When I played the beta I found the bots to be pretty dumb so for harder content I suggest getting with players. I'm not the social person I used to be so I won't be playing the release version but the beta was a good experience because it was my first time guilding with fellow anons in a MMO. As a rule of thumb you are either full blown multiplayer or don't have anything regular at all. As long as you want a healthy amount of single player content.. do NOT make the mistake and try to do MP as well. Look at Tower of Fantasy. Trying to do both will make you fail at both. DNA is nowhere near the scope of Ananta, even if it fails i wouldn't use it as evidence, non-gacha live service game existed before and most of them failed for many reasons beyond just the model.

The main problem you have with these games is that you need to decide WHICH AUDIENCE you want.
There's only two types of live service games. One where you log in and do content as it comes and when there's no content left you play other games of this kind or in general.
And then there's one you play all the time when you feel like playing the game. These are generally multiplayer, stuff like MOBA, shooters and whatnot, but can also be MMO.
It's just not a very compatible concept, as both takes a LOT of work to make good, and nobody can play two games of the latter kind without going insane, especially not if you also add the MMO layer of dailies/weeklies on top.
This is why it's so important to focus. If you are too time consuming, everyone who comes for the first category will leave anyways. They likely play other games like that as well. And if the MP part is too half assed, people coming for the second kind of game will also leave as it's not fun enough for what they want out of their "regular" game.
Again, Tower of Fantasy. I tried it when it launched, but stopped playing because dailies took way too long, and the MP parts weren't to my liking either. It kinda felt like it wanted to be everything at once and was nothing as a result. Even though the combat was kinda fun.

Lots of more stuff has been showing up of Codename Cedar thanks to the Chinese OBT. This is my favorite design so far. Also, I find it hilarious that the devs refer to the players as comrades but it works since it's a uses a cold war-ish setting and is fully voiced in Russian. I guess that means Cedar players will be affectionately calling each other comrades.

Ananta? Probably not for a while, I'm surprised they had a TGS demo for people even though they said something along the lines of being still in early development. Like doesn't that mean there's at least a few more years? I saw some demo footage that people posted online and a lot of the movement animation looks like it needs work. I really want to play this game though, feels like something I can sink a lot of time if the main story and characters are entertaining.

This alone is enough to make me lose the little interest in the game I had. The ugly characters (which are a mix of AC's chibi faces and The Sims' more realistic proportions) and seemingly lack of interesting NPC are other issues I have with the game.

- tool durability is far less tedious, you can easily gather materials required for upgrade kits which can then be set up anywhere to repair tools (and is also an aoe, so multiple players can repair their tools with a single repair kit
- lifesim and multiplayer are satisfying, there are multiple items that can be bought and used for creating minigames (portals, roll dice, etc), plus the chinese version has had several events since release
