I thought the dial version was harder than the one we have now, but I agree, compared to the flipping of the marshmallows in the first campfire cooking event was way easier than it is now. Devsis does have a habit of overtly complicating or difficulty-spiking their re-hashed events. The ones with consistent easy difficulty are unironically that snakes and ladders game, and that one with an awakened ancient plowing through the beasts minions.

Funny that you said that because I experienced both things too. There was this one artist that drew on model CR smut on pixiv but they vanished entirely from the internet. It's sad, especially how hard is to even remember and find their art on other sites.

One of my favorite series when I was younger, I don't care about Wicked at all, never really saw Wizard of Oz OG movies or books or whatever, i've mostly known about the story within parodies on shows like cartoons and other thigns referencing it so I know pretty much how it goes, and this retake on the world doesn't really interest me that much to see.

This fucking minigame sucks in the sense that you're really RNG dependant on it not fucking up your brain when you are playing it to get a higher score and fast, if you get similar colors like pink, purple, orange and red on one side while the other you get blue, indigo green and other colder colors then it's perfect but if you get a mix of either then it's just not fun trying to figure which to tap where, I'm not the only one who has it like this right?

Kinda funny, but it's actually better to go with Hollyberry, apparently a LOT of new whales when that server came out did go into that because they'd wanted to get ez kills with new players, so it's kinda between that and Hollyberry more chill but slightly older people, not as bad as Pure Vanilla that has day 1 veterans, your best bet might not be dark cacao

Candy Drop definitely have it on ease of use, but Nougat will probably perform much better in raids due to the universal damage amp he applies on enemies.

I've sort of hit what I imagine to be a midgame where I have the means of really maxxing out and creating multiple sets of Beascuits. Every build info thing for cookies usually is in relation to arena where (outside of gimmick stuff like DR stacking for Pure Vanilla) it's all DR bypass on everything. Generically what's the baseline for Beascuits on "generic hard mode pve thing"? ATK, CD, DR?

CD with DR substats is typically what's most in-demand, followed by Attack with CD/DR substats. Any actual "hard mode" end-game stuff in PvE either tends to be highly specific comps for event battles or - in the case of the Beast Yeast Challenge Mode levels - constant crowd control because you just can't build durable enough to live if you get hit.

attack on beascuits is basically junk, the value of each line is too low compared to what you get from toppings. cooldown is the most generically useful stat but it's mostly a cookie-by-cookie thing, especially for guild where the stat requirements are extremely specific.

I completed the teenyping event because I had a lot more free time then than I do now. What happens after the powerpuff event ends, can you still level the cookies/pets?

Eternal Sugar beast raid returned in its original form and remains much, much harder than any other content that they've ever added to Kingdom. It isn't even remotely close. They never have and never will release anything as difficult to clear as this.

It's really telling how barely any player in the town square has Eternal Sugar Cookie eyes and mouth because of how damn hard Master mode is. Stupid fucking devs, locking the damn hat needed to complete the set. It's still gonna be unobtainable too since the raid will close after this without putting ES's entire set for raid coins. You can get Shadowmilk, Burning Spice, and Mystic Flour's full sets for 5,000 coins but not hers.

Kingdom is also pretty good about ensuring that you'll get every cookie to at least 2* or 3* fairly easily, even the legendaries/ancients/beasts. Granted the power scaling creeps higher with ascensions, but you're more or less guaranteed to get the new toys at a minimum of functionality.

it is, surprisingly accessible enough thanks to the fateful cutters and the super epic and higher rarity soulstones being purchasable in that arena, guild alliance, and toucan trade harbor, and fortunately, the bare minimum helps with the 3-star clearing. Wished it was like with ovenbreak that there's a viable epics only team (just like there's a viable epic combi team for both the TR and Breakout Modes, heck, even pilot cookie, knight cookie, and devil cookie being part of those breakout runs) unlike blackberry cookie being the sole exception in that avatar of destiny guild boss raid.

She looks far better in her base form because there was a balance of detail and places where the eyes can rest. Her awakened form suffers from alot of details, making her awakened form look too busy. Mileage does help, but it's like a teaspoon to a flooding soup pot.

The higher the rarity and also the newer the cookie, definitely expect them to be fully loaded with details, especially asymmetric accessories along with various lines, curves and circles to make them stand out. As long as they pass the silhouette test it's acceptable character design. Depending on how old the market is for cookie run, I'd say there's that zeitgeist regarding the mass appeal for detailed cookies.

attack and amplify buff are simply not given in high enough amounts with beascuit lines to compete with toppings. the max attack on a beascuit line is 7.5%, whereas the guaranteed attack from a single raspberry topping is 9%. with amp buff you might think that it's closer but you can only get a minuscule 5% amp per beascuit line - a gold tart gives 10%, and the set bonus for having 2 candy toppings is 9% on top of that.

attack speed on beascuits is very important for guild, with creme brulee, pudding a la mode, and black forest cookie all needing it in various amounts. wind archer also scales well with high attack speed but isn't really used for anything right now other than world exploration so it's not that relevant.

crit is of limited use on beascuits but does get used by black forest and rockstar.

hp works on hollyberry and doughael for maximum scaling based on their skills.

I got eternal sugar and now can clear out hard Beast Yeast stages at like 1.5 mil power disparities. Feels nice.

i know there's a style guide that gets posted here sometimes but i never save it. you don't really have to worry about drawing cookies wrong since each of the games have different styles, but there are a few things i've notice while drawing cookie boobs.
cookies come in normal, slender, and wide, with all 3 body types being about 2 heads tall.
very often the official art will depict them with one eyebrow even they have two in some expressions they make.
sometimes the eye lines are white and sometimes they're black, no idea why.
the clothes designs aren't usually too complex, but it's better if you start with big shapes first and then break those shapes down into smaller shapes and then work on details.

this is what i think your problems would be based on what you described:
too dark probably means you have to fuck around with your brush's opacity until it comes out how you want it to. line art looking weird means you need to train that skill up more. look up tutorials or guides on how people do line art, then practice on your own work, or by tracing other people's work to see how they lined their work.
