The Stella Link Carnival Event Free Quests and Event Sales will be ending on the 28th 20:00 JST. While the Main Quests, Challenge Quests, Banner will end on November 4th 14:00 JST. There's also a Score Attack Challenge Simulator Quest SSS-Rank - Lantern-Type Kaibutsu that will end on November 12th 14:00 JST. Did you manage to score at least 90,000 points to get all the Ether Stones from the Score Attack Challenge Simulator Quest? Did you Summon on the Stella Link Carnival Banner or did you skip it? Now with Barrel being the start of 2nd Alts who do you think will get their 2nd Alt next?

Damn, I didn't know Maculata was so strong. She's strong enough to outright crash my game.
>who do you think will get their 2nd Alt next?
Considering how popular he is I wouldn't be surprised if Giansar got his second alt at some point. But for the next one probably Reykie, he really needs an alt that makes him more viable.

>crash my game.
I had the 2nd phase of the final battle take a bit to load but I didn't have any other issues. I don't think I've ever had the game crash on me before.
>Giansar Reykie
Yeah they seem like the most obvious choices. But I do think Reykie will get his 2nd alt before Giansar and having another opinion to use him would be nice even if both of his current versions can work they need their Skill Trees but they both still have the issue of their 3rd skills being expensive.
>>1871232
>Mokdai
I feel like he'd get his 2nd alt a little later down the line. I think Ryekie, Giansar, Monomasa, Sadayoshi or Obsidius could be the next 2nd alt or at least within the next couple of 2nd alts then Mokdai would be around then. Of course I could be wrong.

The update earlier today added the last Story Quest for Stella Link Carnival and the Challenge Quest of the Final Boss. I thought it would have been multiple phases with two teams but I guess not regardless those will be ending in less than a week. Of course there are now alternate versions of Unfaltering Devotion Barrel and Stellar Splendor Roudin's art that make slight changes to them. But with the end of Stella Link Carnival we should in theory get a rerun of The Glorious Rising Moon next.
Also the Wiki’s Unofficial survey results have been available for a while now. It’s always neat to see player habits, the general consensus on certain things, character popularity and so on even if it's just a small part of the player base. The artists that people want to see had some popular choices like GammaChaos because every game needs a Horeku Kamui and someone apparently asked for Gamma. One that was a surprise to me was piikeisandaa a pleasant surprise I should say. I like his art it brought me back to Dragalia Lost, taught me about World Flipper and Leon, also got me into Etrian Odyssey.

Looks like Lifewonders really said no to both of my predictions on what’s next for here and Housamo. I was kinda hoping to see what accessory Pubraseer was going to get even if it was mostly likely just going to be something floating behind him. But Vulpecula finally gets an Alt, they’re adding Genji too taking him out of NPC jail and the new Hero is named Farden. I wonder what the three of them will be like gameplay wise. Also we’re getting two Permanent Ether Tickets, 10 Ether Stones and a few other items as Login Bonuses as part of the AGF celebration. There will be another Banner with Vlaham, Obsidius, and Canes as the 5star focus and Sterio and Hydoor as the 4star focus. This would be temping but it's a triple 5star banner and I got a few copies of Obsidius while having to spark for Tidal Surge Alphecca earlier this month so both banners are a skip for me. Best of luck to anyone who Summons when the Banners drop!
>FINALLY HAPPENED
Congratulations it finally did happen! You have a Spark but hopefully you don’t have to use it. I wish you the best of luck on your Summons when the Banner drops!

The rates are too low in this game, and 90% of the character designs are underwhelming or a generic bara meatbag which is why I quit several years ago. My faggotry is not strong enough to warrant whatever the hell Lifewonders shits out,

I'm so fucking mad.
It happened again.
3 years later after Giansar's first banner on the summer resort event it happened again.
I had to spark. And I had to buy pulls again to hit 200. Thankfully it wasn't over $100, but I had to buy the $30 bundle for the last 28 pulls because there was no feasible way to get over 100 stones in 30 days.
I spent those 20 pulls getting the new limited Barrel, and it ended up fucking me over because I got not 1, not 2, but 3 of the old fart construction worker. And a fucking off banner Andrew.
Never spending money on this game ever again though so the nightmare is finally over...
>>
>>
>>1879935
That sucks sorry you had to spark trust me I've been there I wanted Star Insignia Pubrasser but got three Gaisei instead. But at least Genji seems pretty decent as a tank so there's that. Plus you could have had my luck back when Bulldozing Destroyer Obsidius debuted last year. I had to spark for him but the kicker is I didn't even get a single 5star from the 200 Summons I had to do.

I believe he'll come home for you too Anon! Even if it might not be on this banner you can absolutely stock stones and be able to get him next anniversary even if the wait hurts. The fact we got a Vulpe alt in the first place means you now have something far more tangible to strive for.

I did a bit of grinding today and after listening to the Event's battle theme for a bit I think it might be my favorite they've made this year. But World End Travelers was good too.
>>1881902
Oh oops my bad. But yeah if you're anything like me the sting of having to spark will stay for a bit. Silver lining is that you have him and can start saving for his possible 2nd alt now. And after using him as a Support he seems like he can be pretty strong even if you'd need to have say Santetsu, Bardic Wanderlust Danzo, and/or Giansar if you really want to max his potential due to his Speed Difference shenanigans.

Vulpecula my beloved.... wanting to steal me away for himself...
Only read Chapter 3 so far of the story
Apparently Vulpecula wants to befriend and recruit Farden because he also has a painful past involving someone he lost, but Farden rejects his offer because he doesn't let his past stop him from having a bright future. Vulpecula gets angry and says he'll eliminate the hero squad the next time he sees us here and flees, angered that his convictions weren't enough to persuade him. Interested to see if the town counselor Vulpecula is some sort of living entity of the clock tower itself or if it's a relative of Vulpecula or whatever because it seems like they're 2 separate people and Vulpecula has to let Observer bond with him to unlock his new form and save them because they'll be trapped there otherwise or something

While this is very late but in case you somehow missed it there was a new Score Attack Challenge Simulator Quest added last week SSS-Rank - Slime Monster. The bonus Heroes this time are Wood focused.
Blazing Beacon Isaribi and Mokdai will get a 100% increase in Viewpower gained from their own Skills
Santestsu and Gammei will increase the damage allies deal by 2% X the Spd difference between them and their target.
Of course the Heroes and Sidekicks that have bonuses for the Bi Weekly Challenge Simulator Quests will have them active for the Slime Monster Quest as well.
Daybreak Harbinger Vulpecula, Senthak, and Nessen will have 50% more Atk.
Goro and Andrew will take 30% less damage from attacks.
Farden will increase the damage allies deal by 2% X the Spd difference between them and their target.
Procy will get a 100% increase in Viewpower gained from his own Skills
Sterio's Buffs will have increased duration or increase number of buffs granted by his skills by 1.
Sidekicks Farden, Flamier, Yotaro, Loren, Genji, Obsidius, Gomeisa and Vulpecula will grant 1000 base HP, 500 base attack, and reduce damage received by 250 to the Heroes they're paired up
with.
Also Unexplored Exploration will be reset in about 8 days from now so be sure to get all the Ether Stones before then.

I'll be honest I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas alts in gacha anymore they mostly all just fall under red outfit with white fluffy trim. Which is understandable what else can you really do otherwise. So yeah I really would prefer that my favorites don't get Christmas alts besides Gomeisa already has one and it's not the best in the world.

I did Episodes 5 and 6 andwhat on earth is going on in this Event?! Genji and Farden got obliterated and everything is bad and on fire which that's probably putting it lightly. I just stared at the new Event screen for a solid 20 seconds because I wasn't expecting that. I know I could screenshot translate everything but that's tedious and I don't want to spoil everything for myself due to still slightly hoping for a translation.

>>1887461The fake Vulpecula is actually a Kaibutsu that absorbed the memories of a parallel Vulpecula and became hellbent on destroying the past. Vulpecula confronted the fake in the clock tower and all his subordinates get swallowed by the monsters. Vulpecula finally realizes his ultimate goal had no meaning at the end when accomplished and falls into a depressive acceptance as he gets swallowed by the monster, claiming he never wanted this sort of destruction. Observer and the others arrive and see Vulpecula die and try to fight the giant Kaibutsu but are swallowed by the monster as it fully ascends by absorbing the clock tower's energy and turns into a destructive recycle and rebirth of the town, constantly destroying its past to give birth to a new present.
We also get a flashback of Vulpecula's fabled lover, Ansel, who started out as a simple customer at his father's watch shop Vulpecula was an apprentice at. Ansel asks Vulpecula to fix his pocket watch and Vulpecula manages to fix it, ultimately discovering it was a small issue. Ansel is impressed and asks Vulpecula to keep it in his care until he becomes a master watchmaker, and Vulpecula happily agrees. Their bond grows as Vulpecula learns magic and juggling, all to please Ansel who loves watching a spectacle. Then one day a Kaibutsu attacks the town and Vulpecula is awoken by Ansel, screaming that they need to hurry and leave before they're eaten. Vulpecula quickly grabbed his most prized possession, the pocket watch from Ansel, but in that time Ansel is eaten by a Kaibutsu and dies. Vulpecula, now traumatized, wanders the streets a broken man as he finds it frustrating no one even cared or remembered his now deceased friend and vows to destroy the painful past with the help of those who empathize with him.
It was pretty insane, I shook so hard I dropped my phone when it ended

Basicallyit was all a dream. No, really. Meride and MC both have the same dream of Cogsden being destroyed and Kaibutsu eating all the townspeople and heroes. They tell Farden and Genji and decide to meet Vulpecula and have him hear them out on the dream to see if he will cooperate with them. If it is a premonition, it's better to not leave him alone. Farden muses how cool it would be to fight Kaibutsu together with Vulpecula, despite him being a villain. To help them track down his whereabouts, MC contacts Alchiba for help. He explains that the ether of Cosgden has a special property that allows the existence of the fake Kaibutsu Vulpecula to cross universes. By meeting the real one, they can confirm if the dream was real or not.
Meeting Vulpecula through Farden contacting him, the red text box allows you to explain the situation. Ultimately, he laughs and rejects your offer, claiming it to be an absurd story. Noting how you beat the weak Kaibutsu yesterday, he asks how it could be a threat. If he wasn't a phantom thief, he'd swallow the sweet lie, but tell a better one next time he says, as he disappears with a smoke bomb.
MC becomes frustrated, saying he doesn't want to give up just yet as the haunting scene replays in his mind. End of Chapter
>>
>>1888980
In the Chapter after,Vulpecula's henchmen discuss and laugh about the heroe's desperate plea to the thief. One henchman suggests they should take the warning seriously and flee the planet in case it comes true, although Vulpecula notes if they do, the fake Vulpecula counselor will likely die as a result before they can recruit him. So, they will stay, although Vulpecula suggests they should stick together to avoid interference from other sources from now on.
Meanwhile, the heroes wait as Farden tries to send a hero request to his agency, but there is no reply, and Farden notes that even if there was, it likely would be too late to arrive anyway. They decide to head to City Hall to send a Hero Request there for a more immediate result. When they arrive, the same loop happens. Screams are heard as Kaibutsu fill the streets, Meride activates Genji's parallel hero form, and he heads outside to fight back against the wave of monsters. MC gets flashes of the dream again, and tells Farden they need to hurry to the Clock Tower before it's too late. Farden transforms, and the battle begins.
Postbattle, we see the same Vulpecula scene, where the Kaibutsu reveals he is the deceased Vulpecula swallowed by Kaibutsu to erase his past completely. Vulpecula is shocked that the heroe's words were completely true, and this time instead of battling him, the henchmen help Vulpecula escape outside, only to be surrounded by a swarm of Kaibutsu as the fake Vulpecula emerges.
Back to the heroes, MC wonders how he can change the outcome of the fated end they're running towards. Genji screams to give him ViewPower, and uses it to build a bridge of light with his steel beams towards the clock tower, saying he will be the bridge of tomorrow. As they keep running towards the clock tower, the swarm of kaibutsu continue to climb onto the bridge. Genji falls behind and says to leave it to him as he turns to face the swarm all by himself despite Meride's pleas.
>>
>>1889002
What happens next isGenji jumps down towards the base of the bridge and pulls the steel beam out, causing the bridge to collapse now that the other heroes have safely made it. Genji laments it's not a bad place to risk your life after he narrowly escaped death once. Meride and Farden argue over whether they should go back and help Genji, Meride eventually convincing Farden to send her back to Genji using his flight Hero Power. Genji is angry she came back, but she also shares her anger, thinking back how her entire life people have sacrificed themselves to protect her. Instead, stop leaving her alone. She uses her warp power to teleport Kaibutsu as she thinks back to how her fellow heroes have welcomed her, and says she wants to protect others in that same way. Genji remarks that she's such a stubborn girl, but smiles as they continue to fight back the monsters.
Back to the clock tower, MC reaches Vulpecula's group, who are being cornered. Vulpecula asks them to retreat without him, but they refuse. Farden is about to help, when a black shadow overhead screams to retreat through the thin southern crowd of monsters. Alchiba swoops down and picks up Vulpecula, chuckling that he ended up being the savior to his nemesis. He explains he tracked map data from their signal and chides without wings the rescue wouldn't have been possible. MC transforms him and Alchiba battles the fake Vulpecula, while Vulpecula grumbles to feed him to the Kaibutsu. Alchiba retorts saying that wouldn't help the people who've suffered from his actions, as Vulpecula says his destructive cycle of the past is the same as Kaibutsu. His henchman comfort his sadness as Alchiba contacts Meride, saying all the Kaibutsu are clones of the fake Vulpecula, and destroying the main core is the only way to stop them.
Farden tells Vulpecula to believe in his comrades who call him their hope, and to find the true shape of the future he desires in this world. 1/2

This leads toVulpecula thinking of the stolen "present" he had, of the new life he was going to experience with his lover, and he declares that he can't forgive it. A crimson glow emits from MC's device as Alchiba tells Vulpecula he can't disappear just yet without atoning for his sins. Vulpecula flashbacks to how he could only live in the shadow now that his present had been stolen, and angrily shouts that he can't forgive the phantom thief who stole the presents of 2 people from him. The crimson glow shines brighter as Alchiba tells him to show his conviction of his words. Vulpecula states that as the phantom thief, he'll take back everything the phantom thieves have stolen so that humans may sing about the present. The device detects a new path, and lists Vulpecula as very strong. Connecting the path, Vulpecula transforms, and vanishes, landing countless sword slashes and vaporizing the monster clones. He touches his hourglass and turns a wave of monsters to dust. Thanking MC for realizing his dream, he says he can't show you his unruly face anymore and declares that the Phantom Thief Vulpecula will accept fighting alongside heroes. Now, he will take back what they stole from him in a magnificent way. This is the new chapter of the Phantom Thief Vulpecula.

Epilogue:Vulpecula's Parallel Weapon went from being able to stop time to rewinding time, as he notes that instead of throwing time away, it now saves it. He uses his hourglass to share the time with his henchmen to allow them an advantageous formation to wipe out masses of Kaibutsu, angering the fake Vulpecula. Alchiba says the only reason Vulpecula is a villain is because he has no place as a hero while he transforms to assist in the battle. Farden laments that everyone's lives but his were affected deeply by Kaibutsu, and he was simply a dreamer for writing a world of stories. One day he awakened as a hero, and in order to support his lover put writing aside. The day he could finally achieve his dreams, his lover died from Kaibutsu. He turned his away from reality, but now he sees an Observer risking their life for a bright future. He says standing to MC gives him courage and that hope for a new dawn rises. He became a hero to be someone's hope, just like in his stories. He asks MC if he will observe his wishes, and MC agrees. MC sends Farden ViewPower, and with a cry of Aus Elysium, his book weapon flies into the sky and splits the clouds away to "rewrite a happier ending".
Meride and Genji reunite with MC after seeing the cluster of light. Farden notes how Genji is in a great mood, not knowing his light created a utopia to allow each of them to see those they'd lost to Kaibutsu again. Genji his son, and Vulpecula, Ansel. Vulpecula juggles his sword in the air as Ansel's apparition claps in enjoyment. The Fake Vulpecula screams as now the painful past is being erased by the paradise's effect. It flees into the clocktower for the final battle. Vulpecula sighs in annoyance that they're celebrating too soon when nothing's been done yet, but figures it's fine to not get along. Regardless, they'll take the future back together.
Fake Vulpecula declares it will destroy the tower, while the heroes give their rallying cries.
>>
>>1892502
During the battle,Vulpecula sees the enemy as nothing more than remnants of a phantom thief who wanted to destroy everything and himself, and that reason drew back the curtain of his ideals.
Midway through, Vulpecula looks back on how he sacrificed a precious person with his actions, and wonders even now if there was meaning in losing them when they saved him. Genji reminisces on his son's death and says no one will understand or teach him if it was a meaningless death or something that saved his life, but he assumes that he'll just have to live in the future to find out. Farden says not even losing someone important will stop the world turning, but that's why it's so important that he will live on with the memories of that person, and how he can't let them turn into nothing.
The Fake Vulpecula gurgles about destroying the past as it's about to die, Genji saying it's about time to finish it off. Farden says to give ViewPower to Vulpecula. Shimmering, Vulpecula says goodbye to his past parallel self. Now, let us help your goals once more, he announces, as he slashes the being into countless pieces, ending the fight.

ConclusionVulpecula explains he's always loved old things, from antiques to junk, he enjoyed history in a world where it was popular to throw away the past and live in the present, and he envied it a little because he could never do the same.
With how small the world is, Farden always imagined various futures. Because he lives in reality, he can see countless possibilities, and realizing there are as many universes as human dreams, it motivated him to become a hero.
Vulpecula says because of the event in the past that made him this way, there's no way he can imagine countless other futures or events that could have changed him. For being Phantom Thief Vulpecula, he has no right to dream of a convenient future, he can only move forward in the present reality to make his ideal world come true.
The Fake Vulpecula dies and disappears in a beam of light, and the heroes breathe a sigh of relief. MC undoes their transformations and everyone watches the glowing dawn in the city they all saved together. Farden asks Vulpecula if he intends to be a hero, claiming that he thinks those who have lost everything in disasters can look to him in times of grief to be comforted by someone who lives in the present despite their loss. Vulpecula counters saying that not all heroes are easy going like him. Although he's given it some thought, working with heroes is a one time thing, don't force him to support surviving people. Even if he wanted it to, the Galaxy Police or Alchiba would never forgive him or his comrades. If you'd like to resonate with him in the present though, you're welcome. He takes the glove off his hand and smiles at MC, saying his words are an offering to join him. Together, they can write a new chapter of the Phantom Thief. Alchiba gets angry and asks what he thinks he's doing, so Vulpecula simply says someday, he'll come to pick you up. Vulpecula leaves saying he'll repay the debt to Alchiba someday.
(Rest is cheesy feelgood ending stuff)

Vulpecula Quest
After decoding a secretly coded message, you meet Vulpecula at the outskirts of Cogsden. You gripe that he could have just contacted you normally, but he dismisses it as a way to conceal his location. He says he wanted to talk to you before he left, assuring you his comrades aren't listening. You ask if he could ever become a hero, to which he reaffirms no, and that he will probably never change his mind about it. Instead, before he leaves, he wants to ask you for a favor: Just 1 more time, let him dream of the new future he shaped with his parallel self. After transforming, he thanks you, saying he wanted to convey something to you in this form. This could have been a new start for him, but he had to reject the hero offer, because he couldn't go back on his ideals and hurt the people he's influenced. If he becomes a hero, they'll lose their support. That's why he'll keep being a villain. Hearing you support his decision, he's glad. He chides his new outfit is only for now, before adding that you've been standing here defenseless for a while. Don't let your guard down around villains, otherwise this will happen. He stabs you with a rose in the chest, laughing. (It was a magic trick turning his sword into a rose) You showed him the dawn of a new path to his dream, so this flower is a gift. He declares one day, he'll invite you into his family. You counter saying someday you'll make him a hero. He laughs and says one day you'll be captivated by him, and then leaves in a flash as the clocktower rings out.

Congrats on getting Star Insignia Pubraseer! While he's got some competition as a Light Attacker but he's a solid unit in my opinion. He's a Combo character focusing on his Enhancement Gauge that changes his Skills when the Gauge has enough points. The gauge has a max of six points which gets two points every time the Combo reaches a multiple of five. It can also increase by one when a Hero uses a Skill that increases Combo. When his Gauge has two or more points his 1st Skill will heal the Hero with the lowest HP on your team for 50% of the damage he dealt. For every two points the Enhancement Gauge has it will add an extra hit up to three hits total of course this takes points from the gauge. This can be surprisingly good especially in Unexplored Exploration. His 2nd Skill deals AOE damage which gets stronger the less enemies there are to hit it's 70% at four enemies and 140% when there's only one enemy. Afterwards he grants himself Atk up but if his Enhancement Gauge is at six points he grants Atk Up+ instead at the cost of the six points. His 3rd Skill is 170% Single target damage and if the Combo is less than or equal to 4 it will increase the Combo by two however if the Combo at five or higher when the Skill is used it's damage goes to 270% instead. That's very high damage for cheap and an easy condition to clear. A small note if you use a Support Star Insignia Pubraseer along with yours they share the same Enhancement Gauge. Sidekick Passives for Pubraseer off the top of my head Bartre increases Atk by a set percent and increases Atk a little more in battle based on Combo, Player for lower ViewPower requirements, Sterio for Atk Charge if you have Heroes with multi hit or AOE Skills. Tidal Surge Alphecca can easily ramp up to seven stack of Atk Charge.

There was a new SSS Rank Battle for the Challenge Simulator added today called Fierce Battle! Labor Site. It will last until January 7th 14:00 JST. As always get at least 90,000 points to get all 5 Ether Stones from the score rewards. The first set of Bonus Heroes this time include Joyful Diver Hisaki with increased Buff duration or Buffs provided by 1, Canes with Skills requiring 50% less VP, Flamier with increased Debuff duration or number of Debuffs inflicted by 1 and Rakta Skills require 50% less VP.

While I'm kinda interested in Denebora I have a feeling he might be a Light Attacker and if that's the case I'm probably going to skip as Star Insignia Pubraseer fits into my Combo team already. I do wonder if Sterio will be another Support this time around or maybe they'll go Debuff. Rastaban really looks like a Defense Hero which would be nice to have a new option since Phein is still the only 4star Wood Defense Hero. Regardless wishing everyone the best of luck if you're planning on Summoning when the Banner drops next week!

A bit disappointed by this and the last SSS quest. I thought they were going to gradually increase the difficulty, but they've been piss easy.
Also, just realized they got rid of the reset timer for Unexplored Exploration (roguelike mode). Probably because of SSS quests, but kinda sad there's no reason to do it again if you have all the rewards.
>>
>>1903782
I didn't have trouble with the Slime monster Quest but I did have some trouble with this one despite eventually remembering we had this Quest back in August. I still don't remember exactly how I beat it last time but I managed to beat it again and thankfully it wasn't as bad as the Lantern-Type Kaibutsu Quest. But I also noticed they didn't reset the Unexplored Exploration rewards and it's a shame I was hoping for more support for it like to expand the number of bosses or rotate them for newer ones every reset. It's fun to see how far you can take things with certain passives so even though I already have all the rewards I'll probably play it every so often.

Whiteout Liberation has been live for a bit we got 7 Ether Stones this time for Compensation and the characters are not exactly what I was expecting.
Denebora is an Attacker who focuses on upgrading his 1st and 3rd skills multiple times through the use of his 2nd skill. He has a Reward gauge that increases based on when he or other allies are healed can go up to 10,000 if it's over 3000 when using his 2nd skill he can act again or if its full he uses it to grant everyone Fresh Green. At max upgrade his 1st Skill is 100% AOE damage removes 1 Debuff from all allies. 3rd Skill deals more damage the higher the target's HP to their max. When upgraded at any stage it will also inflict Explosion on the target for 2 turns and an ally with the Heal Role will perform a Follow Up Attack. Of course the upgrades are reset when the Skills are used.
Rastaban is a Combo Attacker with support effects like healing with his 2nd Skill and AOE Spd Down with his 3rd and a new Buff called War Cry that increase ally Atk 2.5% times what the current Combo is up to 50%.
Sterio is a Combo Defense Hero and like Christmas Gomeisa goes full force with support having no way to attack without a Sidekick Skill. He has Resonance Gauge which increases by 1 point when he takes damage or when an ally uses a Skill that increases Combo increasing it based on the amount of Combo that Skill generated. If Resonance is 5 for higher after using his 1st or 2nd Skills he can Act again. The other Gauge gets 1 point when he takes damage or ends his turn when its at 5 points he uses it to grant Everyone, Fighteeng! to allies which increases everyone Atk by 15% for 2 turns and can stack. 2nd Skill can heal himself and increase Combo 3rd inflicts Aim and Atk down on one enemy and the ally with the highest Atk will follow up. If Resonance is 10 or more two allies will follow up.
Tempted for Sterio but I think I can wait. Also the Story selection is a map and it reminds me of World Flipper and it made me smile.

Tis a new year. From what I read we're getting a mini event starting on New Years day with a banner starring Anna, this new horse felllow named Moriyasu, and Red Comet!Narihito. Alongside that there's also the usual "role" banners that'll get you a guaranteed limited from any of the following 4 roles:
DPS - Single Target
DPS - Multi Target
Support - Buffer, healer, view batteries
Disabler - Debuffer, SPD Manipulation, Defense, "Special"
And we'll be getting log-in bonuses alongside new alt outfits for the pictured characters.

Huh I'm surprised Moriyasu isn't limited but even if he was I'm still skipping regardless. Best of luck to anyone planning on Summoning though!
>>1917156
I mean I don't think so people can have preferences to art/art styles. Do you not like how Moriyasu or The Comet Naruhito are drawn specifically or do you not like their respective artist's work in general?
>>1917477
I prefer human feet over hooves and the like. But for some reason while I don't hate it I'm also not 100% on board with this. I really don't know why either I just can't seem to place it.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
So Moriyasu is an Enmity Attacker that seems to want allies for his allies to lose HP as well for his Gauge to active his Full Bloom Skill passively. He can buff his atk by 20% through Intoxicated or an ally's atk by 10% through Feast with his 2nd Skill and doing that makes it turns it into Full Bloom. His Sidekick Active and Passive Skill seem niche tho but it's interesting how they made more characters for Enmity this past year like Alend and Vlaham.

I think that's fair and silver lining you get to save for a bit.

The Epilogue Quest for Masuyori has been added as well as SS Class Zodiac Battle! both will be available until the 22nd while Item Collection Quests will only be around for 6 more days. In the Zodiac battle if you have Moriyasu or The Comet Narihito they will have 50% more Atk while Anna's Healing Skills have 50% HP recovery. If you have Sidekick Moriyasu he will give the Hero he's with 1000 HP, 500 Atk, and will take 250 less damage. Also Buffs and Debuffs do not overlap. If you clear the Quest you will get 15 Parallel Quartz, 5 Ether Stones and a Title. I was honestly expecting them to add another SSS Score Attack Challenge as well since Labor Site ended but I guess not.

>hope that their accessories are good.
I hope so too since accessories tend to feel lackluster more often than not. I was hoping that Star Insignia Pubraseer's accessory would have a costume change to reflect his alternate art like how Wild Freedom Sadayoshi's accessory did.
>the horse still kicks my ass.
Yeah Moriyasu's 2nd Skill potently hitting the same Hero multiple times along with the fact he immediately uses it after falling under 50% HP and also healing himself to try to get back over 50% sucks. I cheesed that Quest with an unserious test run with double Tidal Surge Alphecca chipping away at everyone's HP with their AOE passive damage and towards the end with Flower Dancer Flamier's AOE Burn so they could be taken out quickly as possible so they couldn't fully capitalize off the 20% Atk boost for each enemy defeated or the ability to act twice a turn if there are only two enemies left.
>>1927940
Maybe it will get reran after this years upcoming Valentine's Event since they could have just reran it's Banner alongside Light Years Illumination like they've done with other Events recently.

>>1932788
>deeper on his "gambling" part with his S2
Yeah they could go that route make it where he can earn even more Combo making it hit more than up to 4 times could be interesting with Sterio's Hunting Horn Buff and Good Luck to make it more consistent to try to ramp up Combo. They could make his 1st Skill 100% Burn or make it like Lilac's when Combo is 5 or higher it turns into AOE Burn chance instead of Poison. Basically a Fire version of Flower Dancer Flamier but AOE Burn with no Viewpower cost might be too much. Barrel I could see them keeping his gimmick of increasing his 3rd Skill's damage with each use might just increase the damage range. Maybe change his 2nd Skill to be able to act again if the Combo is high enough kinda like Ryekie's Skill Tree.

Do you thin LAH and Housamo are related like a Lifewonders shared universe ?
You know their obsession with parallel universes and MC.
Do you think that LAH is a result of a fusion of all Housamo multiverse or inversely ?
I notice that some characters look like some on Housamo (but I think it's a flaw point)
Btw, see ya in 5 years for the english translation of the 2nd chapter
>>
>>
>>1934877
Based on what little I've read of translated summaries, the two are definitely related but not as explicitly as F-Kare and Housamo (at least so far?). The next chronological event, Golden Spirit of Dawn, should give you a better idea of how whenever that gets translated, as well as one particular Christmas cameo that was referenced across both games.
As for characters looking alike, I think it's mostly coincidence thanks to them sharing the same artists. Except for Akashi, who obviously looks like Gunzo and even has the same last name and VA. Whether they were just being cheeky cause Shukou Akanaru was LAH's creative director or if it means something more, I don't know.
>see ya in 5 years
Silly anon, they're clearly setting up a full concurrent translation on April! LAH's built different!! (coping)

Since there are more people starting to play here's a rundown of things that are hopefully helpful.
Don't Search/Summon using Ether Crystals on the permanent Banner always use them in the Limited ones. Getting extra copies of Heroes increases their Seal Level. If you're familiar with Housamo's Sacred Artifact Level system then you'll know that 3star Heroes get +1 level per copy, 4star get +5 and 5star get +20 and LV caps at 100. As a Hero's SLV increases they get extra HP, Atk, and reduced ViewPower needed for their own Active skills (Their attacks in battle). At SLV 100 the Hero gets 600 extra HP, 300 Atk, and their Active Skills require 20% less VP to use. However unlike Housamo the Hero will not be removed from the Gacha once their SLV is at 100. Reduced VP and extra stats are nice but it's not make or break for base 5star Heroes in my opinion. With each extra copy you also get Hero Fragments (HF) they're used to increase the number of Fans a Hero has. This just means it increases the amount of Viewpower a Hero gains after using an Active Skill this is nice but not mandatory. The max number of Fans a Hero can have is 1000. HFs can be used in the Gain Fans tab of the training menu. They can also be traded for Record Cubes at Procy's Shop which can be used to buy upgrade items or generic HFs to use on other Heroes based on rarity.
Sidekicks (SK) are basically stat sticks for a Hero and gives the Hero a 4th Active Skill to use in battle. Extra copies of a SK give Hearts which are like HFs but they increase a SK's Relation level cap. You can buy Generic Hearts with Record Cubes at Procy's Shop to use on SK's instead of Summoning for extra copies after you get them for the first time. When a SK's Level cap is at 100 their Active Skill gets upgraded. You only need 5 extra copies to max their level cap and like Heroes they will not be removed from the Gacha Pool. But any extra copies of Hearts after a SK's level is maxed can be traded for Record Cubes at Procy's Shop.
>>
Relations is what determines the strength of a SK's Passive and the stats they give the Hero they're with in battle. The effects scale based on Relation Level (RL) with the Passive unlocking at RL 50 and scales based on RL. Say you have Hero Akashi and SK Mokdai. Mokdai's Passive increases a Hero's base View by 5% at RL 50. At RL 60 it goes to 6% this continues with level 70, 80 and so on until level 100 it's 10%. Relations are separate between every Hero and SK combination. Again say you have Hero Akashi and SK Mokdai at RL 50 that only applies to that version of Akashi not even his Summer Alt. So you need to increase the Relations the SK has with other Heroes you might want the SK to be paired with in the future or who may want the SK's Passive.
Equip Skills are passive effects Heroes can equip either from SK's or Manuals bought from the Office or the Record Cube Exchange at Procy's. At first a Hero only has one Equip Slot. Each SK has their own passive which can be equipped when a Hero and SK are at RL 50. Some passives change how Heroes fight in Auto Battle such as using their 2nd/3rd Skills when possible, others give stat increases or grant Buffs. Heroes do not need to be paired up with the SK in order to equip their passive. Some Manuals that can be bought in the Office increase EXP or Upgrade items Drops like Powerstones
Rank Up, Blooming and Skill Trees. Rank Up increases a Hero's Rarity and Level cap going up to 6star Level 60. When a Hero reaches 5star a certain Skill gets upgraded. At 6star they will have their 2nd Equip Slot unlocked. At Level 60 you can Bloom a Hero which unlocks an accessory, the 3rd Equip Slot, and a Hero's Skill Tree if they have one. However Blooming requires a ton of Powerstones. And items such as Dream Symbols which can be bought at Procy's or Event Shops and also Astro Credits which can only be bought at Procy's. Skill Trees also require a lot of Powerstones this is a late game thing plus ST's aren't added often so no rush
>>
The Boss Simulator is a bi weekly rotation of 4 battles where you can earn Heronium to exchange for items. You can only earn up to 600 Heronium per rotation and can't be carried over to the next rotation so be sure to use it.
Parallel Weapon Remodeling is another way to give Heroes extra stats and damage reduction using Parallel Quartz and Designs. This is unlocked after completing Chapter 3 of the Main Story. This is more of a mid/late game thing as to get a Hero's Parallel Weapon Level to 100 you need 1300 PQ regardless of a Hero's base rarity. PQ can be obtained through their Training Quest three times a day using the 3 Quest Tickets you get every day during log in, the Boss Simulator Shop, or Event Shops. Once a Hero's PWL is at 10 or higher Designs can be used to change how the stats are allocated in a preset manner. They can be bought at Procy's and can be changed multiple times but are single use.
During Events go for Ether Tickets, then any upgrade items based on your current needs the Gold/Legend Medals or Powerstones would be a good start when you start hitting Hero's level caps. You can get character accessories, Music and Background to use for the Office if you'd like as they're cheap. I would wait on getting Dream Symbols and PQ as they're much more expensive.
Exploring the Unknown is a mode where you earn passives after each battle trying to reach a final boss. This can be tough for newer players since you can't bring a Support Hero from another player but can be really fun and you get helpful accumulative point rewards.
The Beginner Missions are useful as you can get items, Hero Pubraseer and a 5star Hero Selector Ticket for Shoen, Marfik, Polaris Mask, Kouki, and Gomeisa. They all have Skill Trees and can be useful in their own way once they have them. Gomeisa in my opinion has aged the best but needs his Skill Tree and Pubraseer can work well as a healer. Good news is the Ticket doesn't expire so you can wait to use it.
>>
There are Weekly Missions to get Star Shards you can earn 1000 a week and can only keep 4000 so keep that in mind. You can get a Permanent Ether Ticket to use on the permanent Banner once a week, Accessories for Heroes that were available during past Events. There are two other free to play Heroes you can get Hisaki and reXer, as well as extra copies of Pubraseer. Hisaki can grant DEF UP through his 2nd and 3rd Skills, reXer can be an okay Attacker focusing on defeating enemies to make his Skills cheaper and as an Enmity Hero doing more damage with his 3rd Skill the closer he is to 1HP. Their SK versions are also available reXer's Active Skill can be very helpful for Attackers granting ATK Up, SPD Up, and lowering VP cost of Skills by 1500 to the Hero he's with for one turn/action while his Passive Skill can remove an Enemy's Buff when the Hero equipped with it deals damage. It can be nice but not super reliable at max 20% chance. Hisaki's Active and Passive Skills revolve around Def Up which can help but more so for tanks. Pubraseer's Active only inflicts Atk down on one enemy for one attack which some Heroes can do naturally and his Passive can give the Hero equipped with it the chance to grant themselves Def Up after using a non damaging Active Skill at a 60% chance max. But many Heroes have only damaging Active Skills so its not the most universally helpful passive.
I think that's about it for what I can think of for now. I know it's a lot but hopefully I explained things well enough. But if there are any specific questions you have someone should be able to answer probably before me since I typically post late at night.

Do the gold tickets also help towards a spark in the gacha? I rerolled for a really long time to get Giansar and realized the 5* rate is pretty bad in this game through that, so I'll probably be saving for a spark and that will help me save.
I'll also probably not be progressing past chapter 1, cause I want to read the story as it comes, because I'm never motivated to go back to read that kinda stuff. Hopefully that won't hinder me too bad.

>>
>>1935061
Yeah, gold tickets count. Saving's also a good idea as neither rates nor free pulls are particularly generous past the initial period. You could alleviate that somewhat by skipping through the story and past events to get their clear rewards but there's a limit to that too as you might guess. Still, something to consider if you're a few Crystals short.

The gold tickets are only useable for limited Banners like the one with Shattering Horizons Giansar. They do count towards a Spark which requires 200 Search Points/200 Summons for a 5star. However the total number of Search Points do not carry over to the next Limited Banner as they get converted into Search Structures which are used to buy Items from the Search Structure exchange of Procy's Shop. For reference it takes about 6-8 months to save for a Spark. Also the permanent Banner does not have a Spark system in place but it's the only Banner you can use the Permanent Ether Tickets (The silver ones) on. I'm glad you said something I cant believe I forgot to include that.
As for Swift Knuckle Procy he is a Valentine Limited Hero so he could be getting a Banner rerun in a few weeks as Lifewonders have been rerunning older Event Banners along side some of the new Events. But he could apart of some random Banner like Wood Attribute Heroes or something so I can't say for certain. What I can say is that Events from last year should get reran eventually this year with their respective Banner. Our next rerun after the new Valentine Event we should be getting will possibly be Chocolate Seekers or Super Catch! Battleship Fishers. But you can use the Wiki to plan ahead incase there's a Limited Banner from last year that catches your interest

Before the translation, I though Exio was a friend bc MC and him are observers and under Broker’s surveillance but apparently Exio hates MC. Seriously finished 2-3 and he tried to kill us but after that we’re ok and hanging out in an amusement park then both kidnapped by Broker then MC is solely kidnapped by them.
I also learned what was a ningen

All effects and values mentioned are when the Skill Tree is fully unlocked.
The Chaser Alchiba becomes a bit more support focused having more stable ways of keeping/getting the Combo Count higher but also has slight increases to his damage.
1st skill's Burn chance is now 100% instead of 60%. It now has a Passive when the Combo Count reaches 1, 6, 11, 16 or 21 at the end of an ally's Action the ally gets +8% Atk for their next Action. This should stack making it 40% when the CC is 21. For reference Lilac’s Passive gives +50% Atk at 25 CC. I don’t know if both of their Passives can stack though.
2nd Skill now hits 3-5 times 3rd hit is guaranteed, 4th has a 60% chance while the 5th hit can happen at a 30% chance. The Skill also gets two Passives. When a Skill that increases CC is used it's increased by an additional point. When 10,000 VP is used by your team he creates a Bullet having up to three. Before his Action he will deal one hit of 40% damage to random enemies up to the number of Bullets made while increasing the CC by 1 for each hit.
3rd Skill gets 10% extra damage making its damage range 90% to 180% based on CC with 10 still needed for 180%.
Cool Gunfighter Barrel becomes kinda like a pseudo Tidal Surge Alphecca.
1st Skill now can hit enemies adjacent to the target when the CC is 5 for higher for 60% damage even as a follow up from his 2nd Skill. Passive when an ally uses their 1st Skill the CC will increase by an additional point.
2nd skill gets 30% more damage and a Passive. If the CC is 10 or higher when an enemy is about act Barrel deals 50% damage to all enemies and increases the damage they take for one hit by at least 10% the % increases based on the CC when used.
3rd skill requires 2000 less VP to use and gives Barrel a Gauge. Every time he uses a Skill it gets a point holding up to six. Each one increases his 3rd Skill damage by 20%. If the Gauge has more than three points after the skill is used the points go back down to three.

>no Lilac
>no anyone really, there's like 8 SR combo supporters and I'm missing all of them
How do I into combos? Can this team work? Viscunam and his wide kit of random shit, Turbak with VP and speed control and Sensietta as a ghetto healer?

Yeah Combo can be tricky without Lilac, Orbiter, and now Skill Tree Alchiba with their Combo +1 Passive.
I see you have Sidekick Kyoichi and Okitaka so that's a good start but do you happen to have any other Heroes/Sidekicks that are Combo related in your roster? Like Orbiter, Barte, Rastaban etc I assume you would have included them if you did but I don't know your full roster. It would be better if you had more Heroes who can benefit from Combo rather than just Barrel to get the most out of it. Even Hero Toshu for example while he can't increase Combo himself his 3rd Skill does go up to 300% Single Target damage when the Combo Count is 10 or higher that's as much as Tidal Surge Alphecca's 3rd Skill modifier of course Alphecca has higher base Attack than Toshu.
As for your team it could probably work if you're really desperate to try and play Combo. You can use a Support Lilac for his Passive instead of Tidal Surge Alphecca since I assume you want Cool Gunfighter Barrel to be your main DPS since I see you have him Bloomed and would rather not have Alphecca steal the spotlight. But even then Viscunam's 1st Skill isn't super reliable for Combo it's 3rd and 4th hits have a 50% and 25% chance of happening. His 2nd Skill Buffs while permanent and can stack they're random and the Hero needs to Act three times before they even start to work and each one will have a different timer due to being applied on different turns in most cases. And Sensettia can work as a harmacist but her 3rd Skill deals damage to three targets at random so it could hit enemies that resist her damage, have Def Up, or hit an enemy you didn't want and those factors can reduce the healing provided. Granted that can be fixed through Turbak's 3rd skill inflicting Aim on an enemy but only lasts for one turn and you might not want to use his 3rd Skill if you're wanting to save for Il Risveglio+/Filo di Unione+.

More than I would have thought as I'm assuming you're a newer player. Probably started around 5th Anniversary or before/during The Glorious Rising Moon rerun since you have Sidekick Gaisei as he's a limited Hero/Sidekick.
With Lilac Support you'd only really need the Combo to be 10 for Barrel's damage before enemy action and Lilac's 3rd Skill damage. Since you already have Viscunam at Level 60 you could try to really play into his 1st Skill. Sidekick Shoen and Rutilex's SK Passive increases secondary Skill effects by 10% that can make Viscunam's 1st Skill's 3rd and 4th hits 20% more reliable with both of them equipped and with CG Barrel's new Skill Tree Passive +1 Combo after an ally uses their 1st Skill and with Lilac it goes to +2 and if I think that could make Viscunam's Combo gain be I think at least 6 up to 10 with one use of his 1st Skill if things work out the way I think they would.
You could instead bring a healer like Pubraseer with SK Kyoichi to use his SK Skill. Assuming SK Kyoichi's level is 100 with Pubraseer to increase the CC by 6 thanks to Lilac on the field and it works Tabit's SK Passive so he'd have a 60% chance of adding another +2 to the Combo instead of +1 to the CC after using a non damaging Skill for 6 or 8 CC after one use of SK Kyoichi's Skill or a 60% chance of +3 Combo after healing.
You could forgo using Lilac and Viscunam to use a Support Wuthering Merriment Sterio as a Tank/Combo generator and his 3rd Skill making 1st and 2nd Heroes with the highest attack to use their 1st Skill. I don't know if CG Barrel's +1 Passive will activate from WM Sterio's 3rd Skill though.
These are just ideas I can't say if they will work as I can't really do an accurate test run since I don't have CG Barrel or WM Sterio and my Hero's stats probably aren't be the same as yours plus you might not have the characters I mentioned since I don't know your full roster.

Yeah I think I might hang up my combo team for the moment, I'm low on mats right now. And yeah first clear, I lucked out on the buffs, Obsidius got three personal buffs for being a debuffer and a Labor Office unit

The team i have is pretty good, decent synergy and support kind of just cleaned it up at the end. And it's not even the strongest it can get.

Free Quests and Sales for Item collection for Light Years Illumination will be ending in about three days also the Boss Simulator will be resetting in about a day so be sure to complete the Quests and spend your Heronium before then.

Ah so you're not a newer player like I had thought sorry about that. But yeah if you're low on resources never a bad idea to wait especially since we should have a new Valentine Event right around the corner. Plus you already have some really good characters Bulldozing Destroyer Obsidius, Starry Night Monomasa, and Unfaltering Devotion Barrel have great synergy with each other. And good luck on trying to beat the other bosses in Unknown Exploration. The Christmas Meltdown boss Creeping Malice was by far the hardest one for me to beat.
