What I noticed from climbing SupArena this season, if you can get to her quick enough she's pretty easy to take down. The problem is that there are a lot of good walls and control units that will stop you from getting to her.

I am not sure what do you mean by "improved" gameplay loop, if you already experienced part of the 1st season then no it did not change that much. They did increase a lot of rewards and added a bunch of new modes so you'd have to try it yourself, though if you didn't like the first time I don't think you're gonna like it now.

One of the major points this season was dissecting was blind worship and the effects of religious psychosis. Both the Halians and the Wildborn were staunchly devoted to their respective gods until Dura and Merlin started waking them up.
Halia was easier because our strongest ally was the king, who was also a child and much more open to our help even after we inadvertently cause a catastrophe. Kordan in contrast was already well in his ways and would've required more intervention, which we didn't get to do. Someone hurting will look for anything to blame for the cause, and Merlin was the easiest in his eyes. While things weren't perfect, everything got much more complicated after we showed up.
Also, by the time of the duel, Kordan is much older. Of course he lost to a younger warrior in their prime. Tilaya even says that there were others that could've challenged him and won, but they didn't.

No it hasn't been like this every season. This started with echoes of dissent making the hypos/celes being dual roles for more than one mode. Before one could skip and save scamgazers on the mode they were willing to use discount teams in. I got by just fine skipping talene, berial, harak, dionel, dung, cryo, kulu. Baelran, saida, aliceth, and mehira all double up modes and usage. There isnt good replacements for them and that makes the discount teams lag way behind. The only reason I even made 61 on ravage this season was because the entire district was hurting for cele/hypos and there were no clear cut replacements - people with L+ and M were putting big gaps between those with 1 copy.
Pvps are a joke now that Alna dropped. Dung locked arena but supreme was doable. Now both have just shut out arena and supreme. Worse Alna shows good pushing on afk stages.
Dream was another one with Aliceth and Baelran - there arent really good replacements if you dont got them.

"Season" system resets all players to lvl240 with lvl240 equipment and everyone has to catch up again once the new season starts. Only things saved notably are the characters' investment in your roster, so you have an advantage with for example a maxed out Shemira compared to someone with 1 copy of her.
Pulls are hurled in players' faces so much (including f2ps) since dupes are necessary for character progression.

Right now, we're like 3-4 days in the new season and the devs patched the game many times to make entering a season accessible to newbies. Compared to before when your server had to have been up for a month and you had to go through hoops to beat the main story, reach lvl240, etc... this time, you just have to login and the game apparently auto-upgrades you after the tutorial for you to IMMEDIATELY get access to the season.

I didn't really read him as being gay, asexual maybe but to me it just seemed like he had way too much shit going on at the time to he affected, Mehira was already using the other two wildborn to fuck with him anyway
His entire 'two souls' thing/Merlin's presence might also be why he wasn't affected by Mehira
