It's usually very obvious so you dont have to worry BUT the Underside mode has sometimes restrictions that force you to use one Clear demon so if the colored skills are only good and not very good, going clear should be considered.
Ideally, you want at least one clear demon for each element.

Probably only Herokado for the extra +15 strength and the 3* underside demons that get personal skills. Metatron hasn't been worth fusing clear since his buff. I have an OG clear Metatron since year 1 with maxed Judgment and I hate that I can't arch-shift it to teal for the self-applying Repel Elec.

Also the enemies in AG2EX1 are immune to ailments so you cant cheese random encounters with Ulice anymore.
They're only vulnerable to a specific element (Force from what I've seen but some battles could be different) and almighty.

Party effects are passive that stay even when the skill holder is ded.
There's not many of them, the only one I have is on Macha (+20% physical damage), can't tell you about the others.
The fact that they felt the need to add a specific menu just for that should give you a clue about you what's coming.

This was for sure my stupidest clear of anything in this game, Chefei and SK were basically just there to look cool because I forgot the boss disabled "while this demon is alive" effects so in the end it was basically just V normal attacking and Nuwa healing everyone and every other turn I had to use a turn using a bead on V since he was the only one that couldn't tank enough to always recover more from Nuwa + Xana's passive 1000 damage every turn, I even don't have 100+ phys berserk so I am pretty sure if I had I wouldn't need to even use the beads
No Masura, no Ouroboros, no P4 Angry Mayo, no Anthrasax(don't even know if her counters work against the fat fuck) really made me desperate to find something that could work
Does Kali help speed things up by constantly draining the attacks? Also don't have him to test him

As a rule of thumb, never ever use a 6* for its transferable skill. That's what blank genomes are for.

The best Fury Masakado right now is purple, so you should level up the teal one, change it to purple using a selector, extract the red one's Epitome of Fortitude with a blank genome, then spiritize it and feed it to the teal one.
Regarding Metatron, fuse him Teal too.

Good call. Yggdrasil got buffed recently? I don't remember his IS passive taking away 2 press turns.
I underestimated how hard Lahmu hits. I've gotten a few T0 wins with him which I wasn't expecting. Probably won't roll for his spirits nor spend universal spirits on him though. He seems to be perfectly functional at P0.

it doesn't, but it's very easy for the "lahmu attacks>chefei revives and counters>yggdrasil eats a press turn" cycle to happen twice. if lahmu can kill the first time, he can kill the second.
bare in mind this gets countered by nuwa/f.masakado (seals yggy's press turn eating), lahmu's attack is phys so it can miss, and some teams can tank it anyway. it's still pretty strong especially on defense against randoms

I can assure you that Yggdrasil's Intimidating Stance passive removes 2 press turns. The passive that removes a press turn when you Drain/Repel an element is just a single press turn but Yggdrasil ALSO has the 'standard' IS effect when an enemy attacks first and it removes two. I don't recall that previously from his release so I thought it might have been a buff at some point.

It really feels like the game is in it's death throes, they're milking whales all they can by releasing OP demons one after the other while F2P players can't realistically catch up unless they have some insane, lotery winning luck.

Imprisonment
Imprisonment is an effect applied to a unit via Skills and other means.
A Demon afflicted with Imprisonment will have their turn skipped.
Furthermore, because an Imprisoned Demon is treated as though it were dead, it cannot become the target of attacks of Skill effects.
While Imprisoned Demons cannot activate Chain Effects or Order Crest Effects even if the respective conditions are met, effects applied while the skill holder is alive will still activate.
If an Imprisoned Demon is in your party, it will not be counted toward the initial Press Turn Icons obtained at the start of your turn. Rather, it will be the same as if the Demon in question were dead.
Example: There are 4 Demons in your party and one has been imprisoned. In such a case, you will start your turn with 3 Press Turn Icons.
When Imprisonment is applied to a Demon, its current status ailments and stat changes will be maintained.
If Imprisonment is removed by any means other than Recurrence, the formerly Imprisoned Demon will reenter the battle with all the status ailments it had before the Imprisonment.
Imprisonment can be removed in the following ways:
- After a set number of turns passes.
- After a set number of turns to act passes for the afflicted Demon
- The Demon that inflicted Imprisonment is defeated.
- Recurrence is applied to the afflicted Demon.
If all Demons in enemy party are Imprisoned or have been downed normally, then the battle will be treated as finished.
Example 1: Imprisonment is applied to all 4 Demons of the opposing party. This will be treated as a party wipe, causing the battle to end.
Example 2: Two Demons have been Imprisoned, and 2 have been downed normally. This will be treated as a party wipe, causing the battle to end.

it's all about their passives and panels, the weak is because he's resistant to curse and the curse is because shion reduces healing for demons who're cursed
nebiros is for weak and dmg reduction, cleo is for dmg reduction and rdr, fionn is for dmg, and oumi is for dmg reduction, dmg, status cure, and curse/weak
p mothman is a subsitute that doesn't really work past 11 as it isn't as versatile as oumi, its p1 reduces auto cure rate and its attack has a 20% curse/weak chance on hit
p2 is for curing status ailments

Also thank fucking Christ Sega is finally easing up on 'does not consume press turns' on offensive demons. That shit should have had a hard cap per team like IS did. I don't think T2 teams can do anything against a properly built T1 team in the current meta.

I think the next shadow realm unit will show up pretty quickly. Abdiel is a nice 'proof of concept' for the mechanic but actually triggering the banishment is more difficult than what power-creep will likely bring about. Sort of like Mephisto being the unit that introduced decay but was completely useless compared to what decay looks like now.

Marth, Ike and Lyn would make sense because they are the most popular (outside of the TH lords but they basically have to come as a group) and also work on the three kinds of demon as discussed above

If you're going to put him on defense then you want more health, so in order, pick what you have available: Fatal Vital > Epitome of Interception > Life Surge / Supreme Idea > Great Idea > Life Gain > Null Bind / Null Ice / Speedster / Epitome of Swiftness / Fire Accele / etc.
Ideally it would be Epitome of Interception + Supreme Idea + Fatal Vital (once you unlock the third transfer slot) but these are all extremely hard to get, so you can go with something like Speedster + Life Surge + Life Gain.
