most rogue likes and it's pretty easy to get into, easy to win, and optional challenges to make it harder. hoplite is kind of a puzzle roguelike that avoids bump combat, would highly recommend. also hyperrogue, but make sure to download a guide or two since the win conditions aren't explained.

Great little game, once it's done it's done but definitely worth the time
>Simon Tatham's Puzzles, Antiyoy
Essential downloads
>Seedship
Don't understand the appeal on this one at all. Downloaded it on a recommendation, completed it 3 times in 5 minutes with zero replay value.
>Mini Metro
Neat little game but gets boring quickly, HIGHLY recommended if you're autistic though.
>Unciv
Remember trying this a year or two ago, but the interface was so bad it was almost unplayable (and that's on a 12inch tablet, phone would be a nightmare). Is it better now?
>Trapball
>has 1000 downloads and no info on store page
>not clickin that shit nigga

Pretty sure this entire board is dead and you're long gone, but my recommendation is Rogue Adventure. Don't let the super-generic name fool you, it's basically Slay the Spire but it's been around longer, the graphics are low quality but the gameplay is excellent. In fact remove graphics as an option and I'd say it's both older and better than Slay the Spire.

I've been playing the demo for a few weeks now, I managed to finish a brutal difficulty run, is it worth paying for the full version? Tempted to grab it on Steam desu. Do the runs go beyond 12 rounds in the full version? I'm the kind of player who will struggle to engage unless I have something to beat, if that makes sense.

I could go to the trouble of explaining the many different ways you're wrong, but given it's clear to literally anyone else and you seem incapable of comprehending even the most basic things, there's not really any point is there?

>is it worth paying for the full version?
I played the crap out of it. There's a whole bunch of stuff to unlock: heroes, enemies, bosses, items, game modes, menu settings. Beating achievements always gives you something new. And since I picked up the game three years ago, there were a few big content updates, maybe there will be more?
>Tempted to grab it on Steam desu
I like having it on my phone, personally. It's a simple game that you can play anywhere even for just a few turns, it saves after every move, runs in vertical mode, and goes easy on your battery.
>Do the runs go beyond 12 rounds in the full version?
The classic mode and most of the others go up to 20 rounds. Some modes are endless and get tougher until you lose.

The OP was also zero effort - 'going off on a travel, any offline games?'. If you wanted a specific type of a list, you should've said so in the first place.
Newfags come to this board every week or so and always make these vague demands. I rec them some relevant stuff, they pick whatever they like or make other requests, say their thanks and take off.
They tend to be in a hurry, not knowing how slow this board is, and if nobody replies right away, they get impatient. I'd rather leave a quick reply, and then answer any questions if OP bothers to check back. I guess I could prepare an infographic one day, but it's not like the lack of pictures has ever bothered anyone before.
My recs weren't random, either. They're all good games I played and enjoyed, they're without ads, they come in various genres, and it only takes a few minutes to check them out, compared to scouring the clusterfuck that is the store app.

>>
>>1853788
the low-effort OP is fine, so long as it's relevant to the board and raises a good topic. From what I can tell most threads here are generals for specific anime-waifu-gacha-slop anyway, when a topic like this is far more useful. You'll always get some weird sperg though, probably mad there was a whole 4 posts without someone posting an image of some anime tits to calm his autism.
Strongly recommend Rogue Adventure btw, my only disclaimer is I have no idea what the ad-rate is like because I paid to remove ads over 5 years ago, when the ad-rate was pretty low but I actively wanted to support the dev for making a great game (only time I've ever paid to remove ads from a mobile game).

I remember trying this years back when I downloaded a bunch of deckbuilder games, it wasn't too bad though a little basic from what I remember. I recommend checking out Rogue Adventure which is the best one I've found...
That said though, I remember another one from back then being really good, but I don't seem to be able to find it anymore. It was based around a dark take on red riding hood, I think it had different characters but only the first one was free, any ideas?
>>
>>1863790
I found the game, it's called "Night of Full Moon". It WAS very very good, but apparently the devs completely sold out and now it's a piece of shit from greedy devs. Real shame, one of the best deckbuilders I'd ever played.

I've been looking for an offline game inspired by Clash Royale and I found this. Heavy emphasis on "found" because I can't get it to run on mobile (the version is 1.2.11 by the time of this post). According to a video by the dev, it's an offline roguelike Clash Royale. So yeah, try it if you can play it or play the PC version on Steam.

You chose to not pretend? Do you think I would never play Aestheta? I just played it right after you asked that question, using an Android port of WINE no less. See the picture. I finished a level, closed it, and then reopened it. There's nothing to change about what I've said.
>>
>>1865380
Are you retarded? You recommended a game you had never played, and then played a level after you recommended it like you're making some kind of point?
I refer you back to the basic question I asked, but tweak it a little for your new flavour of stupidity:
Why did you recommend a game before you played it?
>>
>>
>>1865405
I think you're fucking broken, you're not even making any sense. I didn't repeat a point, I repeated a question, and it is the question I originally made. Do you get off on being wrong or something? What's your damage? I just want an answer to the question.

What implications are they? Let's have a look shall we?
>Hasn't played it
Not an implication, a statement of fact based on the evidence provided. You stated that you found it, but couldn't get it to work. You're even basing the genre of the game off a "video by the dev", confirming no personal experience playing.
>Can't get it to work
Again, not an implication, same as above.
>Recommends it anyway
The closest thing to an 'implication', but still not one, given your post was in reply to the OP who was asking for recommendations. Also, logically, if it wasn't a recommendation then why the hell did you post about it at all?
>This conversation is over
I don't know what's wrong with you, frankly I pity you, you're clearly at least mildly retarded. Your choices are leave defeated, reply more to further highlight your mental deficiencies (not a winning strategy), or at best simply admit to being a dumbass and move on.

>Have fun wageslaving for games you don't even play.
What the fuck are you even talking about?
>posts image about uk tax breaks for game development
What the actual fuck are you even talking about?
I get you're probably trying to play the "jokes on you I was just trolling" card to seem like less of a complete waste of oxygen, but you're overplaying your hand.
I know given your obvious intellectual handicap that you find reading hard, but if you can make it through, you might find this helpful and maybe even somewhat enlightening:
Social media over the last 10-15 years has trained an entire generation to be extremely defensive of their digital presence, and one of the side effects is that people can never back down anymore, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. It's why you see so many people online (usually liberals) sticking to their guns on the most batshit takes, or sometimes just outright lying about things proven just recently. Like the whole Hasan thing recently, where rather than just admit the truth, he's changed his story like 5 times.
Zoomers and newfags, and really anyone who has been here less than 10 years or so, don't seem to understand that the true beauty of 4chan anonymity is that it makes it unnecessary. It used to be a place where anons could be genuine and speak brutal truth, because there were no consequences, and perhaps more importantly nothing to gain from lying. It's what let this place thrive, people bonded over genuine shared experiences, and came to know themselves better as a result.
My point here is that you should try liberating yourself with honesty, embrace your stupidity, know yourself better. You have nothing to lose.

For -likes there's Pixel Dungeon derivatives, especially Shattered PD, and not much else, like:Pathos: Nethack Codex or Gnollhack.
There are hundreds of -lites in different varieties, tho, perhaps enough for a separate thread. Some of the ones I played are: Slice & Dice, Kingdom Two Crowns, Bad North, Merge Maestro, Poker and Sorcery, and I know there's a bunch of popular ones like Dicey Dungeons, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Balatro, Dungeon Clawler, or Unknown Knights.

Can recommend Hoplite and Mini Metro. Both are solid little things.
If you haven't played them yet, I can also recommend Baba is You or Dead Cells. Honestly, if you're comfortable emulating things on your phone, I'd say just get a few emulators and go to town on those games.

What are some good PPSSPP games for Android? As in PSP games that control nicely on the emulator. I tried playing Pokemon games before but lost my enthusiasm quickly, because there was no way to speed up stuff like on a PC emulator.

Correct - mashing an incredibly basic rhythm game into an incredibly basic strategy game doesn't breed complexity, and giving it a cute coat of paint doesn't make it good. I've had more engagement from the back of cereal boxes.

No, LoRt is maybe 7/10 on a greed psychotic gacha spend money grind scale if MTGA or Yugioh are a 9/10.
But the biggest advantage to the later two is being able to build a third place & new friends with your gameplay knowledge in the form of TCG stores instead of eternally gambling and losing money alone in digital only games.

Is that meant to be some kind of defense of the PSP? Even if that's a good game (which I doubt), it's a Japanese exclusive game, and your suggestion of it is like admitting it has nothing else. I know the PSP line-up was piss poor, but I didn't realise it was genuinely that bad.

If you like digimon then get digital tamers 2. I play this on a 10 years old phone so I think everyone can run it on their devices. It's a nice pet raising game. My advice is take it slow and enjoys the time with your digimon.

How has nobody suggested Super Auto Pets yet?
Great game, no ads, no gacha, no anime waifu bullshit, no long-term progression, just a great little game. And if you need an objective playing solo, getting every medal will take you forever...

You shouldn't use words if you don't know what they mean.
Proud? Exactly what part of my post exhibited any sense of pride in anything?
Ignorant? Your complete lack of counter-argument says otherwise
The real question here is why you feel the need to defend an old portable console with no decent games that was mostly only popular due to homebrew shenanigans. In a thread that has nothing to do with the PSP in the first place, no less.
I know this is 4chan and everything but man, you really need to get a life
>>
>>
>>1939906
Interesting to replied to an earlier comment because you were so BTFO by my last reply that you have no possible comeback. You are still retarded however. Let's break it down again shall we?
My post at >>1938173 (which is not 'frothing at the mouth' as it was quite polite, ironically your post is much more unhinged and rude) was in reply to >>1937720 (which I'm now guessing is also you), which in itself was also replying to >>1914679. So it wasn't just a recommendation - by specifically (though not exclusively) replying to that post, he was challenging the assertation that there were no good games on the PSP.
Do you see how that works yet? It's called context. It's why I framed it as a defense.
Now the real questions, that you will probably fail to even attempt to answer (again) - why are you so mad? are you butthurt because you're a PSP fanboy? This thread and indeed this board is nothing to do with the PSP, and it's so slow, there's hardly anybody here bro, nobody cares. Why are you upset? Perhaps more importantly, what are you hoping to achieve?
I would normally suggest you lurk moar, but in this case my recommendation is that you just leave the site entirely. Perhaps to a safezone for you, like r/psp or something.
